My favorite bootleg album title! I was hoping someone posted the cover around here. You're the only one who did it. You, sir, have my undying gratitude.
I've always felt JPJ''s interlude(s) during Live NQ's were like foreplay for the ultimate explosion when Jimmy and Bonzo kick in...might be my favorite live happening in all of Rock history. P.S. Todd Kelly sent me here :-)
It’s amazing that his playing went into a bit decline weeks later at Knebworth ..due to nerves for sure. His playing here ..to me..is on par with 75’ NQs.
All 4 of them just crush this. That is why it's my all time favourite song. There isn't a weak moment or even an average moment...it's all so perfect here.
@@Veggamattic agree. This was one of my first bootlegs I ever heard too. First one was ...Knebworth on cassette ordered from the back of Rolling Stone magazine.
Hell - Warm up... my ass!!! This is better than 99% of live Rock music ever. It's everything, powerful, light/heavy and mind blowing dynamics. Just glad I was alive to see it while still a punk in high school. I was 6 when The Beatles played Ed Sullivan, so my life is complete.
Not that there is bad song on Houses of the Holy, three on there stand out to me as songs that make them the rock gods they are. Over the Hills..., Song Remains..., and No Quarter. Whats beyond great? this stuff.
I'm partial to this version - 1st off, I was there, 2nd, the Bach interlude w/ JPJ and Jimmy going at it, not to forget Bonzo either... anyway: ruclips.net/video/yvlAMnK6j8Q/видео.html

If you know a better live Zeppelin song...please post a link.
this is the only redeeming quality of the internet - hearing lost live zeppelin. Thanks Todd.

my favorite all time version of NQ is from 6.23.77.
@@jeffreylorien6687 I know that version very well and it is much longer and very good but has a few weak spots and this one doesn't imo.
ruclips.net/video/hQ5D82CqwPI/видео.html (it's from 1975, not so much dark vibes in it than in those no quarters after 1977)
Always loved the closing flurries by Jimmy that totally drown out the band...one of my fave Zep live moments on bootleg
Page way better than 77 on here, still on the smack but seems more inspired and great tone (think most of 77 tour he was very ill!)
That's different kind of LSD
