This Child Palette is legitimately one of my favorite palettes!! I got it because I'm a huge Star Wars geek but I LOVE THE COLOR STORY! I'll admit that I was surprised to like it so much! I will be ordering a back up... That's how much I like it. Lol
I feel the exact same way! Fans like us would have bought this no matter what and I was shocked at how really well thought out the color story is. This is the way!
I use the elf pore filling primer around the outside corner of my eyes...alas, my age is showing (crows feet) and my eyeshadow doesn’t blend as well in that area and the elf primer helps fill in and smooth things out.
Oooh I'm gonna give that a try. I have the same issue but it seems to happen more on 1 eye than both. Crazy, right? LOL Either way thanks for the tip...

Oooo the green is so nice. Really love this look. Got the pat mcgrath by the way and the colors are pigmented !! Worth the 14 bucks but we’re all shimmers so you do need to dip into other palette’s but I didn’t mind.
Your Harry Potter comment really hit home. I’m a HUGE HP fan, and my son and husband are big Star Wars fans. I really enjoy Star Wars now, but it will never compare to Harry Potter. I did buy this palette because The Child is so precious and green is my favorite color.

Hi Mandy, I used to use benefit’s pink porefessional, but the elf primer works so much better on my skin. Either my skin is getting older (clearly it does!) and it doesn’t work as well as it used to or the benefit formula has changed. The Elf primer works much much better and is more affordable
I watched Shae's swatching review of this palette. I wasn't impressed. Green is my favorite color. I've been looking for a matte green for what seems like forever. When you put that on I really didn't expect for it to show up so deep. I loved the entire look which says something because using a green shimmer shade isn't something I would have done. Big doe foot applicators? Ugh, my concealer doe foot is HUGE. I always try to put just one small dot but it lands out being too much product. The other day I decided to pull out a brush to dab the amount I thought I'd need. Since that's a new technique for me I'm still trying to figure out the right amount to dab on, lol. Great video...

I don’t find a difference with primer either!! But I do love the Garnier Glow Boost illuminating moisturizer that you raved about a while back, so I tried it and love it!!! I pair that with my favorite eye cream and I’m good with that! Thank you for all the tips, I’m never disappointed when I try something you recommend 🙂

I have really been enjoying the L’Oréal Magic Perfecting Base face primer in their Studio Secrets line. I tried it off a recommendation from Jen Phelps. I have large pores and texture AND 54 year old normal/dry skin. The ELF poreless putty and the Tatcha Silk Canvas didn’t really do much for me. I also like the Smashbox Photo Finish Minimize Pores primer in the light purple tube, but it is pricier than the L’Oréal one.

You were the first YTer I thought of when I saw this release. I got my palette yesterday and I’m obsessed! OBSESSED! It also helps that I’m a huge Star Wars / madalorian fan. And a lover of green I’m eye shadow. They killed it with this palette!
I have huge pores and I would say that the elf putty primer is the first pore filling primer I have tried that I love! The only thing I don’t like about it is I have very oily skin so if I’m very hot and sweaty in the summer or just having a super oily day i seem to get oily where I put it. But on an average day as long as I use powder I’m good! I might try the matte putty primer come next summer (I’m dry in the winter so no rush lol)
Maybe you should try out cinema secrets to clean your brushes!!! Especially with the rephr natural hair brushes you should only use soap and water on the them once a month. Cinema Secrets cleans them and dries in minutes!! Completely agree with you on the colourpop palette love the greens they are the perfect shades though I don’t mind Star Wars!!
I wanted that CP the Child palette SO SO badly and it came out the day before I got paid so I missed it! I was so upset! I absolutely love greens and it's so hard to find the shades of green I like and thus was almost perfect! I really hope they come out with it again! Or make another all green palette with olive greens, khaki greens, missy greens and a nice forrest green! Like I really wish I could find my perfect green palette!

My favorite pore-filing primer is No7 Airbrush Away Radiance Boosting primer. It’s great and it’s drugstore! Loved this look btw! 💚
