Korean celebrities(especially kpop idols)dye their hair and wear coloured lenses all the time so why is it a problem when someone has natural blond hair and blue eyes???
That's true if celebrities do it its fashion and trend but if someone has natural looks like that they treat them as an alien what's wrong in having blond hair and blue eyes many are born naturally like that even if their parents dont have blue eyes or blond hair when they see foreigners with blue eyes and blond hair they are fascinated by their beauty shes a korean does not mean she has to look like typical Asian many asians have blue eyes or other color like green that dosent mean they are abnormal or different infact their eyes look so beautiful
Taejoon is perfect for Hello counselor, he is very warm to all the guests, plus his young aproach feels like a breath of fresh air! They made a great choice on making Taejoon a usual host ^^ Taejoon shi, Fighting! Keep up the good work!
etroxon guys i figures out how we can all have endless money.... just put 5 dollars in a jar every time helloe counselor has an alcoholic concern or a bad husdband concern. our savings are going to be so fucking massive guys.... watchu mean debt? i need not know the word.
Same! I feel like we needed a younger MC to balance things out a bit and he's perfect! I like that he gets just as angry as we do about some of the concerns! 😂
as much as (some) asian people use blue contacts, dye their hair blonde, and are desperate for pale skin, I don't see why they're worried about an albino human. And they're not stupid... The adults should know what albinism is & educate their children. I can only imagine what some of the ignorant ones say about people with naturally dark skin.
michael Carrero So that gives people a right to mock her & treat her like an exhibit? I'm not going to make an excuse for adults acting immature. Especially over something as simple as someone looking different from them. Some of the people that teased her KNEW what albinism is.. and still went forward with it. So no excuses from me
Azyah C when did it say that adults where mocking her? Did I miss something because I mostly saw that she said it was little kids or students...people know what albinism is but it's not something that is common so of course people would stare.
michael Carrero Sorry for saying adults then (like it makes it any worse)... Still not going to make an excuse for it. There's a difference between staring and then taking a pictures of someone without consent & acting entitled to it like you're at a zoo. I'm not going to justify anything they did to her. Regardless of age. I don't like bullying, period. (And I'm not going to sit here and believe that there hasn't been ANY adult that's mocked her whether publicly or discreetly..)
Especially in Korea? Sure some Koreans can be extreme but North Americans can be the same. Growing up in small town in NA, being Asian, you are almost treated the same.
I agree with you 100% it's just not meanness runs deeper than that. If we took the time to educate ourselves on diversity accepting another person/race of their differences you wouldn't have a problem of ignorance. We aren't born that way ignorance is a learned behavior.
Yeah..... I lost contact with my friends when I was 7, and haven't spoke to them since. ( my parents took me out of school) Since then, I was inside all the time, sometimes even for days in a row. I became insecure about a lot. I was already shy, but ever since I lost my friends, I became even quieter. I was always really lonely, and after a year or so, I started getting depressed. From around 8 or 9, till now, I would have so many suicidal thoughts, and even held a knife to my wrists, neck, stomach etc. while crying. (I never actually hurt myself though, cause I was too scared.) I was told hurtful things by people that are close to me; like " if you want to kill yourself, do it. You should've done it already! " "You were a mistake and I wish you were never born. " "You're the reason for all the arguments that happen." "I have always liked your younger sister more than you, that's why I spend more time with her, and give her things; and besides, she doesn't cause everyone's problems like you do. " They say things like that , and it hurts my heart and makes me even more depressed, especially hearing it from someone who is close to me. I long to have friends so much, and I want to go out and have fun, but I can't because my parents won't let me see some of my friends, they won't let me have a phone, ( I am a teenager) and they won't let me go out.😭 I wouldn't be as lonely if I got along with my family, but I don't really. I want to be close with my sister, but we always end up arguing, and she spends all day on her phone, and she gets angry at me when I enter the room she is in. (She would either shout, hit, or kick me.) I also want to have a good relationship with my parents, but sadly, I don't get along with them either.😢 I just want to enjoy my life and I want to be happy again, like I used to be. It feels like my young life is slipping away. I just want to have friends and happiness.😭🙏 Now it's gotten to the point where I am concerned for my health. I started getting a lot of headaches and started doing tics with my head and mouth, because of the stress. I started having pain in my joints, my hands, my legs and feet, my hips, my neck, my back, my head, and my chest. I would get short of breath alot, and have come close to losing it completely. ( I would be in a state of panic, I would be crying, and I would feel dizzy, and I would just be on the floor gasping for breath, barely being able to get air in and out.) I don't know what to do; I want to get rid of the pain, I think it is getting serious, I mean, I almost stopped breathing over 10 different times. Why can't I just be happy and have no pain in my body? I am so young.😭 ( btw, it's not that I haven't had fun days since I became depressed, I have, they are just quite rare. There have been times when I was happy, but it doesn't last long. Not long after, like in the evening, or the next day, I would feel a deep pain and sadness in my heart, but I would still try to smile. Out of 365 days, I only spend an average of 12-13 days of the year, talking, or being with people my age, or people other than my family.)
