Efforts to preserve Atlanta church where Rev. Ralph David Abernathy preached

The historic West Hunter Street Baptist Church in Atlanta played a critical role in the Civil Rights Movement. The church is still active, but in a location where it moved to years ago. Efforts are being made by Ralph David Abernathy's family to preserve and restore the original building, which was a crucial site for planning Civil Rights Movement actions.

Attended this church many times, when Rev Abernathy was pastor when I was a student at Spelman college...
