Wonderful tips! When I have 12 x 12 patterned paper that I do not like, if it is white on the reverse, I use those for envelopes. Works great. Think you for the great suggestions.
This was my thought too. Even using different colors of vellum papers to tone down big and bold. Also, cutting big bold paper into strips or squares and spacing them apart so as break up the overly bold paper. It gives the eyes a place to rest. 😊 Great video
Great ideas! Another great option, similar to the die cut one, is to use paper punches, or turn the paper into strips or other shapes to then create a different design. And donating unwanted paper to thrift stores or other organizations is never a bad idea - or have a craft supply trading party with friends - “one crafter’s trash, is another crafter’s treasured find”!
Great ideas, Jess! I love the partial inking idea. Never thought of that. Collaging over part of the paper is another way I like to use those bold prints as well as die cutting like you did. Totally changes the look. TFS❤
Great ideas.😊
Definitely can use these tips, thanks Jess!

Great suggestions. One way I tone down busy patterns is place vellum over it.

Wow awesome ideas. Cause I usually stick them to the side and ignore them but you did a beautiful job showing how to use them.