me when I was reading the title: *scrolls upon it* me: oh a new episode who's in it....Choi He....Jun.k ...... Jun.k ???...... OMFG JUN.K !!!!! *fan girl squeals* I love Jun.k guys...
For anyone who didn't get Taejoon's cringey ass joke at 17:13, he asked her what's her bloodtype (bloodtype = hyeol aek HYUNG) and then he was like "I didn't know you were AB type (AB hyung), I thought you were a doll (in hyung)"
I loved the boy in the last story. He’s a good kid! He’s just being... well... a kid, and not thinking though the consequences of his actions. He’s still young, and eventually he’ll learn :)
+michael Carrero ..It's obviously more serious in Korea. There's a chance you would get turned down for a job for being not attractive enough and it's part of your resume to put your picture. High school students get plastic surgery as graduation gifts to get ready for college. Foreigners or anyone who looks different than "normal" Koreans will be stared at, stopped on the streets, or even randomly sworn at.
rueexxi I don't know where you are getting your "research" done but your so wrong. Foreigners aren't treated badly in Korea yeah they may get stared at but everyone who looks diffrent in any place will be stared at. And almost every company or business all around the world has some kind of image that they are looking for in employee if the employee has something in there physical apperance that they don't like then they'll fire you or won't give you the job so the company isn't "affected"
I was really disappointed at the beginning when the hosts were advising the first concern to change her appearance so that society will accept her. She shouldn't have to hide herself in fear for the rest of her life. She is such a gem, it's a loss for any guy that rejects her.
The girl from the first concern is really an inspiration in my view. I really think she should start thinking like that - to have bad eye sight and to put up with all that from the public and STILL b steadfast in achieving her dreams is SUCH a huge inspiration. I really wish that someone on the show told her that, but I hope she reads the comments so she can be made aware that it's something she can turn to something positive. This way it will also spread awareness!
The boy in the last concern seems so fun. A little irresponsible, but still fun. I'm around the same age as him & I never leave my house lmao. It's good that he has friends & is making memories while he's young. I wish I could do that. If only I had friends 😂
I wonder for the first concern, why the teacher would not step in and educate the Kids how to behave themselves and what albinism and so on is. I new that in my class someone had leucemia and the teacher told us what it is etc. So we respected that kid back then.
thats the sad truth in schools of korea, bullying is such a huge thing... if teachers would step up on the bullying, they could lose their job due the complains of the parents ( the one who bullies other ), since they are mostly the "rich ones" doing... the korean school system is very corrupt and everythings about good grades, good looks and money
Korea's school system is pretty fucked up. Excuse my language. South korea's suicide rate in unbelievable, & bullying in school is related to that. It's so unfortunate. Because if you go to Korea there is certain standards set for females. A chubby person with little fat in our eyes would look obese to theirs & I'm hot hating but their society is driven by standards and if you dont look a certain way people will put you down. It's really sad. I just wanted to reach out to the woman in the 1st concern. People are seriously so unbelievably rude.
+Hye Mi Kang Yeah I understand, it is indeed sad! But what we did back then, was that we sat in a circle and talked about cancer in general. The teacher did not pick on individuals. Also there was a school psychologue and the sessions were free. So if you had a concern you could just go and talk to them
+gDragthaTbitCh. Yeah also in Switzerland suicide rates are pretty high too, in fact today I heard that a friend of my brother comitted suicide. And he was about 18 years old. But what I am curious about is if you live in korea or have lived there yourself? 😶
Wow, I never would've thought the school system in Korea is *that* bad that the teachers could lose their job for defending bullied children. I can only hope the situation improves.
the first concern, she's freaked awesome! whole everyone tries to have blonde hair and she has it naturally. I pray that she will gain strength to embrace her uniqueness and become brave someday.
