As always, appreciate your videos man. I've got a question for you: I'm an artist that does many different genres (think of an xxxtentacion array of diversity) and I even grew up on Rock, Heavy Metal, playing guitar and even acting. So how can I brand myself to one demographic when I'm so diverse? I see X doing it, but I guess his brand is diversity in and of itself...I feel like I'll be called an "X wannabe" while really I'm not, I just like hearing and making all types of music. Always have. from an audience perspective, I came to know XXXtentacion as an agressive/dark rage rapper type artist. Then when I heard other styles it was still cohesive to me because it was all still very emotional/depressing/sad/angry. So then i thought, "cool. demon boy has a softer side."
I see all of your points and see the commonality seems to be that he came up with the more aggressive songs and then branched out. But I mean then again he been having softer songs for a long time (i spoke to the devil in miami or even his boom bap shit). I feel like X was very lucky to be physically attractive (fuck the tattoos and the hair, I mean on a basic facial features level). That definitely gave him the edge with the many female fans he has (who continuously call him "daddy") in my opinion.
Brand yourself as 'you'; only you will have those specific influences and skillset so that's your basis. You won't be using someone else's demographic, your own one will come to you in time :)

As a rapper & drummer in a rock band I have branded myself around 💀skulls & 👻death. It can often intimidate most listeners BUT i am bridging that gap between life & death, reality & dreams, good & evil. The lyrics are very "self aware" and empowering. I've made raido/club friendly songs as well, but my main focus/brand is that Do or Die lifestyle. My main goal is to show YOU the listener that you TOO can create your own reality, live on YOUR terms! - Demise

Hello, i wanted to ask do i NEED a logo? Is it absolutely necessary for branding?
Because i cant find any place to fit my logo into... My social media pages profile picture shouldn't there be my picture for example?

I tried looking for some major or even not so major artists using logos but they all used professional pictures as their profile pic for everything...

At the beginning, you mentioned Travis Scott created a world... what world did he create/what was the aesthetic? now before anyone comments, i'm not denying that he created a world. I'm just not sure what it is that he did at the beginning of the career that created a cohesive world... when I looked at his social media i see a lot of dark colors but ALOT of artists do that so i'm sure there's more to it.
So what am I missing that Travis Scott did in creating his brand/image? I'd really like to study it.

yh i just recently listened to owl pharaoh DBR and rodeo and listen to the prayer and remember its an intro .the sound of that song just creates an image in your head and will help you understand his world better

Whats to talk about? He donates money to create a good image. He praises the devil in other songs but in God's plan he makes himself look like he's this Christian guy but he doesn't say what God he talks about though. Lots of celebrities see Satan as a God. I don't think Drake believes in God or the Devil but I do believe God's plan is just made to give him a great image. He might gave away a lot of money to random people but he made it back from the song. It's good marketing but there's not a lot to talk about.
