Though I’m missing that part where the weather radio states the information about the storm… The owner hear that warning, yes, we had this kind of storm, but in my town of Houston, Texas it was rare, it was quick, we didn’t report any damage, just several power outages or power surges schools reported power outages two after the storm

I don’t blame you for feeling scared when it comes to stormy weather, I was just as scared as you were when I heard the sirens to at 7am. I don’t like how loud the sirens are and tornado warnings definitely scare me

Yeah there was a 75 MPH gust measured in my county I think. This storm hit pretty much everywhere in Eastern Iowa. Thanks for watching!

It’s cool how the weather changed from thin cloud cover to severe storm in about 20 minutes

    I love the ESC-2020 Whelens running 560hz, as well as the 465hz ones(Digital ESC-864s).

Same. The 560 ones are my favorite. There was also a 435hz audible in the video too at times. There’s a a lot of Whelen 2800s around here.

Very nice video! What a powerful storm that was! What does CLCS mean if I may ask?

Thanks! A “QLCS” is basically a line of strong severe thunderstorms on radar. They’re usually along a cold front. These kinds of storms almost always tend to have damaging straight line winds within them and sometimes even tornadoes too. If the winds are strong enough for a long period of time they can be classified as a derecho, which I believe is what this storm was. Thanks for watching!
