Hugs Mandy, this is the way i see it . I am a mom of 6 i worked my ever loving ars off over the years i didnt even have time to think about makeup. I have 3 pat palettes and frankly i feel so special when i use them between me and me lol. Then were worth every penny and if I get some joy out of them i dont care what the world thinks. I should of been paid over 100000 a year to raise this lot so i can indulge occasionally i dont feel any guilt at all you shouldnt either !!!

I think you could wear this every day you look stunning. I have 2 large PM palettes and 2 4 pans I love the quality I have more of a hard time deciding which colors to use. your eye look is outstanding!
I love Pat's shadow formula because it gives the most beautiful look with layering colors! Like if you wanted a golden olive green you just put that gold over the olive shade and holy moly it's so darn pretty! That white shade just transforms every shimmery shade into like a wet look on your eyes! I started out with the Divine Rose mothership and I've collected all her eyeshadow palettes and they're just so darn pretty! I think you'd really like the new quad she just released! It's more natural but has that duo chrome that adds some wow factor. The matte though is super pigmented so it will last so long!
Hi Mandy, a really good brow pen that I use is the NYX lift & snatch brow pen. Its very even & smooth to apply. Love this look, so, so pretty!! xoxo ❤😘

I have seen les mis once and I sobbed! I love the music and hearing people talk about live theatre again makes me so happy! I actually had my first live performance today since June 2019 and it made me so incredibly happy! Today was my light day but tmr I have a ton of numbers in my show but I also go to see my students perform today! (I’m a 16 year old student teacher) and Eve thing I was running around like a mad man I was so so so happy to see my kids perform and am exited to perform tomorrow!

Don’t think we didn’t notice (and approve) of how you took a more gentle finger swatch of the ivory-silver shade and then use the same swatch on your eyelid! 😂 Each swatch is practically a dollar worth so you gotta use them wisely! Beautiful look!

There’s nothing wrong with treating yourself to a luxury product like the Pat McGrath palette. You work hard and you deserve it so don’t feel guilty about it!! You already bought it so enjoy it!! I like the Glossier brow flick because it’s not super pigmented and I find it much easier to work with than with really pigmented pens. I e heard the Lime Crime brow pens are really nice too but I’ve never tried them so I can’t say for sure.

I have one of those foundation brushes because I'm old 🤣, I use a kabuki style brush now, but I use my old foundation brush for masks now. Also, NYX makes an eyebrow pen called the Lift and Snatch, that comes in Ash Brown. I think that color would look ok on you. I use it for the front of my brows, and the eyebrow pencil for the rest.

The special shades are the 4 in that corner the one you used and the other three in that corner. I own all the Pat McGrath palettes and love her quality!!! Beautiful look btw. Love the brow b pen from nyx it’s great and they have lighter shade that should work for you. It’s called lift and snatch brow pen!! Got mine at Walmart. Their sweet checks blushes are great too!! Like a mousse formula!! Think you would love it!!

Stila makes a really good eyebrow pen that isn’t very dark, I love it :)
I love Royal & Langnickel brushes! They are beautiful brushes for makeup AND for watercolor! No feeing guilty for spending money on beautiful makeup - it's not fun. It would be WAY more fun to hear about you really enjoying it. WAY more! :) You deserve nice things. XOXO Heidi
I didn’t use paddle shaped brushes until I started preferring less coverage/minimal product. I paint a thin layer to get even coverage partially in problem areas.
I’ve been really obsessed with celebrity/idol/Kpop Korean MUAs and they perfect base like nothing I’ve ever seen, many paint the foundation before really tapping it in, the techniques they use are 👩🍳💋!
* get the NXY brow pens, they have tons of shades! I prefer that formula over urban decay, stila, abh and all the others I’ve tried.

I saw Les Mis when it first went to Las Vegas, wonderful. I was also lucky enough to see a number of other Broadway shows. I used to use a paddle brush for foundation then I found Beauty Blender.
I have seen Les Mis a few times in different places and LOVE it. The music just gets you going- after the final round of "Do You Hear the People Sing" I feel like I'm on a mission. I don't know what the mission is, but dang I am read to conquer it!
I have seen Les Mis a bunch of times. Mostly in Sydney, but once on the West End in London in the 1990s. It’s my favourite musicals ever. I remember bawling when Eponine died, when Marius sang ‘empty chairs at empty tables’, and when Jean Valjean dies, the music is so amazing!!!!!
Gorgeous look as always. I feel you on the price of the Pat McGrath palette. My ND Glam palette cost me $AU 110. Pricey, but I justify it by the number of applications I will get out of it 😂. Right now I am contemplating the PM celestial Divinity ($AU144). I can’t bring myself to pay the price of the very expensive PM or ND palettes, because they are up around $AU250.
Les mis is one of my all time favorites! Have seen it live about 5 or 6 times, but I did see the revival on Broadway!

