My apologies for being late, but I am here. I am shocked that so many women, as soon as they find out they have the gene, instantly assume they WILL get cancer. I wonder how many have detailed genetic testing as to which mutation they have or if they are told it isn't necessary.

See?! I thought/assumed (through very few sounds bites) that if I had the BRCA, I would have a high risk of getting breast cancer. Goes to show what some free education from my favorite teacher does for the soul. You certainly keep me calm.
I realize if I am ever made to feel fearful with doctors, to take a breath and ask questions. I just know they will stutter because I already know the answer. 😄

Dr Taylor, I am wondering if next week will cover the Gail risk assessment? I just received my annual mammogram report today and noticed it on the bottom of my report. I am not familiar with this assessment but I am wondering if it will be covered.
