  • Set CrossFlight/Mini Pix/PIXHAWK on Helicopter / Episode 4 The First Flight of Helicopter
Hi, today I’m going to introduce Precautions for the first flight of a helicopter.
The debugging of software and hardware is already done in the tutorials before.
Take a computer when you go out to fly it to adjust parameters, and check whether the compass works well because the interference matters a lot for the compass
It is recommended to use a telemetry for parameter adjustment.
There are 2 steps for arming.
1.hold the throttle down and right for more than 4 seconds.
2.After hearing the beeping sound, push the unlock switch, the motor will start rotate.
Besides, you need to know about your flight modes. RadioLink AT9S Pro supports flight modes display on the screen.
Before taking off, please checking the correction direction carefully.
In stabilize mode, hold the helicopter and tilt it to see if the swash-plate moves in the opposite direction.
If any problem, you can check the related tutorials before to solve it.
It is GPS flight mode now.
Experienced pilots can use the stabilize mode to take it off.
Switch to Alt-hold and GPS mode in turn to test it.
Emergency handling: When the compass is interfered, the helicopter will fly in a certain direction. Please switch to Stabilize mode as soon as possible.
This is the video shot with one hand. The helicopter flies smoothly and stably.
Put the transmitter on the ground. Control the helicopter to spin and fly forward and backward with one hand.
It is recommended to install RadioLink CrossFlight on helicopter. That’s all about how to set CrossFlight on Helicopter

When I am in alt hold mode, I am giving 50% throttle to the drone, after that the motor is rotating at its maximum speed and the message of potential throttle loss is coming. Please help me.

    • @Radiolink_official
      @Radiolink_official  Месяц назад

Hi, sir. Do you mean that you didn't make the drone fly up? In Alt-Hold mode, you need to push the throttle a bit higher than the central point (50%) and M435 will slowly take off and keep rising if keep pushing the throttle. When M435 reaches a certain height, it will hover if stop pushing the throttle. Pilots can change directions by rolling, pitching and yawing. It cannot fly up at 50% throttle.
