The second case is something I hope I never go through because I love my freedom and for a man to take that simple human right away is inhumane. At this point its impossible for him to change and it seems like the mom has gotten used to his controlling ways. I hope that he can be able to loosen up somewhat because I feel really sorry for the wife and mother she sounds like such a sweet and nice person.

I feel so sorry for the mom because her life with him seems to have been torture if she cries whenever she talks about it.

I almost cried watching the second case. My dad was in the army too, and he has a bit of a tough attitude but its not as bad. But people have to realizethat being in the army and serving during a harsh period in the army can change people a lot more than we realize. I hope that the mom is able to get her freedom back, it just broke my heart when she was singing you could feel the pain.

The mother in the second concern is so precious, she deserves the whole world and more, I hope things get better for her in this life or her next life :( There have been many hurt mothers in this show but this one was the saddest... how she still smiled, how frailly she talked, how she was holding it all in... it's so unfortunate and upsetting 😔

At 1:03:51 it seems like Hongbin's hands are shaking out of nervousness that there's even writing on the screen for it, but being a Starlight who tends to bias Bean quite a lot (even tho Hyuk is my bias) I've seen his hands shake intensely like that so many times - while mc-ing on the show, at fansigns, on TV shows etc :/ hopefully it's nothing bad

Never ignore warning signs early on. Women have great instincts and they ignore them routinely in part because society tells us how crucial it is to be partnered up. It's important to try and stay on top of your feelings and not let yourself be blinded by love. People will show you who they are in time, don't think you can change them.

And at this point is likely thinking - it's been 43 years, might as well keep going this way since it's going to end soon anyway. And that is just the most awful, depressing way I can possibly think of to end up in at the twilight of my life; anyone's life. Just terrible.

elvegadrobaby Exactly, but those comments may have been edited out because the celebrities' companies may not allow for such controversial/strong statements. But I really believe that the common man would be able to speak much more frankly and brutally than the celebrities can on national television, which is why I said that. That father needed a really honest talking-to, although I can tell he may be one of those people who just can't see reason no matter how logically you present it.
+TabooTalz to be honest, I've never heard of companies being involved in the editing process of a tv show in korea. hello counselor did an episode with Shinhwa (2013) and basically edited all the good stuff (for a serious concern) and made Shinhwa look bad to the public. that was an example of how selective the editing team was with the material. Can't exactly fault the agencies when the guests' screentime is edited poorly.

I feel so bad for the mother who has to live with a dictator husband the past 43 years who thinks he is living as an army soldier even when at home .... it feels so hurtful just seeing how the mother forcefully smiles when she is hearing all the nonsense from the husband... especially so when she's singing the song that so aptly depicts her life :( this reminded me so much of my grandfather, who has passed away.... he is soft inside but also cannot express his love to his wife and my grandmother worked so hard, she fell ill.... he cried really hard when she left. which is why i really agree with what Miyoun said about embracing your family when they are there.
