You sold me right off the bat! I bought mine right before they sold out about the beginning of May '24. Delivery was rough on it, and e-mailed Lampro who in-turn e-mailed me back with replacement parts if wanted. He even offered the 2nd 15Ah battery with this new pre-order offer he's running . Anyway, I'm 67 and have 4 - 20" fat-tire foldables, a modified Lectric XP 2.0 with a air-fork and 750W Bafang rear hub motor, a Polarna M5 , a ViTiLan i7 Pro, & a new Mihogo NX, all set up with 2nd batteries and voltmeters to monitor the batteries. So after getting this Furious e-bike, I'm sold on the pure, flat out performance of this bike. The ride is cushy, powerful with or without front motor engaged, and they are super quiet compared to all my other 20 inchers. I've only ridden it three times so far and have been dialing it in with the shifting, seat and the torque settings. I love the adjust-ability they have left in the controller display to adjust your preferences into the bike. The Guide front fork is the cushiest, most responsive hydraulic, I've ridden to date, and that's over the air-forks on my other foldables. I will admit, there are some production miscues on the design, like what Citizen spoke about with the down-tube motor cable for the front wheel, which I found can be relocated into the battery cavity, away from harming objects. the cut-outs for the cabling in the controller box at the bottom bracket area has sharp edges that could cut and chaff the cables, wires and cable housings as well as the hydraulic lines. I took a Dremel tool with a barrel sanding roller to smooth out those edges I could get to and stuffed a firewall grommet in the rear hole for the rear motor cable. My derailleur cage protector got pushed into the derailleur, bending both of them, and breaking one side of the rod of the protector at the weld. I found a new one on Amazon that is way beefier and actually fits better than the original. But the derailleur is needing some serious realignment and adjustment to get it back to smooth function. The fork steerer tube was capped off with a normal head set cap and bolt to hold the tube in the frame for shipment, but UPS delivered it upside down on the steerer tube, which was by now, protruding out of the box and all scratched up. I documented the whole shipment receipt with pictures before opening the box. The UPS guy was in a hurry, because he dropped it off out close to the street just under my aluminum driveway carport. I couldn't catch him to complain to him about how he and his company handled that shipment. Fortunately Lampro is well aware of this, and is working on resolutions to correct future incidences. (Oh, and the stem replaces the cap on the steerer tube so the cap was a shipping temporary thing.) Final thought...I do LOVE this bike! 🤩

Hey do you ride it more like a motorcycle or do you end up actually pedaling? Im 5"11 nearly 50 years old. Im trying to justify a purchase so i can do SOME exercising every now and then lol. The kid in me totally wants this as a toy.

    • @jockwetmiller4692
      @jockwetmiller4692 6 месяцев назад +5

@@whoanelly- It rides like a motorcycle! It is the best riding bike I've ridden yet. Funny thing is I have only been using it in PAS 3 (out of 5) most of the time because I can achieve the 35 mph in it by shifting to the higher gears. I relocated the chain ring on the crank to the outside of the crank mounts to gain more clearance between the sprocket teeth and the rear chain stay, and recently upgraded to a 58 tooth chain ring. Looks like I will need to go up all the way to the 60 tooth sprocket to maintain some pedal resistance at those higher speeds. With the torque sensor the amount of pedal pressure results in the amount of assist you get from the motor and at 110nm of torque, that's plenty enough to get out of the way of things. Presently I'm getting a little more than 30 miles (2 - 15 mile rides) out of the dual 20Ah 60v batteries paralleled together. I could probably do 40 miles, but I haven't increased my 15 mile route yet and time wise need to keep the rides within the hour period of time. I ride with my copilot, Max (a 3 - year old male Yorkie in a front pouch carrier on my chest). He loves the rides! Oh and b-t-w, it's low aerobic exercise and decent cardio, but you can induce whatever level of assist you want to add to your journeys. I pedal most of the time, and with the torque sensor it's way more fun to ride and control it. :)

I can recommend any bike from furuous e bikes. I own a fabulous emx from them, and the owner Lampro is amazing, and the customer service is above no other!!! Would highly recommend purchasing from Lampro. You will not be disappointed. Great products. Great customer service. When you purchase any other ebike, can you pick up tue phone and talk with the owner? No, probably not, but with Lampro, you can, and if you have an issue, he will gladly help you out. I can't recommend buying one of these enough. You will not be disappointed !!! Excellent Ebikes Lampro!!

Appreciate your comment. When deciding where to buy, customer service is the most important factor for me. Indeed, on two other AWD bikes I was considering I saw a number of complaints about poor or rude customer service AFTER the guys bought their bikes. (That is a typical pattern, isn't it.)
So when I read comments such as yours, that motivates me to make the purchase.

I can't understand why manufacturers don't unevenly distribute the power between the rear and front motors given most of the weight is on the rear wheel. In this case 60v 1000 watt rear motor with a 60v 500 watt front motor would be far better. Same overall power and speed on the road but much safer. Especially off-road and on beach sand. When I go beach fishing with my dual 1000w AWD e-bike (to get over the sand dunes) I can never use full power because the front wheel just goes crazy. If it had 1500 watts on the rear and 500 watts on the front I could probably use full power in more situations when needed.

My thoughts on the exposed motor control wire is to make front tire changes safer and easier. Some AWD bikes that route the motor wire in frame don’t give you enough slack and installing a new tube & tire can be tricky. Especially if there’s no disconnect.
By the way, I ordered one for my wife due in large part to the 5 second clip showing your lovely 5’4” wife riding away. My wife is also 5’4”. It’s not easy to find a bike she can safely fit on that will also facilitate ME. Thanks again for all your time and effort making these videos!

