I explained to my wife the parameters & design. Her guess $150,000 🤣 She was $100,000 off the RIDICULOUS INSANE price to adopt new tech from a new manufacturer 🤯
Just went the pebble website the trailer like this from a couple of years ago. They are still doing preorders. Ie. These things have no consumers to buy them……..
I can see it now when the owner of an EV pickup towing this trailer pulls into a full hookup campground, the campground would have to "charge" an added fee due to the ability of the combo sucking the maximum amount of power the campsites power pedestal can deliver and a few of these plugged in pulling the voltage way down within the RV park and everyone else complaining their air conditioner won't run etc.
Gonna be a bad day when someone wires the hitch force sensor backwards. Going downhill trailer thinks you are trying to speed up and continues to apply power.
It's very nice especially if you drive a rivian, Tesla, Hummer EV personally Ill stick with in tech navigate towed using pro pride hitch with ras road active system mounted to the leaf springs of my V8 truck that setup works synergistically in an amazing way id love to see that setup on one of Andreas' world famous Towing episodes maybe one vehicle with conventional hitch & no ras system & one with the pro pride & the ras system as that combination is capable of preventing accidents & allows you to tow with extreme confidence & stability I'm sure Andre will agree if he does the comparison the difference is huge
I would be shocked if they will last 3 years selling $250,000 trailers too tech billionaires and celebrities. The big problem with the pop up trailers like this and the old Hi-Lo’s is storage for stuff outside the trailer . They did do great on the door and bathroom though.
About 100k more then I thought it would be😂 But it's great to see campers getting more advanced. I'll be a buyer in 20 years at $3000 Still going strong in my 1988 toyota mini cruiser😅
Amusing at best. I never cease to wonder at the $200,000 Mercedes Benz Sprinter vans I see riding on the back of tow trucks or broken down by the side of the road. What the empty vessels with deep pockets don’t understand is that these trailers and vans that cost a quarter of $1 million are about as useful as a screen door on a submarine when they break down. There is an infamous video on RUclips of a couple who bought a Black Series travel trailer and the $100,000 + ‘off-road’ suspension broke in the middle of nowhere - now what? By contrast, I’ve been camping and over landing for over 48-years, and my 25 year old Chevy suburban takes me places I never expected to go, and with some routine maintenance the initial cost of $4000 seems like money well spent.
This is definitely glamping at some of its finest. Listening to them talk about having to set up a camper at 930 at night. Try setting up a 10-person tent at 930 at night.😂😂😂😂
Innovation is great. The RV industry is in serious need of it. I wouldn’t use a trailer because I am a minimalist when it comes to camping and usually just boondock in the back of my truck but why not. We will see how it’s received.
I respect innovation, this is a very cool and unique product and I’ll be happy to see this tech get trickled down to more affordable versions (I hope lol). One thing I find absurd though is that you can’t open your tailgate with it hooked up, that’s a significant oversight that should be changed
So now, not only can you replace a 30k+ battery in your electric truck, but you can replace an equally expensive battery in camper. If neither of them burn to ground of course.
You're doing a fantastic job! Just a quick off-topic question: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
My question is, do any of these larger trailer companies require the buyer to either take a road safety course with the trailer or have proof of safe handling capability, such as a Commercial Driver's License.
What you ask is not the responsibility of the RV manufacturers. It’s something that needs to be legislated & controlled the same as your basic drivers licence is. Not the responsibility of Bob the salesman with no Federal, Provincial or State training or authority to do so. It’s like saying the Semi (highway tractor, lorry) manufacturers are responsible for ensuring they train the buyers how to drive them. 😂.
Great overview and questions, Andre! So if we wanted the Terros version, what would the tongue weight be? Can I tow this with Scout Traveler for example, or something with less towing capacity like a plug-in hybrid midisze truck when they become available?
What a joke ! Tfl Is all about $$$ anymore ,got to their heads, show something possibly affordable and realistic to the average person or family and that's not $250,000 (quarter million $ ) camper to use 2x a year
No one is going to pay for this, let alone be seen in a campground with it. If I want small and portable, I’ll buy a standard pop-up that has less wasted space and is much lighter. For the price of this hideous thing, you can get a normal Travel Trailer AND the ICE truck to tow it.
Yes it’s expensive but it’s new tech and a first. It has a 77kw battery if you bought that as home back up you would spend 45k+ add in a 10kw solar +15k when this gets into the 125k price range it will be a value
I have $10,000,000 to buy one of these money is no object. I may even choose to buy 2 for $50,000,000 what a great deal. The future looks bright!!!!! While im camping i can run a generator 24 hours a day to charge enough to get home. The people nearby will only understand its for the enviroment.
Let’s not be too critical on the price. This is a niche camper for the 1%. It’s by definition isn’t for everyone. But in a few years the technology could trickle down to more affordable campers. Let’s be forward thinking.
stop building shit with the afterthought supporting somone in a wheelchair design it with a wheelchair user in mind last i checkch co2 safety emissions height standard is 8'2"- 8'5" based on 6'1" to 6'5" person
The guy probably died a little inside when andre mentioned pulling it with a diesel truck.
I explained to my wife the parameters & design.
Her guess $150,000 🤣
She was $100,000 off the RIDICULOUS INSANE price to adopt new tech from a new manufacturer 🤯
If you take a live-in trailer, you are not camping.
Just went the pebble website the trailer like this from a couple of years ago. They are still doing preorders. Ie. These things have no consumers to buy them……..
Expensive answers to questions nobody asked....
$250,000 for a trailer?!
Who is the target market for this that won’t just hire someone to deliver a giant trailer to their site for them?
It’s actually Amazon drones . There going to make an announcement soon. They are in testing phase . They are going to be delivering packages soon .
Short answer, hell no.
only 250K ? Is there lay a way
250k?? That's more than I paid for my house lol
Andre will tell you it's a great value, Roman would say that it's nicer than your house, and Tommy will be wondering why he can't afford one.
Same, you can have a nice house for that.
😂@@mpeugeot
nice- they should make the waterline nautical looking going along with the name lightship.
Even before watching the video the answer “no” or “hell no”
I can see it now when the owner of an EV pickup towing this trailer pulls into a full hookup campground, the campground would have to "charge" an added fee due to the ability of the combo sucking the maximum amount of power the campsites power pedestal can deliver and a few of these plugged in pulling the voltage way down within the RV park and everyone else complaining their air conditioner won't run etc.
No sizable pantry for canned goods, cereals, spices and other consumables. Storage in general.
Gonna be a bad day when someone wires the hitch force sensor backwards. Going downhill trailer thinks you are trying to speed up and continues to apply power.
At least they are only making 50 of them
Only 50 of the expensive one cheaper ones will follow
This is epic! The modern caravan made about as fancy as possible
I would be shocked if they will last 3 years selling $250,000 trailers too tech billionaires and celebrities. The big problem with the pop up trailers like this and the old Hi-Lo’s is storage for stuff outside the trailer . They did do great on the door and bathroom though.

