The daughter in the first concern needs love and support. When you reach for food as a way to cope with stress and negative emotions, it's almost impossible to get someone like that to change through personal attacks or harsh words. Work out with her, cook healthy dishes together, let her know that while yes, it's nice to look nice on the outside that it's much more important to be healthy and do your part to live a long life for your children and other loved ones. I hope her mom understands where she's coming from and changes her approach.

The mom in the 1st concern shouldn't force her to go on a diet, the decision must come from her. I was once called fat and always told to go on a diet but I was happy and comfortable about my figure that time. Time and a good motivation will come and she would make a decision herself, like what happened to me in early March 2016 as I was watching a music video of my kpop idol Apink specially Hayoung, the thought of accidentally meeting them came to me even if it is less than 0.01% then that time I made a decision to go on a healthy lifestyle making Apink my inspiration and motivation, before I was 86kg and as of August 15, 2016 I am 62kg and planning on maintaining 60 kg. Thank you very much Apink.... saranghe ^_^
Her weight is actullay unhealthy but she shouldn’t be forced to do anything because that can actullay add weight and is really unhealthy. I have to say though the girl needs to loose weight as it can cause problems for her in the future. I just hope that the mum will change her ways and the girls starts trying. Instead of eating when she’s negative she should start running or doing some form of exercise.

I will say two things on last concern. You can't hurt a person sentiments while pretending to care for animals it's like in India they kill people for eating beef..
Secondly it feels like he is using dogs as a defence mechanism to call off this wedding I can understand addiction or affection for something but even that follows the patterns of your wallet.

That's what I was thinking tbh. It'd make SO much more sense.
There is no need for him to take those dogs everywhere, even if the apartment is small its probably similar or bigger than the salon. A good solution would be for him to leave his dogs at home and maybe bring one to work if he really needs to be that close to them OR invest in a bigger salon and hire more staff so he can step out and it doesnt ruin the business. But regardless he is too blinded by his obsession for these dogs. I dont think they should get married anytime soon and try to work it out. After that if he still cant open his heart for her she gotta bounce.
I think she already made that decision to bounce when they asked her point blank would she still marry him and she didn't reply.
It was so sweet and funny when San E called Biji pretty and she went straight over to him and melted in his arms. That's just the effect he has on all women (and girl dogs)
The comments saying the mom in the first concern is the devil incarnate haven't come in yet. Good. She's wrong for speaking to her daughter so harshly but she NEEDS to lose weight. I've seen too many people eat themselves to death to be comfortable with her gaining weight. Her mother said she couldn't get pregnant with a 2nd child because of her weight and that's rude but she really shouldn't be thinking about a second child with that much extra weight on her. It'd be bad for her and her baby.
The mother should stop nagging and see if her daughter will lose weight. Right now, she has an excuse for eating too much and not exercising. If her mother leaves her alone, hopefully she'll start to realize it's partly her fault and start exercising. Chewing more and eating smaller portions also does help. In the waiting room, she finished half of that snack in one bite!
I hope she can lose weight. Her husband seems nice and her child needs her.
Yeah but she's doing it in a horrible way that's only going to damage her daughter's self esteem and probably only encourage weight gain. Regardless, no mother should speak to their child the way that mom does. That's bullying. If she wanted to help her, she'd be there for her, encouraging her and giving her the love she needs to lose the weight, because losing weight isn't easy. If you want your child to quit smoking because it's bad for their health, you don't constantly berate them until they hate themselves, you lend them your help and support and express that you care about them and don't want to see them die.
That mom was pretty shitty. And saying that she's EMBARRASSED of her own child is gross.
+지설 Yeah she's being mean. Maybe it's because I've never cared what people cared about me (family included) but she started gaining weight as a grown woman. Her mother's comments shouldn't bother her that much but I'm a different kind of person.
I just hope her mother stops so she can stop using that as an excuse. She really needs to get healthy for her son and stop caring about her mother's opinions.

I want to give Yumi a hug so bad! 💗 When her mother started talking about being embarrassed of her I just want someone to tell her that you don't have to stick with your family. I cut my mother out of my life 3 years ago and it's the most positive thing that I have ever done for myself 💗

According to the daughter's bmi, she is considered class 2 obesity, her mom is too harsh and rude, that's true, but her daughter does need to lose weight in order to be healthy first, pretty comes second, because she looks cute anyway
I also think that losing weight is good for her. But she is right too.. The person have to want to lose weight on her own will. Her.mother is too harsh. My heart hurts because she said she's embarrased of her daughter because she's fat.
Dude in the last concern should just open up a dog salon or dog cafe cause obviously he loves dogs more than humans.

