The unmarked trail to the right was the old route of the SST, then called the Link Trail. It goes, or went, to Priceless Point, an impressive, rugged ridgeline escarpment with a superb view. Great video.
That was a great video! The snow was pretty,although dangerous. I have the same tripod Dave has. Im so glad you finally made it and the snow madevitva little more perfect. Safe travels❤❤❤❤
Forest fires are what keep invasive species in check and provide certain native species with the necessary conditions they require for reproduction. Forest fires are much more beneficial from an ecological standpoint than logging, which removes tons of biomass (energy) from the ecosystem and creates the conditions which invasive thrive in.
It looks like this was worth a 3rd hike.❤
