Just the music of this game gives you so much emotion. I didnt even see a gameplay when i first found this game just the soundtrack on those full ost videos. I spent a good portion of that video with a tight throat.

The statue is her mother who died
likely, but not necessarily. The developers said they wanted to make the game in such a way so that anyone could interpret it their own way. So... I could be her sister, too. But I prefer the mother theory.

Can you explain why the statue broke at the beginning
You can interpret the story a bit differently, but my interpretation is that it breaking represent the death of her mother, leading her into depression and the journey through the 5 stages.

Why is The Statue naked?
I think it’s the daughter who is traveling to Heaven , and the mother who is accepting the grief at the end. It’s the daughter who brings color back when you’re constantly fighting to fall back into black. But that’s how I see it. Beautiful game regardless. I cried at the end of my stream
