This censor deserves a little credit for actually being kind of cool with Conan.
It looked like it sat deep inside of him x) Especially when he cursed.

Thing about censors is they're not the ones who are uncomfortable with things, they just have to know what they can get away with doing without pissing off the sponsors
The bit was set up in a nice way where Conan has laid out a bunch of situations where the censor can actually approve everything pretty much nothing he showed was rejected which is a first I've seen for a comedy show involving a censor
Conan's main objective was to make his censor very uncomfortable.

This was such a great sketch to open up the new show. Tokyo sandblaster had me cracking up so hard. Tom Hanks as the first guest was huge too. If only they could find Forss Fagerstrom to bring on the show my life would be complete.

I watched this live, & I was dying over the "Mr Falcon" bit.
I first saw that tbs edit as a kid in the late 90's/early 00's, & even at that age it was hilariously bad. It became an infamous inside joke with my family. And then Conan roasts them for it. Priceless.

This was the first episode I ever watched or him. I never thought he was funny and that was based souly on his walkout and dance for his show before I'd shut it off . Then I watched this and thought he's kindle funny then clicked on the next RUclips show ft Jordan Schlanskie and I've been binge-watching ever since . 13 months sure does fly by when your laughing none stop. I remember Conan doing a sketch with a guy in the audience being offended at a joke , and when he stood up , he had assless pants on. And this was like at least 15 years ago. And I am almost POSITIVE that this was the same guy.
Die Hard 2 has the best dubbing ever. I remember making fun of it when it aired. When this episode of Conan aired I thought, “FINALLY this ridiculous dubbing is being addressed!” I mean, the voiceover guy has a foreign accent.
