Everyone that makes fun of 22lr gives off small dick energy. I can’t tell if they are trolling or are really that stupid and uneducated/inexperienced when it comes to firearms.
Imagine in the zombie apocalypse your down on your luck and there a 100 zombie horde moving in and all you have is a empty silenced .22 and you stumble on this can.
Imagine your family dying, because the bullets were damaged by dumping them into a bulk container, from the safe (relatively) storage of their packing box! How stupid!
This is all I stock up on. It works in all my guns. Yeah I get the desire for copper plated projectiles. But this stuff has been reliable and available for me.
That 325 match is utter garbage, atleast my marlin model 60 hates that stuff, a lot of non dentionaions, squibs etc and got the action super dirty real fast, 209 in and would need a cleaning...Switched to aguila super extra copper plated and have not looked back. Mini mags for squirrel hunting or if I'm wanting a tight group that day.
Im never buying federal.22 again. Bought a 525 round box for abt $35. It’s wildly inconsistent. Some are too hot some don’t cycle the gun and some don’t shoot at all.
My last box of cheap federal was pretty inconsistent on powder loads. Lots of elevation variance. Tried a box of Winchester super X, powder load was better but pattern was shit. When I can find it CCI standard velocity is the way to go.
I'd only mix loose ammo like this if all the boxes were the same lot number. Cut the lot number out and save it, too. Don't mix and match lot numbers in case you experience significant failure rates or worse.
@@brassmule most likely will be, since whatever is on the shelf came off the same crate, maybe even the same case. As long as you bought all that at one store at one time. Most of the 9mm and .223 cases i get are loose rounds anyway so not much choice.

I bought 4 boxes at the same time at Wally World last week, and just checked them. 2 had the same lot numbers, and two had... no lot numbers? It's not even that they misprinted outside the LOT box, it's just not printed at all. Very weird. Not what I expected. But yeah I wouldn't loose mix those two boxes with the other two just to be sure. I keep them in the cardboard in .50 cal cans anyway.
@@brassmule my tx22 was running great untill recently, idk whats wrong. It will cycle a round in the chamber evertime but sometimes the firing pin wont strike when i pull the trigger, and the trigger break feels and sounds weak. It happens about 50% of the time since it started happening.
@joegobelko9965 Eley. It comes out of the UK, and so far, it is the best I have used. It comes in many different grades, depending on the application. It is not cheap.
I usually keep them in the box and stack them in my ammo box but each there own..just makes it easier for me to take few diffrent calibers to the range..
Ohhhh yeah that’s best for different calibers. Many people do what he does and just keep individual cans for a designated caliber. Take all boxes from a storage at home and put them in these cans and take these cans out to the range with you.

So I’d only need one box for the range. Simpler times. I bring the ammo can specific for my firearm caliber nowadays . I don’t store loose ammo in a lot of these cheapo boxes. They say they are low quality, and they are, but they are high quality for my range use. I will load a ton of magazines full, and put them in these cans for range use later. Basically I have a metal can full of loose ammo, and a plastic can full of loaded magazines.(and a speed loader) I prefer to store loose ammo inside a higher quality metal ammo can , just a preference. I think the loose ammo is very heavy in comparison to just a box of loaded magazines. I don’t wanna stress out what’s like, honestly already some glorified flimsy plastic container

Worse way to store ammo, lead and brass are dissimilar metals,, think about it, what army ever has stored ammo loose 🤔 not one,, ever,,, , cheap ammo is package cheaply, it's not that one should follow ignorance and pay it forward,,, sure it's looms cool to have lots of ammo, but how about boxed up, and added up,, how much is there in that, and as you shoot it are you keeping tabs on what's left,, store your ammo with respect, in box's, in containers or a cabinet, this is sad, if my father ever saw me doing this he would not talk to me again

For some reason my rifle just didn’t like it, it would jam or split the round in half 5% of the time. When you hold the round, the tip even feels loose. Maybe I just got a bad batch?
I have somwhere around 8,000 .22LR in ammo boxes I also have about the same nomber of .22mag also in ammo boxes I had before putting them in the boxes had put them in some of those vacuum seal bags of 100 rounds with one of those little bags 😊of silecato take out mosture I have done the samy wi my other ammo and spare parts so I can have dry ammo and rust free pary

Just put the sealed boxes in the van. Add some silica packs. Store in cool, dry place. They’ll last for 75 years.
