Why? Because he has one more title.Clearly you don't know how to assess value.Anybody with understanding of how maths works and we are not using statistical models, so the most representative way of assessing who is the best, is always made of, a combination of 3 things: 1). What is the ratio of how many titles have been won at the top level (grandslam and Masters, series) compared to how many they have entered 2) have they entered a "representative" amount of these tournaments, to qualify as a legitimate comparison against each other. 3) is either significantly ahead in their head-to-head comparison in these high quality events Both have entered and won enough tournaments to qualify for comparison. Both have very similar head-to-head records, e.g. Novak is one ahead in total, but the dial is several match victories ahead in grandslam finals. But ultimately the clearly most important statistic. If you're evaluating who is the all round best TENNIS player, is that Nadal has a significantly superior aggregate score, versus tournament entered and is therefore Nadal is legitimately THE BEST PLAYER. Novak simply loses too many inexplicable and surprising matches at the top level, when compared to Nadal

Really Eurosport??? You just uploaded the whole match but the 2021 semi final was short to last set, that was the one of the best tennis i have ever watched on the third set .. why the biasness
I have seen Nadal play well and this wasn't the match. Djokovic was super nervous in that match and it showed. Prime Nadal = French 08, W08, USO 2010. We saw glimpses of prime Nadal - perhaps USO 2013, French 2017 was an outlier - he pretty much resurrected his GOAT form. AO 2022 - his last HC slam and a horrendous choke by Medvedev.
Sadly, we've seen only 2 encounters at Australian Open, Novak's must successful slam where he never lost a final. 10 encounters at RG. They faced each other more at RG (played many finals there) than all the other slams combined (AO+W+USO=8). It tells you all about Novak never avoiding Nadal at his most successful slam and his best surface, on the contrary I can't say the same about Nadal and AO.
It's not Nadal's fault Djokovic couldn't make the final in 2009, 2014, 2017, (or 2022, lol) Also Nadal has more USO titles than Djokovic, and a winning record against him there as well.
@Dean Maldonado we were talking about AO first, then it's obvious that if you face King of clay 10 times it's easier to lose to him. Meanwhile for Rafa, putting aside Wimbledon 2007 where Nole was constricted to withdraw, Rafa won only 2 times in New York, Nole beat him 2 in Wimbledon, 2 AO (his best slam) e and 1 in New York. 5-2 on 3 slams with 7 encounters. Rafa is 8-2 on his best surface. It changes a lot.
It’s just as much Djokovic’s fault as it is Nadal’s that they haven’t played more at AO. Nadal was in the final in 2009, 2014, 2017, 2022 waiting for Djokovic, who wasn’t there. Not to mention Nadal has had a ton of injuries at that tournament which didn’t help.
@@riccardopacella8897 5-3* so Nadal has basically played Djokovic even outside of clay. Thanks for proving our point! Djokovic in 2007 was well-known for retiring when he didn’t need to. Federer has said the same and so has Roddick. Nadal was pounding him at Wimbledon 2007 and Djokovic withdrew. Curious how you counted Djokovic’s 2006 RG withdrawal but not the 2007 Wimbledon one. Almost like you’re trying to push a narrative, but Djokovic fans would never fudge stats to help their case, right??

Djokovic beat nadal two times in RG. 2015 and 2021. Rafa was not at 100%. If rafa isn't injured nobody can beat him in roland garros. Nobody.
Rafael Nadal is so fucking badass, this might be my favourite ever match!!! 🙂
This 2020 Roland garros between Nadal and Djokovic was a bit contentious I didn't realize what goes on between them but as always Nadal comes out shining as a clear winner and gentlemen
El mejor de todos los tiempos
Novak got his ass whooped nearly as bad as Federer in 2008 when Federer only won 4 games against Nadal. And people wanna claim that Roger or Novak the GOAT. When Rafa loses to them he never gets embarrassed, even when he's injured he at least wins a set in Grand slams
Idk the Aus Open final 2019 was an even harder beat up for Nadal than the finale here for Djokovic
@@donvito7344 This was a bigger beatdown than that 2019 final. Rafa won 1 more game than Novak did here and Novak got bageled here as well, the only time it ever happened in their rivalry.
