This doesn't address at all about getting the lint UNDER the bobbin case. I had to remove the little bracket at the back left corner in order to lift the bobbin case out. There is also no mention of how or when to oil the machine. Wouldn't that be necessary to keep the machine working smoothly and quietly?
I like to use Eleanor Burns' little cleaning tools and the little dental brushes that kids use to clean around their braces. I would never use cotton swabs because they themselves can leave fibers.

The cleaning brushes supplied with the machines are worthless. Use cotton swabs as lint STICKS to them.

This video is about as useful as the machine itself. Worst sewing machine I have ever used.
