I own this machine. It exceeded my expectation by far. It sews effortlessly. The stitches are extremely uniform and sturdy. It rarely nests. When it does I'm sure it's operator error. It has some really helpful features such as stitch lock and needle Up/down. Once you try them you realize how much time and hassle they save. I'm sewing more since all projects go faster when you are not fighting with a machine. I bought mine from Randy's Sewing center in Spring Hill, Fl. for a good price. THANK YOU RANDY!
Just bought this machine (Sparrow 25)LOVE IT!!!! I got the embroidery foot (Darning foot) and this machine does quilting free stitching great, The letter feature is excellent. For those who are wondering this is actually Bernina's Chevy.....Bernina (popular machine brand) being the Cadillac. This machine uses standard feet, bobbins and needles so on a Sunday afternoon you can find what you need. The speed feature is my favorite and the granddaughter loved it too. I rate this machine 5 stars all the way.

You said it has a threader but didn't show it.... is it easy on that part some upper model say it has auto threader and cutter such as the sparrow 30 more stitches it has a table a auto cutter and it is more money but love the extras.

Do you know if the Sparrow 15 has a speed control like this one (for the grandkids) They just cant get the concept of NO FULL THROTTLE! lol. We want simple with no computer if we can. Does this 20 model use other standard bobbins or do they have to be this brand?

How durable do you feel this machine is? I.e., can it handle being used for a couple hours a day basically every day of the week? I'm looking for a new machine, and all the others that I've had have basically pooped out on me after just a few months.
I feel this machine is VERY durable. I have had mine for 2 years. I sew on & down lots of bindings. That is a lot of mechanical movement. I usually use a walking foot when doing bindings, but this machine does a great job without. I even did a jelly roll rug last week without the walking foot. Love this machine.

I have the Sparrow 25 and the feed dogs can be lowered. This one may as well.

In Europe this si called the Bernina Sew&Go 8 ... in case someone else is wondering :)
I think you mean the Bernette Sew & Go 7. The 8 has a bigger LCD screen.
