Jenny, I discovered your RUclips channel a couple of weeks ago and have been having fun binge watching your videos! I, too, can’t resist Michael’s paper pads and also have stacks and stacks of 12x12 paper pads that I’ve collected over the past 30 years. I use a lot of paper but I buy paper pads faster than I than use them. They are just so beautiful! I especially love your Chop It Up Series. I’ve been doing this for the past couple of months and it’s such a great way to make beautiful cards with little effort and really use up that stash. Thank you for sharing your great creative ideas!💗

What a timely video! 😊 My grown son recently suggested that I make a set of cards for people like him, that have birthdays and other occasions that they will need a card for but don't really want to stop and shop for one. (He always asks me to make cards for him to use.) This will be a perfect addition to a set like that. I love the layouts you created and have saved this video so I can refer to it when I get started. I've been looking for a long time, and finally ended up with a 12 inch T ruler, but it's to long and awkward to use. The problem is that it's not created in a word document. So the font size depends on the sides of your printable area. Typically in a word document size 18 to 24 should fit nicely across the front of an a2 size card base.

    • @JennyCardDesigns

A tape runner is a solid strip of adhesive, whereas a dot Liner has little tiny dots instead of a full solid line of adhesive. I prefer the dot liner. It's more forgiving if you want to peel things up or rub extra adhesive away. It's really super easy!
