That dress is exquisite
Absolutely adore this scene. The movie was sweet and this brought it all together and made it a favorite.
Evangeline "I don't look much like the bride"
Nanny Mcfee "Give me a second"
I love the fact everyone watches this but doesn’t question it
They probably think it's a miracle of God
I like how this was foreshadowing in the beginning of the movie because it showed that she already acted like a mother to the children and that she and mr brown already had deep feelings for each other they just didn’t know it yet and were afraid to show it
Not just they didn't know it yet -- for a servant to admit romantic feelings for the master of the house would be quite improper, hence why Aunt Adelaide fainted when she heard Cedric was going to marry a scullery maid (even if she would make the perfect stepmother for the children).
So William Weatherall Wilkins marries Helena Ravenclaw escorted by Professor Trelawny.
1:36 watched by umbridge 😂
I suspect for many "Wilikins" is still "Darcy".
Look..umbridge is also there😂
Just perfect movie and actors.Idon t know how many times I have seen it.
the children did an amazing job too!
The soundtrack is just absolutly magnificent
The wholesome part of me loved the genuine feeling of this, the love and togetherness of it all. The small, weird part of me, though, does wonder if on the wedding night she called him Mr. Brown out of habit. I mean, I doubt she has ever dared to call him by his first name even to herself. The only two people who call him by his first name in the movie, ‘Cedric’, are Aunt Adelaide and the widow Stitch, the two he would most like to never hear from…lol
I've wondered that myself! You can imagine him, with a twinkle in his eye, calling her Mrs Brown.
When i hear the words “I didn‘t Look like a bride“ then mcPhee say… “you will“
I cry one‘s eyes out 😂
Colin Firth knows how to rock those gathered white shirts. That's for sure.
😂😂😂
Beautiful wedding day snow in August
Beautiful wedding day
When I saw this I wanted her wedding dress so bad 😂
This scene just feels like Narnia
This movie makes me insanely happy
I love the editing. So magical to somewhat disturbing vibes at the intro and throughout first half of the movie 🕊🕊🕊🕊
watched this last night. i knew evangeline and cedric were meant for each other as soon as i saw the first scene with them together 💗
My favourite movie l can watch it manytyms and still enjoy
Que hermosa pelicula es esta!!!!!!!!!
One interesting point. Unlike a lot of film couples (if the characters are the same age as their actors) Evangeline is just within Cedric's appropriate age range by about a month.
Haaa quando o ser humano vai descobrir que a viver é uma bela magia. 🙌🙏❤👏👏👏👏🇧🇷
So weird seeing Helena Ravenclaw being alive and well
Or Dolores Umbitch acting and looking like a Weasley 🤣
I didn't know Lettice 'Isabel' Knollys survived the poisoned dress.
Such a beautiful movie my all time child hood favourite 🤗.
Dit vind ik zo n mooie film schat, die wil ik zo graag met jou samen kijken.
I noticed ain't nobody said one word about how nanny McPhee looked really young at the end somehow
She symbolizes their mother who has passed away. That’s why she always bowed to her chair and already knew the names of the children. She basically returned one last time to help her husband and children grieve and heal.
@@locqueenvibez9415 oh okay now it makes sense I always wondered about that
@@marcusbaskin8867 Yep! This is why I cry every time watching it lol
@@locqueenvibez9415 i always loved nanny McPhee the only part that made me cry was when she left
@@marcusbaskin8867 or maybe because they're religious and think it's a God's miracle
Its all coming back 😊😊😊😊

Is no one cold?
Magic snow?!
It is August. Snow in August!!!
@@yekaterinaaverbukh8486 Definitely magic snow (though being from Australia, I can say we had snow in August!)
@@sunburycelebrantcatherinem6451 lol, forgot you are on opposite sides of the rest of the world, but you don't really have snow, do you?
@@yekaterinaaverbukh8486 I’m in Victoria, which is the southernmost state of the mainland. We get snow in the mountains but last year it was so cold we got a day of snow in Sunbury in August and one day in September!❄️
Bel film

Haven't seen this, what's the title of it.

Emma Thompson perfromed the role like nobody will ever do again, no matter if the woke culture tries remake it they will never replicate the magic this movie had
She didn't just play the titular character she bought the rights to and adapted the source material. "Nanny McPhee" is an adaptation of the "Nurse Matilda" books by British author Christiana Brand. Thompson changed her name because Nurse doesn't associate with caretaker anymore and Matilda was changed because she didn't want her character mistaken for the Roald Dahl character.
