This adventure took us from the vibrant energy of the USA to the stunning landscapes of Australia and everywhere in between. We spent 5 months exploring each country, housesitting along the way and soaking in the incredible sights (Great Barrier Reef, Uluru, Tasmania, New Zealand - just to name a few!).

Yes the reverse culture shock with consumerism and general social culture is very real. We too are nomads and our lives are so much different now than they were at home. I am not looking forward to going home to visit family and friends... they can't relate to the world that you have been living in while away... time has marched on for them in the same rat race... while our lives have gone in slow motion.

I petsit for a living in Arizona and I am beginning my travels in 2 months. The pets are what I'll miss the most when I leave the U.S.
