Well, yes. Assuming honed points, good plugs, rings are okay and pistons aren't worn. No clogging in the fuel system and a million other things. Properly tuned magneto, good carb, etc. But, yeah, you're right. No need to turn the flywheel like it's the steering column of a 69 Camaro.

Not necessarily some did have them but yes it could make them more dangerous for sure.