The first concern wow idk what to say. I wonder how her schools tried to handle the bullying if at all. I remember a boy entered our class in like 2nd grade and the teacher told us he had tourettes and explained what it was and that even though there is something a bit different about him he still deserves respect etc.Its better than leaving the kids to their own imagination. Maybe if someone stepped in and educated them it could have made her school days easier. But idk im just glad she still came out strong, ambitious and really damn funny lol i loved her date with Taejoon ^^
17:57 *OMG 🤣 This fellow sister is hella funny. She’s really made my day bless her! Anyone would be very lucky to have her has family/friends. At least she’s not boring!*
whenever i watch the concerns of mothers and then see how alot of them bottle up their feelings i cant help but think of my own mother who must also feel like these mothers to some extent.
This program show us the korean people is such a bully person, of course not everyone is like that but many people in korean are mean, they should respect each other no matter how the person is, respect is everything
Im kind of shocked that the first concern only got 105 votes. you mean half of the people didnt think it was a concern for her? To be called names and have your pictures taken by random strangers isn't a concern?
First Concern that remind me of my friend! She also have albinism! The first time i met her at bus during my first year college! I notice peoples keep staring at her at time! Then i pretend to ask direction to her! While i was talking to her i told her that she have really beautiful blue eyes! She cried & she said no one said that to her before! Since then we become a good friend for 10 years now! Before i met her i don't know what is Albinism but she taught me what it is and learned about it! Second Concern: I agree with first daughter! Hopefuly he go to rehabilitation center! I'm not korean and never been in S.Korea but i just wondering if in S. Korea have Alcohol Rehab Center? Third Concern: I think he is a good son but i just hope even for one day or one of weekends they should have Family outing! Cuz it's look like his younger sister don't anything to his brother since he always gone! Also to his mom!
Same thing happened with my family. My dad refused to stop drinking after we tried to help him for 7 years. So we left. He was causing us too much pain and it wasn't worth it anymore. You can't help someone, who doesn't want help.
That's the problem of an homogenous society, everyone is so used to their sameness that they demonize differences. When you are in a country that has so many different people, early on parents know they have to teach their children to except that not everyone looks the same and you shouldn't make fun if they so. Of course people still are cruel, but its not exceptable and folks are prone to speak up if they see it happening.
I don't think it's a problem because of how "homogeneous" a society is its Beacuse it's something really diffrent. I mean even in the United states I'm sure if people saw an albino they would stare just Beacuse it's not common and probably the first time they see something like that.
+michael Carrero but most people would have the tact to recognize it as albinism, a genetic disorder due to the inheritance of recessive alleles from both parents, and LOOK AWAY. Most Koreans don't really have that; if they see something different, they will STARE and openly talk about it in front of you.
+michael Carrero why do you keep defending the people in the wrong? You've replied to almost every single thread pointing out how messed up it is to make fun of someone for the way they look. Albinism may not be common and you may not see it very often, but we have the freaking internet now. We have countless resources at our disposal for the purpose of education, all at our fingertips. Stop justifying superficiality and ignorance. Under any circumstances, the behavior of the people who made fun of that woman was unacceptable.
You are right...there are some drawbacks to having a more homogeneous country, and my guess is being less good at understanding/tolerating/accepting difference is perhaps one of them. Although I agree to an extent with Michael when he questions to what extent reactions of people in a more heterogeneous country like the US would differ. I think it also depends on education level and the way people are raised.
Maybe its just me but the husband from the second concern didn't seem sincere at all while apologizing its ridiculous how he had the nerve to call his wife selfish. The daughter was smart for mentioning rehab. Man the more I watch this show the more I want my future husband to have alcohol intolerance.
To the girl for the first concern and her unnie: If you're getting mistreated, it is not because you are who you are. It's because, they are who they are. Fighting girl, you are really strong woman 💪
23:11 What Shin Dong-yup said is so important for ALL people to understand. It doesn't matter where you are from. No one should have to leave their home to live a life free from ridicule over something they were born with. This happens everywhere! People need to do much better.
