❤ your videos. Wow, the scenery is spectacular isn’t it and seems changing day to day. It’s what drew me to the PCT, Amazing to see the miles you’ve already done 😮Thank you so much for sharing your journey 😊 Huck commented on all those river crossings too 😮😊
Hi Ash! Watching your videos while touring Ireland and NI. You live in a beautiful part of the world! Wonderful people, great beer and fantastic whiskey!
I am really enjoying your journey and videos. I look forward to them and 😢 when they are over. So sorry about the bees, the lost and found sunglasses, losing the trail...only shortly but being reunited with your trail family in big bear. All the things a good movie has in it! Can't wait for your next video. Hope you enjoy a great rest in Big Bear. Stay strong, positive and keep smiling. 💕
Man, it must be hard to run from angry bees with a pack on! I’m so glad you’re feeling strong and healthy, and I’m sure it feels great to be reunited with the full group. Thanks for another wonderful update. I look forward to them!
Hooray you made it to Big Bear! Glad you had some down time with your trail family. I got lost almost in that same area last year, but with no snow! Crazy! You are such a joyful hiker Ash! Keep that cheerful spirit and song in your voice! Think of all the people you are inspiring to head out on the PCT! Happy trails ahead!
I'm excited for this new video! Really enjoying your perspective. It's really great that you're enjoying it enough that even the sucky bits are worthwhile and you keep your positive attitude.
OMG (the Bees) that was too funny! Great to see you happy and congratulations on your 400k. Oh and you're not the first to leave your poles behind and have to return to retrieve them. You won't be the last either! ;) ;) I was just in Big Bear this last Thursday. My high school classmate, Troy and his son Jack, are on the PCT so I was there visiting with them. :)
@@ashobrienoutdoors - I heard from her this morning. She left Wrightwood heading towards Acton. She and her trail family will head over Mount Baden Powell. If the path is sketchy or closed due to snow or landslides, they will take the highway. If ever you need me to get a message to her, feel free to contact me. She may not have reception for a few days, but she is good about checking in when she can. Once again, be safe and enjoy your journey. 🥾
Figure that after 3 weeks your trail legs are building. It may take 6 weeks to make them capable of 20+ mile days consistently. Happy Trails. Good Luck, Rick
I’m from Northern Ireland and we use miles for road speeds but kilometres, grams and Celsius for everything else, although my parents still use miles :)
Hi there, glad you are enjoying the videos. if you are referring to me, English is also my first language and I do not have the time to program subtitles while on trail, however I think RUclips has auto subtitles as an option

Ahaha we are still laughing at the bee incident. And Thankyou, was a great feeling to reach 400 km :) Ash (Zippy)
Lol, 😂
At first I thought you were attacked by bees , and a big bear.
Ahaha thankfully not but maybe that’s the next level 🐻 😂
I am glad to see that you are still doing well as is my friend Julia. Stay safe and enjoy the journey. 🥾
Thanks 😊 still trying to catch Julia but she’s fast ! 😂

We had a news story a couple of days ago here in Sydney australia of unusually large bee atacks happening in California.
Wow flip! Yea there seems to be a lot of bees this year!

Thanks 😊 working on them 🦵🏽
What bacapack you use,, you don't use naturhike rock series anymore
Nice hiking
Wait, I thought you were from Northern Ireland from some reason? But you think in km -> Republic of Ireland.

@@ashobrienoutdoors That's even more confusing than Canadians!
Ashley, I’m really enjoying your adventure. I’m wonder it you could include English subtitles for us Americans who only speak English. 😂

@@ashobrienoutdoors I think you missed my joke, but truly you are doing a great job on your vlog.
