That is possibly one of the best sounds on the face of this earth! Beautiful tractor! I learn to drive I’m one very very similar to the one in the video!
You must have been raised on the old girls cause you are running it perfectly. I use a 3pt. 7 ft. Kuhn on a 49 B and it's a great setup. Makes her a little light on the front when the rake is off the ground though. Dad had the 49 and 50 A's.
Thanks yes I did grow up on a farm started working when I was seven and left the farm for the big city of Toronto at 16 back in 1956. It was a great time in my young life that you never forget.
I like miniature hay equipment I'm thinking about switching over I do fiber six Bales now my Farmers close to my hay field I could use smaller bails either a three-by-three or 4 by 5 would be great we'll see what this year brings I also sell some to horse people that smaller bail be easier for them to handle have a blessed day
@@farmgrowncountrystrong I use my John Deere model "B" to plow and disc just under 315 acres and the model b also Bush hogs our 600 acre lot on the hillside of my buddy Bills property. I have chains on it maybe that helps. Goodnight Farm Grown, Country Song it's my bedtime.
We blew it into the upstairs of the barn, and we have that area of it cyclone fenced off. It gets pretty dusty while chopping and blowing, but otherwise it's good bedding.
Music to my ears, thank you for the content

I just love the old Two cylinders. My grandfather had 3 of them when I was young. It never gets old to me to listen to them.
That sound will never ever get old!
That A is hitting a mean lick! Love hearing it!
Very nice tractor, and beautiful video.
Thanks!
I’ve seen a lot of John Deer A videos , and this is by far the best one yet . The 1:38 - 2:05 minute mark is off the chain good!!!
Awesome video! Beautiful A and I love the idol speed . Music to my ears!
We had a john Deere 520 and an 'A' . Love to listen to them make music.
Those two-cylinders keep beat to the music.
About to go buy a Kuhn GA4220TH to put behind my A for this year and this video got me excited lol
really nice old model A like those fenders

Thanks! Farming is definitely something we love.
Love your farm videos! takes me back to when I was working on a farm as a young lad.
Thanks! Did you grow up on a farm?

+canvids1 Yeah life on the farm can be hard, but it's something I definitely wouldn't trade!
Dang! Pretty work!!
No mistaking the sound of an old Johnny Popper!! Subscribed.
Thanks for the subscription!
Nice sounding A
Thanks, it's a good old Johnny!
Beautiful A, thanks for the great video!
Sounds pretty effortless for your A :)
How do you like that rake? Still have it?
What do you use to mow the hay, do you use something like a Windrower or does your Model A pull something like a MowCo.
We have New Holland Discbine. Most of the time we have a JD 6420 on it, sometimes a 4020 👍🏻

Yeah, there's always lots of different markets for hay! Steady demand.
What year is your Model A I have a 1949 A
1948 👍
Does that a raise and lower that rake at all we've got a similar kuhn rake that we can't even run a 620 or 730?
It can only raise it a little bit. Just don't have the hydraulic power!
It's always good to work old iron. And I see your at 100 Subscribers! Congratulations!
Thanks! It's nice working with those old tractors. Unfortunately it didn't work to do the whole field with the A.

chopped abd blown into what area of the barn? any dust issues?

Should open it up
The way that A's PTO is geared, I don't think there would be much left of that windrow if we opened her up lol