So how do you plan to deal with storing that thing for six months at a time and keeping the battery from destroying itself?
I am curious if you can access it in road mode for a quick bathroom break or get a snack without the whole setup.
Is it gonna freeze up and break like every other RV?
A lot of people like to open their tailgate when towing. Also do you have quick access to the restroom?
Innovation is great. The RV industry is in serious need of it. I wouldn’t use a trailer because I am a minimalist when it comes to camping and usually just boondock in the back of my truck but why not. We will see how it’s received.
The telescoping design is great ( first introduced by Hi-Lo), now just get rid of the self-propelled portion and make it 50k.
Kind of expensive for a pop up camper.
I respect innovation, this is a very cool and unique product and I’ll be happy to see this tech get trickled down to more affordable versions (I hope lol). One thing I find absurd though is that you can’t open your tailgate with it hooked up, that’s a significant oversight that should be changed
Yes it looked the guy heard of that issue the first time from Andree. Makes you wonder about the design team’s camping and trailering experience.
The interior design matches my neighbor McDonalds.
Andre was trying to not crap all over thos guys dreams.
Answer is "NO".
Id definitely run a propane tank for cooking and a tankless water heater
With speed the tongue could shorten up and reduce the airgap between the tow vehicle and the trailer
.....this was brutal
fantastic video and I love the trailer!
At that price all of the lights should be phillips hue gradient
The way of the future is coming. Just make it off road capable.
So now, not only can you replace a 30k+ battery in your electric truck, but you can replace an equally expensive battery in camper. If neither of them burn to ground of course.

Recommended paring : That wedge shaped car Elon made.

Commercial driver license? They wouldn’t be able to sell a single large trailer if they would require a CDL. 😃
Great overview and questions, Andre! So if we wanted the Terros version, what would the tongue weight be? Can I tow this with Scout Traveler for example, or something with less towing capacity like a plug-in hybrid midisze truck when they become available?
We could be evolving into a society in which a large proportion of the population lives in their vehicles.
Yeah but not in a $250k vehicle. 😃
@@is6566 Right. Because it seems we are evolving into a society that won't be able to afford to buy BOTH a house and a vehicle.
At this point a lot of people, working people with reasonable education and wages can’t afford to buy either. They rent and drive a total beater.
Pricey but impressive!
What a joke ! Tfl Is all about $$$ anymore ,got to their heads, show something possibly affordable and realistic to the average person or family and that's not $250,000 (quarter million $ ) camper to use 2x a year

Super rich people will get this.

Is this George Jetson's rig ?
If someone has 250k for what I admit is a nice trailer, but why would they care about fuel mileage on the tow rig? I don’t get it.
Never UN subbed before till now
For $250,000 and the screens don’t work for the windows?!?!?!!!
Is the cup of coffee important?
It's tea. He has a sore throat.
I have $10,000,000 to buy one of these money is no object. I may even choose to buy 2 for $50,000,000 what a great deal.

why not 350k they will buy it
Only $250k I’ll take 30
Ugh. Smokecanother one yo! Way complicated, and expensive. Why? Just-why?
250k HAHAHAHAHAHA
250K Get a real RV lol