I just came for Jun.K. Aww he’s so cute at 14:59 I had no idea what the title said and was just reading the English subs , as a Japanese raised in a foreign country I can relate to some of them . I’ve been a victim of racism and also have been looked down from Japanese people too. Some Japanese people are more overthinking and judgemental, there’s so many lack of small freedoms. Sometimes I wanna shout the hell out of my mind , people just mind your own business, look in the mirror yourself , stop talking about other people just bc you can’t talk about yourself, stop putting people in a box , stopmaking people worry about small things ,deal with it , fck off okay.
the first concern, people can be really mean and I don't get that, like place yourself in her shoes, how would you feel? Even though she went through all that, she has a really joyful personality which I really admire
i can't believe some of the comments i'm reading, "is normal to stare at them"? what did your parents taught you! no is not ok to stare at people just because they look different!! i understand if someone is surprised by seeing someone with a condition they haven't seen before but picture, stare at them, and talk about them in front of their faces is not justified in any situation! I was about 10 or 11 years old when i first saw an albino in LA and of course i surprised and looked at him and i knew he looked different, but i didn't keep staring at the guy like he was someone from another dimension! because my parents taught me that it's impolite to stare at people just because they look different! what makes it even more sad is that it looks like not even the teachers try to educate the kids and explain her condition to the other students... wow this world.
*Anyone with albinism reading comments please know your beautiful & I’m not saying this because I’m a woman with albinism as I’m not. I genuinely think your all so beautiful. I send much love & respect from 🇬🇧 🙏🧿♥️*
The son in last concern looks like Sanha from Astro :') So cute. He's living his life while he still can. I'm sure he will be the best son in the world :')
the first concern really shows how much koreans are focused on societal standards that condemn everyone who is just the slightest bit different.. im glad the two albino girls found each other
the first one absolutely shattered my heart, it was so devastating to watch. I wish korea didn't have that sort of judgemental stigma towards anyone who's different.
Tbh in asian countries, people are not used to foreigners from the west in contrast with people in the west who are used to asians immigrating to their countries, hence, diversity is much more appreciated in the west. I remember my friend who is French/Aussie and 5'9 tall went to visit Beijing with her family but she got shock as people there treated her like an alien when she was walking around the city. People kept asking her for photos or taking photos of her without her knowledge. She was so frightened that she said she will never visit china again, she even said that people who have 'dark skin' are being treated like criminals since people in asian countries tries to stereotype them with how they are normally portrayed in tv and movies. I think asian countries still need to be open minded when it comes to culture diversity and individuality.
tbh i never thought an albino would be treated like that because Korean standard of beauty idolises pale white skin which happens with albinoism and kpop idols always dye their hair blonde and wear contacts so i assumed that she would be celebrated for her looks rather than teased and riduculed
So many people study to learn many things at school that we don't really need in life like chemistry, etc. Lack of education to be human is the problem why people who are different are having a hard time living in Korea. For goodness' sake, teach your kids to be human! Everyone is special in their own way. Introduce children to these kinds of situations in a way that kids will understand. She is a special girl. She doesn't look like us that is why she is special. She has strengths and weaknesses just as we do. She is human like us.
I can relate to the first concern, since I'm a Mexican-Asian and go to a "all white school" (meaning most of my city is white skinned people either German or American.) I stand out and don't have many friends. Due to Kpop I was able to find friends and be comfortable I really thank k-pop music.
for the first concern, when the guy in the bus took a picture of her, if i was her i wouldve took a picture of the guy and wouldnt have erased it either.
I cried so much at the first concern, I feel so sorry for her to have to go through all that torture; but her personality is absolutely amazing. She's so confident and cheerful however I hope everything goes well for everyone with the concern! (I fell in love with taejoon even more after this ♡~♡)~
Korean celebrities(especially kpop idols)dye their hair and wear coloured lenses all the time so why is it a problem when someone has natural blond hair and blue eyes???
2jae's real u right
Definitely jun k will be an ideal friend.
