I lost my husband almost 4 years ago and we had a 1 year old son at that time. Being so many years now and feeling the full struggle and strength I've had to learn to over come makes me love this video. I pray I get to see our son walk across the stage for graduation too.
What everyone is missing is this girl has a heart of gold, she does things for fans that get little or no attention so for that she has my respect, she is really one of a kind.
Just have to say this video hits right at home...I lost my father to cancer when I was 24 and my family was heart broken and at 27 I decided to go back to college and graduated 2 years ago and with my mother standing in the crowd so proud of me I can only imagine it played out just like this video.. Just goes to show that unfortunately life throws us curve balls but me must enjoy every moment we have together and cherish the times we have together

My dad passed away less than 4 weeks ago. I've never seen my mom so depressed. I've never seen my dads mom so depressed. My mom made them play this song at my dads funeral. It was how my mom felt. I have never loved a song as much as this one. I love you Lauren and I'm so glad this song was played.

Praying for your heart Tallor; I know separation of two people you love can be hard. Opening up your heart to feeling love and honestly allowing yourself to "feel" is a part of healing, and so glad you are being open and allowing yourself to feel all the emotions that come along with it. People are so complex; the way we interact, our relationships, decisions (and everything else) are a sum of past experiences, trauma, hopes, dream, wishes, fears, etc. We may never understand why/how the decisions others make fully. But...we can take something from our experiences, keep ourselves open to goodness and love that wants to find us, give grace (since we are all human), be real and authentic with how we are experiencing things (some things just suck and hurt, and it is okay to allow yourself feel those emotions for a season), and also use our experiences to ultimately empower ourselves and lives as lived experiences. this song is so beautiful, but so heart-breaking at the same time. I cry every single time I listen to this song, because it really hits me deep. just watching them so in love just makes me so jealous because my parents got divorced back in 2019, so just seeing the two actors seem so in love just wishes that my parents could love each other in that way.
Praying for your heart Tallor; I know separation of two people you love can be hard. Opening up your heart to feeling love and honestly allowing yourself to "feel" is a part of healing, and so glad you are being open and allowing yourself to feel all the emotions that come along with it. People are so complex; the way we interact, our relationships, decisions (and everything else) are a sum of past experiences, trauma, hopes, dream, wishes, fears, etc.
We may never understand why/how the decisions others make fully. But...we can take something from our experiences, keep ourselves open to goodness and love that wants to find us, give grace (since we are all human), be real and authentic with how we are experiencing things (some things just suck and hurt, and it is okay to allow yourself feel those emotions for a season), and also use our experiences to ultimately empower ourselves and lives as lived experiences.
