FINALLY.....FINALLY......FINALLY......its good to see that some folks are FINALLY GETTING IT!!!! So many of us run down to ATL for MLK weekend and get our party on and our freak on and have no regard and respect for the true meaning of the weekend. I bet more of the kids paid a visit to LENOX MALL than they did tot he MLK Memorial...and this has always bothered me. I hope more people see this video.

This is true I have been to Atlanta several times and not once seen nor been in anything relationship to MLK. that's why I am making time to see or participate in a event involving Martin Luther King this January in 2015 when I go this is time.

I believe Coretta is the reason we know who Martin is. It's because Coretta put in that work to make it so America did not forget Martin. So that he wouldn't be a lost Marcus Garvey or DuBois.

Great Video! It's a shame that we(the gays) have turned Martins bday weekend an excuse to go out clubbing and having questionable parties all weekend. Some of us have forgot how we got to do that. We should stop and think about how would Martin feel about what we turned his birthday weekend into. We still have a long way to go.
Things HAVE changed since the presidency of Obama: Our future! Our young men can grow to believe that there are no limitations to what they aspire to become in this country; they can become the President of the United States of America or whatever they deem to become!!!!!!! Now all we need is a female president for our little girls to model.
