1. Does the thread roll from under the spool or from over the spool on the horizontal pin? 2. Does the thread run from behind the spool or in front of it on the vertical pin? 3. There is a small metal triangle that sticks up on the upper threading path between #2 and downward to #4? It's important to know wh side of that triangle the thread should go bc that metal piece holds the thread along the path. The metal triangle is lose and you cannot tell whether the thread should go on the right or left side of it. 4. Bobbin 😂winding. Ive found that the bobbin is likely to get wonky when it begins to wind at the beginning when you have your hand holding the thread. If you are sitting down, wh you normally would be, your body has a tendency to view the thread as straight up when it is actually leaning off center. An easy fix is to stand up, look straight down on the top of the bobbin and make sure the thread is going straight up, perpendicular to the ceiling. Hold it carefully in that position till it makes several rotations, then cut the thread you were holding and allow the machine to continue winding. If you ever have a problem w a wonky wrap after that, simply put the wound bobbin on the horizonal pin (I've never tried the vertical pin) and thread an empty bobbin on the winder w the wonky bobbin thread, just as if it was a spool of thread. Ive found that makes a uniformly wound bobbin every time. 😊 Hope this helps y'all. 5. When placing the bobbin in the bottom holder, make sure that the thread begins UNDER the black pointy projection, not in front of it. The thread will then easily be led through the thread paths to the outside path leading to the cutter. I always feel for that sharp point (you cant miss it!) then lift it a tiny bit to make sure the thread is going behind snd under it, as it tends to go between the black projection and the bobbin itself, wh keeps it from actually hooking into the pathway.😊 Hope this also helps. You are right, the threading is everything. Over the years, rules have changed and they are different on different machines too. Depending on what machines were like when you first started to sew, or what machine you used or how many different machines you used before you bought a new one, you might not know you are doing something wrong, and the person writing the manual might not know that, not so long ago, things were done exactly the opposite way, so why would he think to mention certain things or emphasize them? I noticed these differences after having sewed for ages. Bobbins were wound at top speed, the vertical spindle was only used w a twin needle, some machines only sewed right if the thread came off from over or under the spool specifically. In fact some needles went back to front or right side to left, or the reverse. So everyone enjoy sewing w your eversewn x2. It really sews nicely when you get it all set up correctly. Havent been able to set up embroidery yet bc my app seems to be in codes of alpha/numeric instead of English. When I have lots of time to decipher the meanings (reinstalls don't work, in the shop that sells the machine nobody knows, and i can't see the writing on the videos) I expect I'll find that works well too.😊

we have a sparrow 20 and it is has the start stop button but it is stuck in the auto sew mode and even if we stop it and turn it off and back on pressing the foot pedal only starts auto sewing when it’s depressed and released. i’m perplexed we can not get the machine back to presser foot control. Any suggestions?

I have been unable to increase the size of the letters. When I enter the letter, then edit, then increase stitch width button, the machine beeps at me and does not make the change.

Excellent video and instructions..step by step, however, i cannot get the needle threader to work properly ..i have tried it over and over again for two days.

I got this exact machine at the start of covid. I wanted a sewing machine, and most that I looked at were either out of stock or way over my budget. I saw this on Amazon. It had two things going for it (1) it was in stock and (2) decently priced. I took the chance as I had never heard of this brand prior, and I have been very happy and very impressed with this little machine ever since. It also came with several different presser feet, and a quilting accessories kit, (which as an FYI, includes the walking foot).

I have the Daniela model. Can you tell me if the software works with this model? Also what accessories do I need to embroider and will they work on any Eversewn model? And where can I purchase the accessories? Thank you

hand blocks the automatic threader process, image afterwards is too small to see what you did. would be wonderful if you could either cut to an image of that process or zoom in so we can see how it is stretched through the pieces to make it wirk!!

Do i need to have a computer to do this? I havent had a computer for about 15 yrs bc i use ipads. Can i perform these moves w the same ipad that holds my eversewn app? If a computer isnt necessary could you show us the alternative way? Do you need a computer to transfer designs ? How do you download to your Eversewn app and unzip files? If i remember correctly, i once had an app to unzip files many years ago. Embroidery companies say you must know how all this works and be able to do it bc they dont do this work. I suppose it has to do w paid classes? Thank you in advance for your help.❤

I was really hoping I could follow along with this video since this is the only one I can find to view. Your hands completely block what you are doing. It would be great if this could be done in a way where we can see and learn.

I am having issues connecting my machine to the app on my tablet. I have had it connected to this particular tablet before so I am not sure why it will not connect now. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and restarting the machine and tablet and nothing works and I can not get ahold of anyone at eversewn because they never answer the phone you always have to leave a message and then they never call back so can you please help me with this. There is nothing wrong with my internet or wifi and as I stated above I have had this machine connected to this tablet before

A poorly thought out video with no preparing. The stitching throughout wrinkled the fabric showing a mess. Come on Eversewn, you can do better than that.
