My dad makes homemade cheesecake. He doesn't do it that often but when he does, he does a bunch of different flavors. And its so good
@SL Sophie its really good. I would say my dad out his own spin on homemade American cheesecake. I want to try the japanese cheesecake. Sounds good
BigJ sounds yummy! Care to share the recipe?
@@windermere2330 I'm not really sure how my dad makes his cheesecakes
@@bigjplayz3536 ok Tnx anyway!
Could you ask him maybe? If not it’s totally fine just like getting new cheesecake recipes
So glad you are making a Basque dessert! We are such a small region and makes me super proud to appear on such a wonderful channel so people can get to know us more!! Eskerrik asko! (Thank you in Basque)😊

Wow I love all of them...
Have you tried the Sweden chesscake
I don’t think I’d ever kick a piece of cheesecake out of bed! No matter where it was made!
*Rie is the cutest and always cracks the internet like a cheesecake with her enormous cooking skills*

Japanese cheesecake is my fave!! But I love all cheesecake 😍
It looks so good! I hope to try it one day!
basque cheesecake is best when its gooey in the middle. This is how its done in San Sebastian. so good!
@SuperGourmetguy So was this one overcooked? Are you saying it should be softer throughout? I am unfamiliar with Basque cheesecake other than I've heard it's extremely delicious.
@@lisahinton9682unfortunately it did look a bit overcooked. The ones I've had the texture of soft creme brulé. The one in the video looked pretty good but that firmer texture would be exclusive round the edges
What a fabulous video Clear directions, helpful tips, and entertaining chef!
I saw cheese cake, I saw 3 and now I'm drooling and craving for ALL of them
Rie makes it look super easy . She is the best ♥️
I love all the Tasty videos and Rie♥️♥️
This dish looks like it's bursting with amazing flavors. Can't wait to try it out!
They all look absolutely delicious.
Basque: Shows Spanish flag.
Castile: Why do I hear boss music?
*confusion* it is the basque flag
So appetizing
Thanks a lot!

The Golden Girls started my addiction to cheesecakes and learning how to make them.
@Dameon Lupine Yes! I loved that show! You just brought back some happy memories!
I've always loved the way Rie pronounces the word 'eggs' it pleases my ears 🙃
Love Rie! 💜
I remember playing Suikoden 2 on the ps1 when i was 9 and making cheese cake will always give you a 9 9 9 9 perfect score.
I baked my cheesecake with the true fire rune 😆
Rie is so good at cooking
I couldn't help but think while watching this "well you won't see David Seymour making these Rie treats" 😂😂😂
hahahaha tru 😭
Cheesecake lover here! I didn’t know that watching Rie make cheesecake was the thing that would make me happy now!
Amazing work Rie! You should sometime try Chhena Poda, the Indian Cheesecake. It comes from the state of Orissa in India. It is made from Chhena, which is basically a fresh cottage cheese, usually made from milk of Water Buffalo. It can be also made from Cow’s milk. The cheese is very easy to make to at home. Hope you will like it!
And than there's cheesecake from germany which is made without cheese (but quark) 🙃 But it's also pretty good! Creamy, rich, fluffy and just delicious.
That is how we eat it in Belgium too: with kwark / plattekaas. My grandmother made it with a crust of Bastogne cookies (similar to Lotus speculoos /Biscoff but better) and as a cold cheesecake (with gelatine).
Quark is cheese, only that it is super fresh.
And you do it with a shortcrust, to bring the crunch😍
looks good
Amazing.
Rie, by far is the best Tasty chef
It looks sooooo yummy 👍シ
I'd eat all of them! Cheesecakes are my favorite
Yo should try recreating the La Viña restaurant’s cheesecake. It’s by far known as the best one in Spain and it’s also from the Basque Country but it’s totally different to the one you made. This one is extremely creamy much enjoyable. Definitely worth it
THIS!
Going to make Japanese Style Cheesecake Tomorrow.😋
I thought it was flan in the thumbnail. I'm craving it now
Yay! Im so happy to see Basque food on here! I am Basque. ❤️

*yes, we all have some 6 inch baking round baking things because every 8 years we have the urge to make some cheesecake 😁*
Cool!
30 years ago, I use to make a delicious "Supper Supreme Cheese Cake". My husband loved it!! A lot of work & waiting, but worth it!
I've been wanting to get back into baking and I will definitely be trying these 😋
yess do it!!
@Toni Vergara
What made it specifically for supper? Is it because you eat it after supper? I am curious now! Do you have a recipe you would be willing to share here? Many thanks. (I like recipes from that era when food was more "normal" and not all foo-fooey.)
Basque is my favorite!!
The basque cheesecake is famous in south India and is called Chenna poda
I’m yet to try Japanese jiggly cheesecake 🙌
I hope you will try not only baked cheesecake but also ”unbaked cheesecake” when you come to Japan.
While Japanese cake bakers (often mothers, grandmothers) will make baked cakes.
If the person greeting you buys it from a cake shop, you may experience unbaked.
Both baked and unbaked cakes are marvelous, and there is no difference between having a good time and having a good conversation.
Can i have one slice of each please? Oh uhm... maybe more than one slice of each? They look yummy!
Been awhile I Haven't seen Rie ever since her last sushi tour with Andrew and Steve from Worth It Buzz feed
Wow Delicious nice sharing Mam😊
I'm 1/8 basque but I'm proud of my heritage and imma visit one day
Can you make german cheesecake?
Have you ever tried French style cheesecake? It's the only kind I could eat with my tonsillectomy since it's soft enough
Basque people will get triggered with that thumbnail hahaha
No polish and german?

Torteau fromaher, its completly black - love it
All kinds of cake are simply delicious.

Yeah that was my first real dessert that I tried to make that would be considered better than jello 😉 anything Japanese cuisine haven't been disappointed yet 😉😻
The thumbnail (and the video concept) reminds me of Andong's video

Anglo Spanish people:

The sound of the mixer is so weird to listen on a video- bit distracting
I think we are all here for Rie

良い
Rie. Could you share how much sugar you used for the American cheese cake?
For God sake Rie after a long time not using any alcohol in this video 😂😂👏
