    Great video. I couldn’t understand why my rebuilt front forks would always bottom out until I watched this video. I inverted the springs and problem solved! Thanks.

    Have a set of 72 fork ears/headlight mounts that you would want to get rid of? thats my last puzzle piece to finish up my childhood bike

      I know it’s been 2 years since you posted this comment, but I hope you found the fork ears! I have the same year and I gave up bc the part is discontinued and all reproductions are overpriced to hell and back lmao.

    Is there a reason why you drained the oil before taking out the top bolts?

      I used the pressure to push the oil out under compression. Probably would drain out ok if top bolt was taken out. Your preference.
