In Nanny McPhee Returns, Oscar®-winning actress and screenwriter Emma Thompson returns to the role of the magical nanny who appears when she’s needed the most and wanted the least in the next chapter of the hilarious and heartwarming fable that has enchanted children around the world.
In the latest installment, Nanny McPhee appears at the door of a harried young mother, Mrs. Isabel Green (Maggie Gyllenhaal), who is trying to run the family farm while her husband is away at war. But once she’s arrived, Nanny McPhee discovers that Mrs. Green’s children are fighting a war of their own against two spoiled city cousins who have just moved in and refuse to leave.
Relying on everything from a flying motorcycle and a statue that comes to life to a tree-climbing piglet and a baby elephant who turns up in the oddest places, Nanny McPhee uses her magic to teach her mischievous charges five new lessons.

I dunno why but I really like nanny McPhee's utterly deranged vibe, she just silently demonstrates herself as this ancient being, more of an idea than a person, like, the creaking of wood as she pulls out her walking cane, as if an ancient and dormant spirit moved for the first time in decades, like if every move was equatable to the expanse of a forest, or the shift of a tectonic plaque, and all for the sake of changing someone for the better, because that's like, kind-of what it takes to teach a person to be good: An effort comparable to moving a mountain.
Still hoping for that 3rd and final film that was planned.

And that's what I'm hoping will happen I really hope something will happen and the 3rd movie will be made.
It's subtly a sad existence in a way, because it means she can't truly be with friends, because they would want to be around her. But she can only be where she's needed.
Let's hope all the original actors come back for the 3rd film
There's a third film ?
They have been planning one but they couldn’t due to budget.
So a theory i came up a while back and i'm sure people also thought of the same thing. That's nanny McPhee and Mary Poppins exist in the same universe, they both are witches, the two series both take place in Britain and they both worked with kids.
I also used to theorise that Nanny McPhee exist in the Harry Potter's universe, but the time periods which both Nanny McPhee movies set in kinda contradict that. Because in Harry Potter's universe, The international statute of secrecy set much earlier.
Nanny McPhee lives more than a normal human and she was the one who transformed the prince on the best in the beauty and the beast

The title is " Joséphine, ange gardien " (Josephine, guardian angel in english). In each episode, she appears almost near the person she has to help and disappear in the end when all the problems are sold. Some are specials because she needs to travel time for finding the origin of a problem who takes place in our times

¿Why I should accept as my lord and savior someone who has been dead for the last 2 millenia? That if he existed at all, there's zero proofs of his existence.
The only spiritual guidance I believe in are Gin, Rum, Vodka, Whisky and Brandy. Not all in the same glass at once, that would be revolting.