My mother was like that too...my brother is obese and I have a pretty normal weighl...but she permanently nagged about it and I am no so disgusted by meat, oily food and pasta..I lost 10 kg (49kg) and I wasn't happy with it because I was too thin...now I weigh normal again and am so happy...I totally understand the mother, she has Seen her daughter being fit but yumi is happy she has no problems and As long she isnt physically in danger, it should be alright

She can't sit naturally and doesn't seem to be able to run. I think it's ok to have a bit extra weight as long it doesn't hinder you and effect your health. Even though I think Yumi is cute, I think she must loose weight because of her child. It's not good for her health to be that big and it's not fun for her child to have a parent that is not being able to play with you. Also...but this is in a deeper level...I've a disease that sometimes make my joints swell and hurt. I can't do anything to avoid this disease. I try to eat healthy and take my medication, but other from that I can't do much. I get so extremely disappointed when people don't try to eat more healthy. I was almost there myself when I was younger in my teens (I've hormon problems as well) but I fought it. I still try to not gain weight. It's important. You can still eat...you just have to watch what you eat. Save the really good stuff for special occasions and eat slowly. Enjoy your food. I easily gain weight but still I'm not fat. I'm not skinny either, but I'm normal and can wear normal sized clothes. Don't loose hope.

The last concern is kind of tragic but super funny especially at the end when the guest hosts are trying to talk to him and he ignores them to play with his dog.

the girl in the 3rd concern needs to realise that the dogs will always come first for him. He loves her but not that much and i don't think getting rid of two of the dogs is the best solution he should just try to take care of her more. the only choices she has is to either accept that she's 2nd after the dogs and marry the guy or to realise that the dogs matter more than her and call off the engagement.

I kind of understand the mother in the first concern, her daughter does need to lose weight, but she's far too harsh about it. She could mention every so often in a supportive manner, that the daughter should try to lose weight, but saying she's embarrassed of her is too much. People need support in order to be able to do things.
Besides, don't you find that whenever someone nags at you to do something, even if you were going to do it before they said, you immediately lose all will to do that thing. It's a bit of pride/stubbornness that means you want to be the one to make that decision. If others try to make it for you, you just get annoyed and all of a sudden it's the last thing you want to do. The mother is not helping, especially since it's been years and the daughter clearly isn't going to listen, so she should at least consider changing tactics.

While I agree that the mum nags a bit, I think its important to take care of your health including body fat. Whether overweight or not, even slim/skinny people sometimes have 'skinny fat'. Losing weight is nice to look good, but its also a health issue.

I felt so sad for the girl in the first concern, and while she is overweight she is still a beautiful woman. Her mother shouldn't come down so hard on her to make her feel like she is not a person tho, because she is still a human being that deserves respect. Instead of being so cruel she should help her daughter and encourage her more even if it seems like she is not listening. It's better to work with a person than against them. The daughter shouldn't feel so stress and unimportant, she has to know that her family still cares about her....only then will she feel more comfortable and attempt to make a change for her own life and lose weight so she can live a healthier lifestyle for her husband & son.

I find it ironic in this episode and other episodes where they try to counsel the people who are over weight or not good looking to have more confidence and to lose their insecurities. I thought it was ridiculous for the hosts to justify the family members by telling the individual not to take it to heart/face value the harsh things that are said or when they are told they are "embarrassed" of them. They say all these things and half way through this episode, they have an update from the boy who works nonstop because of his parents; gushing how handsome he is and now he is a trainee. The male guest summed it up: "it's all about looks".
the mom in the first concern is mean and doesn't have an excuse for what she's doing to her child. I understand her daughter is overweight and needs to loose some weight but it's plain wrong to say you're embarassed of your OWN CHILD when you go out just because of her looks. I pity people with these kind of parents. my mom is not the supportive type and she can be mean sometimes but not to the extent of being embarassed for my looks.
About the last concern, I don't think they should stay together because those dogs are like his children and I know exactly how he feels, the unconditional love for his dogs, and she can't stay with him as long as he pays more attention to the animals but there's no way he can give them up
Those animals probably love him and are loyal to him, they'd be so hurt if he gave them up like that

The mother in the first concern was right, She worried about her daughter's health and about how people look at her but she's way too harsh. I understand how the daughter feel cuz my mom nag me everyday to lose weight too when I'm not even that fat.
if we were to be concern about someone's weight, it would be because of the possible health risks, not because of their "figure". some mothers don't deserve to be one, really.

I can understand the mother in the first concern.. the hosts and Guest in the panel don't know her daughter or her habits but the lady knows very well that her Daughter is lazy is just using those emotions to stay away from workout and efforts to control her weight. Even when she was in the waiting area the first thing she grabbed is a food item which clearly indicates that she don't have any self control and becoming obese day by day.. this was wrong from the panel to criticize the mom when she is clearly the one who is forcing her daughter to change.

For the last couple, I'm glad the women chose to appear before she got married. There are those couples that show up as a ultimatum for divorce for a problem before marriage. She made the right choice

Why doesn't the last guy be flexible about his business? Why can't he open a dog salon or some shop related to dogs so he can be with his dogs AND earn money? And what's the use of him marrying her if he doesn't want to be with her?
