Thank you so much. Your video is fun to watch. I have a question. I recorded a 2 hour voice memo on my ipad. When I pressed "done," it stayed "greyed out." I waited awhile. In our case a file seems to be saved in a physically damaged place on the disk, chkdsh /f results in "disk read error occurredc0000185" / "An unspecified error occurred (6c6f6766696c652e 2a9)." Any idea, if there is a way to low-level copy a part of (Escel) file from where it starts (binary or hex address) to the place where OS stops reading it (57%), skip portion of damaged place on hdd, copy it from (eg) 58%->100% (where it finishes) and then combaint 2 parts of file toghether?
Hello bro I lost my software and files that was inside my exstral hard drive in my system. I did not remember to unplug it before installing new windows on my desktop. After installation I did not see any files nor my software including project files for songs from artists. Please what can I use 😬

another guy did a youtube video comparing diskdrill, easeUS, stellar, and wondershare... DISKDRILL found 141,369 files.. Stellar only found 74,388 files on the same drive... EASEUS found 466gb data while Stellar only found 548GB data... EaseUS found the largest volume of data, diskdrill found the largest number of files.. Stellar did not win any category ---------- I use ActiveUndelete and DiskDigger which are both a fraction of the cost
Yeah I can't help but think that this was a paid sponsorship first and a "Best Recovery Tools" video second. Video was going great until he said he had a deal with Stellar at the end. Throws all of his validity out of the window. Despite his possible good intentions, it comes off as him putting the money first and the viewer second. Poor move IMO.

One of my external hard drives inexplicably changed its partition type from NTFS to RAW.
I am seeking a way to recover the entire drive.
It seems as though recovery tools have you pick file types. I am not clear on whether or not that is only an option, in case you want only specific file types recovered?
I am looking to recover 100% of my files (if possible).
I have an empty drive that has the capacity to store all recovered files.
My questions are:
1) Will any of the tools from this video allow me to copy all files from my failed drive's RAW partition to a new drive?
If not one of the tools from this video, can you recommend a tool that can do the above?
2) Will the recovered files retain the directory structure of the failed drive?
I can live without the directory structure being maintained. But I would like to get all of my files back.

I have a toshiba 2TB HDD I use for external storage. My iMac stopped reading the HDD. It's not on my 'location' list in finder. I've tried to use disk util & terminal to recover the files on my HDD. Is there any software that might help?

Installed STELLAR. Let it do a deep scan on my 64GB flash drive, took 3 hours and seemed to find 151GB of data. At 99% it crashed and program shut itself down. Have not had this happen with 3 other data recovery apps I use. So far not a good first impression.