Should have better prescription end glasses from a well trained optomitrist
You'd think so but there are a lot of things celebrities can get away with that normal people can't

I feel so sorry for the first concern... this girl is beautiful i swear. :(
yes!! and her personality too. i enjoyed her ''date'' with the MC
+Nolitha July I'd definitely want to converse with her she seems so outgoing ;)
If I had a dollar for every alcohol related concern on this show....
you would have been a billionaire
tbh :/
etroxon guys i figures out how we can all have endless money.... just put 5 dollars in a jar every time helloe counselor has an alcoholic concern or a bad husdband concern. our savings are going to be so fucking massive guys.... watchu mean debt? i need not know the word.
ikr
Taejoon's date with that girl was so cute ;)
i bet if anyone hadnt interrupted they'd still be there
i kind of hope he asked for her phone number or something
i love that taejoon is a host now, it makes me want to watch even if i dont know the guests
ahh that's so cool I really like him!! :D
Same! I feel like we needed a younger MC to balance things out a bit and he's perfect! I like that he gets just as angry as we do about some of the concerns! 😂
Jun. K ♥

albinism isn't something you hear on a daily basis it's not like a big "disorder" that many people really know much about...
albinos aren't a big size of the population so maybe that has to do something with it
michael Carrero So that gives people a right to mock her & treat her like an exhibit?
I'm not going to make an excuse for adults acting immature. Especially over something as simple as someone looking different from them.

My heart hurt so much while watching the first concern. People can be so mean

who's in it....Choi He....Jun.k ...... Jun.k ???...... OMFG JUN.K !!!!!

I love Jun.k guys...
Yeah, I noticed
The Masked Singer Xx same 😂😂💖💖 I'm Hottest and he is my all time bias wrecker he is such a sweet and cool person

The last one is just plain friendship goals
I love the way jun.k first looked at the blonde haired girl like:"Oh it's true blonde hair and everything. So what?"
koreans really need to stop caring for the looks that much, its frustrating ugh
Full of prejudice. It's really sad.
looks is a big deal all around the world I hope you know that
+michael Carrero ..It's obviously more serious in Korea. There's a chance you would get turned down for a job for being not attractive enough and it's part of your resume to put your picture. michael Carrero My friends have experienced it firsthand. They were never discriminated against for their looks or appearance in other countries.

That last family was the cutest 😂 they're adorable!
Jun. K♡♡♡2PM♡
the first concern, she's freaked awesome! whole everyone tries to have blonde hair and she has it naturally.
But idk im just glad she still came out strong, ambitious and really damn funny lol i loved her date with Taejoon ^^
please give our 2PM a lot of love and support
Jun.K💖Iove you
17:57 *OMG 🤣 This fellow sister is hella funny. She’s really made my day bless her! Anyone would be very lucky to have her has family/friends. At least she’s not boring!*
The 1st case such a Beautiful lady!!!!
3rd concern boy is living my dream life his family also let him do anything n he has good friends too m jealous😫
whenever i watch the concerns of mothers and then see how alot of them bottle up their feelings i cant help but think of my own mother who must also feel like these mothers to some extent.
The boy from the 3rd concern is hilarious tbh
I understand that his mom is concerned, but it's just so fucking funny
This program show us the korean people is such a bully person, of course not everyone is like that
but many people in korean are mean, they should respect each other
no matter how the person is, respect is everything
it's really sad because the country is so beautiful, but some people make the country a bad place to live, because of the preconception
I am so glad that albinism is not a huge issue in England and that people are accepting towards it. It's natural. They're human too :(
Im kind of shocked that the first concern only got 105 votes. you mean half of the people didnt think it was a concern for her? To be called names and have your pictures taken by random strangers isn't a concern?
omg yeongjas hair
I agree at 15:36. Lee Jong Suk is so handsome 💖
The last concern was ADORABLE 😍
Jun.k 's smile 😍😍😍🥰his stare 16.57 🥰🥰🥰
U did a good job girl :D
You are a kind of friend that everyone needs in their life.
I hate alcoholics! my father is one and he never changed. so my mom left him cause he hurted us so much!
I feel you
Same thing happened with my family.
To the girl for the first concern and her unnie:
If you're getting mistreated, it is not because you are who you are. It's because, they are who they are. Fighting girl, you are really strong woman 💪
the ep is really good today!
i loved the date with the mc
if i ever meet her i can tell we can be best friends i love her personality shes strong
the mother of the last boy is sooo beautiful.