I was hoping Citizen would answer my question about Wired vs this. I already have the 2024.0 Wired Freedom, as the Cruiser with suspension didn't exist in November.
I pulled the trigger and gave the $200 for the Pre-order of this bike. I may sell my Wired and my Wallke H6 MAX with 60 Ah, as this bike screams at me that it has nearly everything I want.
Torque sensor is a big plus for me as a person who prefers to pedal. With 4 e-bikes and an e-scooter in the garage, I'm thinking a couple need to go, so my car still fits in...lol
I think this 70 yr old will love this if it performs like Citizen shows. Would be nice if they tucked that front motor cable into the frame as he pointed out.

Almost perfect in my book. I'm used to riding a Radmini hardtail, and it would be great to have this for when I don't need to put a bike in the trunk of the car. I think the Julet connector on the motor wire is why they left it outside. You'd have to remove all the other wires to get that one wire out, and it would be a service hassle. I have those same brake rotors, except in 180mm size. They are floating rotors which center themselves, and that means less drag and fewer adjustments. Traction while hill climbing is the downside of dual motors, and there are mountain bike trails I ride that this could not go on for that reason. Other than that, I love it 🔥🔥

Hey partner, I have the same preorder! I felt that they had the edge over wired and a few others in the same range. I came to find they're more original in their design and manufacture, the usability of the interface is very straightforward, and they had the most specked out parts up to dual 750s. I didn't want to have my motor say more than 750 just in case, so 2x 750s was my "max" and figured the hill climb benefit was there when it was on (100x2 vs 150), and I'd gain economy with the front wheel off - versus a single 1500.

Couple of things. The fender bracing attached to the fork are going to be damaged first. It appears they skimped on the controller. 25-amp controller should be 40amp to 45-amp. Lastly, they should have fed the motor wire through the tube. It would be cleaner and safer for the wire. I do like all the lighting, the rack, and the fork. It's a nice-looking smaller bike that is full suspension. It's great for shorter riders. I think the dual battery trend is going to take off. By giving dual batteries, it gives some relief reference range anxiety. Of course, if you stomp on it and all the time, like my 5.0 Mustang, it's not going to get great range, but it's fun! I think on every dual motor bike you test; you need to do a launch to see if it breaks traction. It's a fun factor that sells bikes! Great review as always!

Another great review Brian. I placed my pre-order on this bike after you came out with your unboxing review. It really does offer all of the top end features I was looking for and the fact that they are adding the 2nd battery option is a big plus. I am 5' 11" and currently ride a 20 x 4 fat tire folding bike. I find the smaller size more nimble and easier to ride than the 26 X 4 tires. I do question why they have the motor cable so exposed. I would seem to increase the possibility of something catching on it and doing some damage. The price point is competitive given all of the features & no shipping fee or sales tax. Their service so far seems to be good as my call was answered on the first try. I ended up speaking to the owner, Lampro who was very helpful and answered all my questions. He has also answered my emails as well. Now I just need to be patient for the August. Do you feel that the stock tires will work ok on off road biking compared to the knobbier tires?

@@rickbarber8399 I bought one of the few models they had left before the preorder. I wanted a bike that was peppy and fast but smaller than my Wired Freedom. This one is just that. It feels like a pocket Wired. I rode my Wired just after it and they feel kind of similar in speeds but this one dusts it on the start. The wheelspin from the torque is nuts, maybe that could get annoying but I am enjoying it and it only happens if you want it to happen. I can control it...I also did it in turn and it wasn't an issue. My one complaint was the packaging was a little light on the sides so it had a scratch right on the downtube, but I am hoping to get some touchup paint.

Anyone considering this that has at least one step they need to go up when putting it away should really think HARD...and maybe test out lifting something that's 110 lbs up that step(s). (I'm figuring just bike + decent chain and lock...it WILL be even heavier than that w/ your gear and Slime in the tires.)
Now consider having to lift it when you've been out riding a few miles and your legs and body are tired from the pedaling/exercise. It gets a LOT harder to do at the end of a ride.
I've got a G-Force ZF moped style ebike (20"x4", 750W) that the website claims is 76lbs...nope. That baby is 100lbs straight out of the box. Add stuff onto it like phone & camera mount, fold-up cargo baskets, the repair tools/tube bag, Slime in the tires, and a lock & chain...and you're looking at well over 120lbs before you even swing your leg over.
And lifting that front wheel up 3 small stairs at the end of a ride sometimes feels like an insurmountable task. Once you get the front wheel up, the throttle can pull the rest of the bike up for you, but just getting that wheel up there first is the problem. There were times where I just parked the bike in front of my porch and had one of my sons bring it up, or I went back out and put it away after I'd rested for an hour or so.
(And then I smartened up and got a motorcycle trailer with a back door ramp to park my bikes in.)

Suspension on this may be better than Wired. But at the tip-top speed (which are the same), I think the Wired feels a little more secure. But this was is more fun to ride at 30 MPH. I honestly flip a coin which one to ride. If you want acceleration, this one eats Wired.

    edit:
you said in the video it weighs 100lbs but i guess that is before you add the second battery.
too heavy as-is considering there is a folding ebike with dual motors around the same weight called the hanevear. this one does not fold yet is the same weight.
weight matters because of weight limits in car e-bike racks. yes you can remove the battery, but not good to match weight carrying capacity rather than being under the cpacity in a moving vehicle.
it’s supposed to be a “small” bike but weighs heavier than say a wired freedom bike. why is that? if i was to go small, it should be lighter so i have more reasons to ride that in place of a wired freedom or an e-cells triple crown five star.