Рафаэль,не хватает тебя 😢
Nadal is brilliant on clay - ya está!
thx for upload of final in HD! Weird to see GS final in an empty stadium. How can anyone return that Rafa forehand?!
DIOS TE BENDIGA SIEMPRE RAFAEL NADAL BENDICIONES EN TODA EL AÑO 2024 VAMOS RAFA SI SE PUEDE.
Rafaeeeel Nadaaaaal
This one ist for History. How to train with Rafael Nadal. 😂
already miss Rafa
very well played by nadal
NADAL FOR EVER 💪
Pelo y barba de Nadal a Djokovic.
Omg i didn't know nadal beat him that much..3-0 .., and 6-0😮😅😂😂
i can see why you would think this is really boring cmon with something worth engaging in.
Super
At least with a modern racquet in his hands - nadal is the the undesputed goat on clay
Wow i watch two hours 😮
Nafal is a clay court genius.thats it . Not any other.
Still very good on other surfaces which is why he won 8 slams and played 16 slam finals outside clay. He is really bad on indoor hardcourt though.
Can you please upload the full match of 2019 french open final between nadal vs thiem and 2022 french open Qf between nadal vs djokovic ?
The day Novax Fakeuvic was demolished by the King Of Clay!!
Anyone agree?
I'm not really sure how Rafa does it.
What Novak must do to win a point is absurd.
The Era of hatte
Sheer credit to Rafael. Who can win 14 times in 1 grand slam ? Noone.. So naturally he is the GOAT along with Roger Federer..
so this is how Nadal fans felt after 2019 AO final !!!!
I hope we can have Nadal vs djokovic 2014 Roland garros
eurosport is always biased against Djokovic, the greatest tennis player ever lived.
despite your continuous efforts to minimize Djokovic's dazzling results, wise people know that according to his results he is the best, I know that the fact that he is from Eastern Europe does not suit you at all, s he was German or Swedish or English I think we will have another story.
Why? Because he has one more title.Clearly you don't know how to assess value.Anybody with understanding of how maths works and we are not using statistical models, so the most representative way of assessing who is the best, is always made of, a combination of 3 things:
1). What is the ratio of how many titles have been won at the top level (grandslam and Masters, series) compared to how many they have entered
2) have they entered a "representative" amount of these tournaments, to qualify as a legitimate comparison against each other.
3) is either significantly ahead in their head-to-head comparison in these high quality events
Both have entered and won enough tournaments to qualify for comparison.
@@Rowlph8888you are funny guy. Djoković has :
1. More GS titles 23>22
2. More ATP Finals 6>0
3. More Masters titles 38>36
4. More weeks at N1 389>209
5. More year end N1 7>5
6. More career prize money 170 m > 130 m
7. Better win/loss pct during career 83,5 >82,9
8. More top 10 wins 247 >180 or something...
@@veljkoterzic3513 Well, from your comment is clear that you are either young and/or not educated to very high level, especially in how to assess value, and/or extremely biased. Everything you listed is completely irrelevant. Quality can only be assessed at the highest level, which is grandslam and Masters series. The fact that you listed total victories and ignored the absolute legitimacy of the ratio that I stated was crucial. E.g. wins versus tournament entered, shows your thinking is highly compromised.
*In no other industries anywhere is value assessed in the ridiculous and laughable way you listed a load of irrelevant Arbitrarily picked metrics.I can't be bothered find the ratio, but it's the only thing that Matters. Rafa's ratio is considerably superior, because he is far more consistent victories at the top level.
*All this, in any era when clay-court have been marginalised, in favour of hard courts -Rafa STILL has a better record. In previous eras, he would be streets ahead!Mostl
nadal destroyed djokovic in this final...
Rafa doesn't need umpair.
It's not Nadal's fault Djokovic couldn't make the final in 2009, 2014, 2017, (or 2022, lol)
Also Nadal has more USO titles than Djokovic, and a winning record against him there as well.
@@SJ-di5zu Exactly
Nao tem pelo menos nem 50 fps 😡
Easily the two beat players of all time. What an honor to watch them play.
Wonderful competition
I am so used to seeing them take it to 4 to 5 hours that when I saw the time on the video I thought it was a very long highlight video, not the full match