I am so sorry for all this pain u feel , first concern girl its not your fault ppl are mean. stay strong , love your self. be unique.
the last one is so adorable! Such a good family.
minjunie oppa let me hug you .. i felt so sad at the end when the father and his son were talking than they showed our junie ..
😭😭😭😭
The first concern... I hope she will be happy forever💕 those people who picked on her/threw things at her/ etc... They better watch out at night 👿💀
I just met Jun.K, he looked super cool and 1000× better in real life
Lucky 😭
Jealous of you dude🙃
You're so lucky 😭
23:11 What Shin Dong-yup said is so important for ALL people to understand. It doesn't matter where you are from. No one should have to leave their home to live a life free from ridicule over something they were born with. This happens everywhere! People need to do much better.
I like how taejoon and Jun.K laugh soo freely with the last concern they're probably imagining themselves doing that lol
id just like to take a moment to confirm that tae joon clearly owns a whole closet of variously ripped jeans lol
I just came for Jun.K. Aww he’s so cute at 14:59
I had no idea what the title said and was just reading the English subs , as a Japanese raised in a foreign country I can relate to some of them .
Same!!
Jun and taejoon EEEEE faves together heck yee
Am I the only one who was like : HELL YEAH. When I saw the new episode of Hello Counsellor. I honestly love this show.
They kid in the end concern is so adorable. I envy his life. Thats how you should spend your youth
the first concern, people can be really mean and I don't get that, like place yourself in her shoes, how would you feel? Even though she went through all that, she has a really joyful personality which I really admire
My Jun. King 👑 speaking facts at 49:06
i can't believe some of the comments i'm reading, "is normal to stare at them"? what did your parents taught you! no is not ok to stare at people just because they look different!! i understand if someone is surprised by seeing someone with a condition they haven't seen before but picture, stare at them, and talk about them in front of their faces is not justified in any situation!
I hate how they talk about alcoholism as a "habit".
bitch, that's an addiction.
Omg the girl from first concern...her hair is beautiful
1:11:18 awwww 😣 I bet Minjun misses his father too 💔💓
yeah I bet he's hiding it 😭😭 now I'm sad
Jun.k 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
jun.k😍😍😍😍💞
For the first case, the girl seems so cool. She's so clever and is actually pretty funny. It's a shame people avoided her.
"Time had passed but the wounds still hurt"
*Anyone with albinism reading comments please know your beautiful & I’m not saying this because I’m a woman with albinism as I’m not. I genuinely think your all so beautiful. I send much love & respect from 🇬🇧 🙏🧿♥️*
my baby junk Im thinking about you 💗
still thinking about you
Jun. K
Glad she still has high confidence. If I was her, I couldn't do that. She is awesome🙇.Unnie fighting!!!
the last concern.. i think that 12th grader was cute tbh😂 he reminded me of my 7th grade crush;-; just me? ok😂
Last concern was cuteeee 😍 💕 ☺
The son in last concern looks like Sanha from Astro :') So cute. He's living his life while he still can. I'm sure he will be the best son in the world :')
the first concern really shows how much koreans are focused on societal standards that condemn everyone who is just the slightest bit different.. im glad the two albino girls found each other
As a soft heart human, the albino sister brought tears to my eyes.
I love taejoon (I saw him first in suspicious partner) he is adorable🍪❤️❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Jun.K be like "when can i go home "the entire show . Lmao ya!!! Wake your ass up mab
the first one absolutely shattered my heart, it was so devastating to watch.
This woman, she is special.. how can anyone look down on her?
Wow. The first concern, that girl is perfection.
Jun k 😍
I cried so much at the first concern, I feel so sorry for her to have to go through all that torture; but her personality is absolutely amazing. She's so confident and cheerful however I hope everything goes well for everyone with the concern! (I fell in love with taejoon even more after this ♡~♡)~
Jun.k soooo handsome....
what a hero to have to experience that everyday, I am so ashamed of myself:(
in Korea looks matter a lot. I hope that they will learn to let go and embrace people who look different.
I am so proud of Taejoon for becoming a permanent MC, Taejoon fighting!
