First time watching and I was deeply moved. God allows us to have a purpose in life. I was born 5 days before Martin Luther King was killed. And to know that Andrew Young is still alive to tell the story is a blessing for all of us. I dislike what racism stands for and how people today are wanting to continue down this path. Although we are continuing this fight for human and civil rights it will always be an uphill battle. However as each battle is fought, the hands of the Lord is always within our battles. One day we may feel that everyone under the sun can live in harmony and in peace and love and be loving and kind to every one. I am thankful for the journey and fight that the late Dr. King, Congressman John Lewis, and Andrew Young and so many who stood up against the injustice of racism and discrimination and to this day the fight is still going on.
I thank God for JFK AND MLK IN THEIR ERA. AND THOSE THAT WAS THERE AND ARE STILL LIVING TO TELL THEIR STORY ALL GLORY TO OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you Rev. Young, thank you for your kindness, your care, your devotion, your energy, your tenacity, thank you for sharing your strength and your shared vision with Dr. King. It has infected all of us, and, as a parent, and a grandparent, I have partnered with other like minded people in our community to ensure that the generations that follow know of the sacrifices made, the aspirations, and the refusal to give up until equality and respect are what we know, not what we have to fight for, and we will keep fighting! Bless you all!!
This came on autoplay on my feed but I’m so glad it did! I was instantly glued! What an absolutely fascinating person Mr Young is - I could have listened to him for hours more! And I would never have guessed he is 90! Fab documentary ❤

Thank you Andrew Young for your courage, steadfastness and commitment. The story about the young children who were arrested is touching in so many ways.
I remember Mr. Young as our associate pastor in San Diego. I grew to love him and his family before they moved to Atlanta. I remember them driving away in their family automobile. That day was one of the saddest days for me as a young man. I have never forgotten him and his family.
Exactly when black history month comes around mlk was always brought up but he didn't do everything by himself. They don't talk about the men that struggled with him like Jesse Jackson Ralph Albernathy Andrew Young it was all a team
No one (including MLK) said he did it all by himself. He would be the first to say so. But he did take a bullet to the face so everyone can freely debate and diminish his contribution without being lynched for it, tho.
He was always so handsome to me I used to love to look at him in my younger age but I'm at the age of 60th, and still so happy to see him even in his older age I'm going to give him his flowers.Mr.Andrew Young!💐💐💐💐💐🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹💕

I grew up in Berkeley, CA, during the era of the Black Panther's, as well!!! My birth was in 1959, December, so I was very familiar with the Black Panthers. If it wasn't for them there would be no traffic signals in certain busy areas of Berkeley or Oakland or various other places. One of those, was on King St. & Ashbey Sts., & Market & 40th Sts., in Berkeley & Oakland perspectively. They were responsible for quite a lot of positive accomplishments, as well!! Thanks for the accomplishments of The Black Panther Party. Early Civil Rights was a good part of history. Let's NOT forget!!!

This is awful and painful to watch. My grandmother was white, and I was raised in Arkansas in the early 70’s and I never experienced racism. However, when I moved to California in the mid seventies, I noticed that the schools were vastly different. I experienced racism in the late eighties while attending college. I’m grateful for my grandparents and great grandparents. I asked my mom if she experienced racism and she said that my grandmother was strict, and only allowed her and her siblings go to school, and play basketball 🏀 I believed her, because my mom was strict 😁😂🤣 my grandmother didn’t allow us to venture outside of the front yard. My great grandparents were very strict too, and so was my great aunt who lived down the road from my great grandparents. I was very intelligent at three years old and I pretend to be feeding the horses, or playing with the dogs. 😁😂🤣 I would walk down the road about a mile to my great aunt Nellie house for a slice of homemade coconut cake. 🤷🏽 I believe everyone white knew I belonged to my great grandparents and no one bothered me. One day in the 4th grade I walked all the way home from school to my grandmother’s house and almost gave her heart attack 😁😂🤣I never walked home again. I didn’t understand racism, especially when your half your family is white 🤷🏽♂️
This man said he was a man of the cloth , but NOT one time telling his story, did he glorify or thank GOD. Not one time, did he say he was blessed. This man said in so many words, that he and Martin Luther King was chosen to do a work for GOD. People, you better understand that Only GOD could give that kind of strength and determination for righteousness!!! ONLY a powerful and wise GOD can instruct them in wisdom to defeat the white man, Shame on him!! GOD said " I will not give my glory to another". Garza in the BIBLE said to certain scribes " If they are if GOD then you will not fight against them, BUT you will fight against GOD. Those white people understood VERY well, they were fighting against supernatural power and strength. I guarantee Martin Luther King understood he was chosen due to GOD given dreams. SAD he too never mention GOD in any of his speeches!! Yet his name went down in history. Well I thank GOD, amen!! Hallelujah!! Micah 7:8, Isaiah 42:8, Acts 5:39.
We just don't know how ( IMPORTANT ) this great man was , man I just want to say thank u.

Jean Childs was my cousin on my father's side.
They will always front center who They Want you to know without revealing the engine.
They don't want anyone looking under the hood.
Thank you all. Racism has gotten more subtle than it was before.
Well what happened in the Patty wagon did they let them go what happened?
They did time in jail until their bail was posted by the naacp.
When you look up the definition of voting or vote words matter and they have meaning behind them..
@13:55 all due respect to MLK but he had it wrong about a year before he was assassinated he renigged on that way of thinking.
He ain't a child of Satan but these racist people they is
