I have the same problem，but I contact Mayflash support team and they sent me a new version N64 HDMI adapter which is working great so far . So you may contact Mayflash for replacement if the same or similar problems .

I got this one too. I bought it for the N64, but I had the same problems as you have. This product is REALLY bad for N64. The worst part is that their costumer service just doesn't give a f*ck. I tried to email them several times, but they just ignore my emails.

I thought that worse-case-scenario the screen would be blurrier than expected, but instead there is the constant flickering. Which makes me wonder: did they even test this product?
N64 can be a little tricky. I took found the jittery look to the graphics with upscalers. I purchased a upscaler off Amazon with S vIdeo cables and the picture is night and day difference. Perfect and crisp. I would suggest playing the N64 in S video for the best experience

does the gamecube appear to be clear than using composite cables
Yea does it allow the option for pushing it to 480p or is it straight up a composite converter

On gamecube, does it use progressive scan? How does it compare to playing gamecube games on wii in progressive scan using component cables?
No, this uses the av port, so it's either converting the composite or s-video 480i video signal