I did a look with that palette yesterday too 😍 but I used the dark brown as Crease and outer third, the lilac on the lid, the top 1st as under Brow highlight and the same special shade in the inner corner 😊 very simple but gorgeous 😉 The special shades are the 4 on the right side, usually a different formula, very sparkling and transformative (can be used as a normal shadow or as a transformative topper) 🥰 I like the Colourpop supershoc but PMG it's totally different experience 😅 And yes I don't regret having all her palettes 😁😂😂😂 Gorgeous look 😍 xx
I’ve seen Les Mis on Broadway, in theaters multiple times, and more than a few HS/local productions. It is one of my absolute favorite shows, and I ugly-cry every time. Rent and Hair are my other favorites, but I haven’t seen Hamilton or Dear Evan Hanson on stage yet. I live in NY, so hoping to get there eventually!
Mandy, try the NYX ink pen in Taupe. That one will be perfect for you. I have brown hair and don't like my brows too dark and use the ink pen from NYX and love it. I have tried the Urban Decay pen in the Taupe and Light brown and definitely prefer the NYX one. And please enjoy your Pat McGrath palette and don't regret what you paid for it. It's a beautiful palette and you deserve it.

That primer is one of my favorites! It will plumps my skin and it doesn’t matter if I wear my nars or makeup forever foundations it doesn’t disturb them!

Hey the best brow pen (that i have found) is by Mac shape and shade, it’s got a pen and a brow powder on the other end. It’s not crazy pigmented and yet it lasts!

Your videos are so soothing for me. Have you shown that yet? I cannot believe how youthful your face and neck look especially for your skin color. Flawless. Also, I keep trying to get the Marc Jacob’s eyeshadow palette you showed and said was extremely easy to apply. Would you say it is worth it?

The first foundation brush I ever bought was probably around 2000 and it was a paddle brush like that. I’m sure I saw it in Allure or something and the concept of using brushes was new to me so of course I had to try it. I don’t know how I ever used it. Can’t live without a sponge now.

Mandy, I ordered the Mizon BB cream and the juicy pang cushion blush from Yesstyle. I haven’t received it yet. BTW. Broadway is amazing. I have been going since I was a child. It’s one of my favorite things to do. And Le Miz is also a favorite
I remember buying my first $129 palette from Natasha Denona last spring (it was during the vib sale and I got 15% off), but it still made me ill. I'll purchase again, but through their websites instead of Sephora. Brand websites have the best deals sometimes even 50% off or more. Enjoy that palette, we all need nice things sometimes 😍.

I had a great paddle brush for foundation from Clinique that was really great. Used it til it was really in bad shape. There isn’t another that compares to that brush, not even IT brushes, they all absorb all your foundation!
I saw Le Miz in San Francisco about 22 years ago. It was really good & I was surprised because I despised the book & couldn't finish it in high school. Too depressing. But the musical is pretty amazing & I enjoyed the performance we saw.
I've seen Les Miserable the movies not a play production but I've seen Phantom of the Opera the play 3 times it was wonderful you must see! Love your eye looks your not over the top which I can do, glitters sometimes are to much for me as really dark shadows, so thanks for the looks!

This Midnight Summer pallette is my favorite from Pat. Enjoy it and don't feel guilty about the price. With the sale it is very much worth it and it is also very visible that it is higher end eyeshadow, quality. It also lasts on the eyes forever and looks like you just applied it, not like muddy mess.

You use that touch n sol prime essence under a primer. It is a skin care product slash makeup product. I've used it under different primers and its always a bonus to the look.

Such a beautiful look. I always have a bit of shimmer on my inner lid, it just makes me feel feminine! As for the brow pens, try the NYX Lift & Snatch in Blonde. I've got that one, Taupe and one in Auburn. They absolutely rock and I cannot recommend them enough!

I actually use that kind of paddle type foundation brush for a little bit concealer or color corrector under eyes. It work somehow really gentle on sensitive skin and has a point to get into the corner.
Milani has a Weekend brow pen in Soft Brown that is light and neutral.
I love Les Mis as well! I've seen it live once also (in Raleigh, NC) and had the complete soundtrack (and know it by heart). I'm a huge musical theater nerd 😁 Also, way to go on using the "scary" palette - I love how it turned out!
