The finest VFC MP5 review on the Tube. Great work. Love it with the EOTech fitted. That would be where I’d want mine. Plus a SEF navy lower. Thanks for the shoutouts too!
As soon as I get mine, I'm replacing the slap with a real steel one. Shouldn't have as much issue with getting one here in the US, civilian MP5s are pretty plentiful here.
Please don't stop making vids!!! I'm so happy you chose to do a review and full comprehensive breakdown on vfc mp5 it is so useful considering there is not a lot out there on this gun, especially on how to remove the barrel.
Great video as always. I find the VFC MP5 frustrating. They feel great in hands, but all the little issues they come with are disapointing, especially for guy with 2 left hands like me. And the stop on empty system is really a deal breaker for me.
This channel is quickly becoming one of my favorites. I've put your previous video to good use too and now I have a nice winterized WE 416. Regarding to what you mentioned briefly, somewhat ironically the 2nd reason I bought an MP5 was the 3 round burst and well, I never use it. I can just put it on full and fire as many rounds as I want. But mine is a WE, that shitty bolt stop is unacceptable to me. And the mag holding 50% more BBs is also a plus.
@@andstriker Surprisingly good, might just be my luck but to be fair the WE GBBRs I bought this decade has been better than the ones I bought in the previous.
Three round burst, or burst fire in general, is in real life a substitute for training. The Burst setting on firearms is for more untrained soliders. The burst setting allows for an increase of hit probability, at range, without the risk of firing to many rounds, causing recoil to drift the sights to far away from the target, wasting ammo. This whole burst firing process is accomplished on full auto with trigger discipline by a trained and experienced solider.
Love your videos dude! This and Badabing’s recent praise on this gun has pushed me into getting a VFC when I eventually get an MP5. Just seems like the superior option to the WE, and it keeps on getting better as time goes on.
Gun companies need to send you and your buddies all the guns they offer. Watching all your reviews with actual real world knowledge and in-depth internal breakdowns is a breath of fresh air. They use letters that stand for numbers to obfuscate production dates or runs to those out of house or competitors. It's common engineering practise. People might have found out what the codes mean by now, but back then before such information leaked it would help prevent other competitors figuring out production dates or volumes as readily. 👌 It can also be due to some objects or products having larger arrays of numbers for other purposes or model designations, using one or two letters in a couplet makes it easier to differentiate production dates from serial numbers or other identifiers which have to remain numerical. Also if there are multiple producers making the same product the codes can help discern between them 🤔
I had good luck with the Modify X-Range bucking in my VFC MP5 V2. Though I never did a proper comparison between the stock and the X-range, I can subjectively say that it makes the hop more consistent, and also gives better range. Great review btw!
Yeah, the stock buckings on VFCs look good at first, but the material they use is horrible; my friend commented how it felt like a car tire. The Modify buckings seem to be some of the best buckings on the market, imho.
Happy Xmas my friend and thx for this great review 👍 I get confused every time though. you have the same tabletop as me and I always think...uh this is my video😂 Best Bruce
Best part about VFC Mp5's (well I don't know if Version 2 is like this) is that the Version 1 dimensions are 1:1, so replacement parts do not require you to buy from VFC anymore!
Love your reviews and how too's, stoked I found your channel. Would love to an in depth review like this on VFC's MK18 V3 with their latest internals. Only if it sounds like something you would enjoy reviewing and are a MK18 fanboy like myself. Anyway, keep up the awesome work.
This is something that I heard from Ian McCollum, who ran a G3 at Finnish Brutality this year. A problem with at least the G3 is that you can insert a fully-loaded magazine on a closed bolt, but the strength of the spring requires you to give it a good smack in order for it to seat right. Easy enough to do while standing, but in other stances (especially prone) it's just easier to do The Slap.
why does most of this feel like deja vu to me? The table, the attachments, the shooting range, the field, why do i feel like Ive seen these before? Even these words?! I feel I'm reliving it.

6:30 that jig holds your sight post in as correctly stated in the review - my jig backed out during operation and some how pushed my Cocking Tube End cap out during operation. Overall it looks cool, but only because they were licensed from the original manufacturer at Hk. It's an airsoft gun and it's very unfortunate there are so many cheap parts to be replaced and or repaired for dependable use, especially for the price. As with many of you, my time is valuable too. The selling point should an awful lot less.
The spring to push out the stock in the central hub can wear the lock position on the aluminium fork. I recommend removing the spring and tab. Great video! Looking forward to your G3 review.
Damn that's badass. I wish LCT made gas versions of their guns, especially the AK-12. Idk if this is true but I've heard LCT outright uses real steel parts where legally allowed on their guns, such as furniture, pins, dust covers, etc. And where real steel parts arent legal or deviate in function, they still match the exact same manufacturing process. Though I don't have an actual AK-12 to compare it to, comparing my LCT AK-12 to a real steel civvie AK, the stamped steel parts are damn near indistinguishable and the gun's total weight is just about the same (HEAVY AS FUCC).

Mind me asking where you got your A2 Stock from? I've bought several from different websites at $50-75 a pop, and the end cap which slides inside the stock never seems to compress the recoil spring sufficiently to return the bolt carrier. Only putting the original stock back on will return it. Is there an aftermarket end cap I need for the A2 Stock conversion? I am at my whit's end trying to source it. Thanks for the great review!
Just a quick note; while I have limited experience with the MP5, to my understanding, you had to lock the bolt back because a full magazine (30 rounds) would be much more difficult to lock in place in the magazine well if the bolt isn't back. That's why I figure the old "charge back once the new magazine is in" is so rare. Saw in the video that you used a downloaded mag. If possible, would you mind correcting me? Thanks. Genuinely curious!
The magazine was actually fully loaded for demonstration specifically to address that issue; it may look downloaded because the snap caps are hard to see on camera. German-made MP5 mags are capable of loading to 31, with the idea being that you load to 30 and have a bit of extra room so that it can, if necessary, seat on a closed bolt (as well as avoiding fully compressing the springs). It is difficult, but doable, and if you don't apply force (or slap to confirm) the magazine may simply fall out. As far as the German policy-makers were concerned, it was better to have a manual of arms that is easy to teach and leaves no room for error than one which is theoretically faster.

Hi! Awesome video. Thank you! Are you familiar with the Devilhunter mod? Modding M4 green gas mags to take liquid CO2...Do you think the MP5 green gas mag could handle such mode? Could the stock nozzle handle the CO2? Thank you!
DevilHunter modding /only/ works with GHK mags because of how their reservoirs are designed, with green gas mags using nearly the same reservoirs as CO2 mags. If you put CO2 in a normal green gas mag, it is likely to fail catastrophically and with significant risk of injury. All that to say no, definitely not- if you really want CO2, VFC makes CO2 mags for the MP5.
@@ExplosiveEnterprises well, i have DH-modded GHK M4 mags and they work perfectly, no issues...DH mod allows to fill more CO2 in the mag than a 12g CO2 cartridge is...more shots per 1 fill= affordable in the long run...So i was wondering if i could mod the VFC green gas mags to simply continue use my CO2 refill setup. Since i have no experience with the MP5 mags yet, and can't find anything similar (except of HPA mod) done. I was wondering if it could work- would the valves hold up, the gasket on the bottom of the mag and the mag shell? I might try it out...just hope the stock nozzle can handle CO2 and that the knocker is strong enough to open the output valve...anyways, thanks for the answer :) keep up the great work :)
