  • Bought a clapped out 2001 TTR125L for cheap, put a few parts on it to make it rideable again and its super fun!
Mods so far include Uncorked factory Exhaust, Chinese VM24 Clone, 13/49T sprockets.
Changed the oil after swapping in a new clutch pack and away I went!
I am 6' 1" approx 190lbs, and even though this is a small chassis bike, the "L" specs make this bike totally rideable, it even makes enough power and torque to be enjoyable as well!

do you think this is a good beginners bike for a 5'8 girl?

@JollyJupiterr yeah the TTR125 is one of the best bikes for a beginner. The L version is taller than the normal one so it would be great for someone 5'8"

Alright thanks. I also need a few solid reasons of why this bike is good to get, because my parents are pretty hesitant about buying a bike for $2000+ just for it to be too big or small. We have a tight budget and because we are beginners we would prefer low maintenance.
