I'm living on a boat close to a shallow area, I need to get a good camera because I see this stuff every day.
Gulf coast?
Don’t, it’s a dick move.
Do it man start your own channel with videos don’t listen to nobody just do it you never know where it’ll take you
AMEN I'll WATCH it LMAO
Good idea about starting your own channel with it. Extra income with little effort.
The guy trying to push the cat with his back was gold
Atlas! Lol
I appreciate the official adoption of the name "dock blocker."
Our camera guy Seth really pushed for this one hard lol
@@MiamiBoatRamps buy that man a beer!
Capt Bella ........ I LOVE the Boyton Dock BLOCKER!!!!
In the Kawarthas, in Ontario, you run up on the 'bar' and it's actually granite under you. Ouch.
fucking right
It’s not hard folks:
Green - going... Red - returning
And if you see waves or whitecaps in one spot in the channel - low water/sand bar
I always remember it by "Red Right Returning".
@@gc4644 yup. Always known it as green right go, red right return. Oh, and brown brown run aground apparently didn’t help these folks.
I wonder if this is why they have channel markers? 🤦🏼♂️
No that would be to easy🤣😂
Yea but that would mean you understand Marine navigation lol obviously these ppl do not know nothing about navigation
Funny thanks for sharing lol
Still trying to figure out what those poles with the red and green markers are there for.
Idk they should really mark the channels
epic.
Sounds great but sand moves. I have run aground smack dab in the middle of the channel. And when I was pushing off I could see deep cuts in the sand where others had done the exact same thing. Yes, idiots run aground all the time. But so do knowledgeable boaters. Don't be so quick to judge.
@@lbowsk WAIT!!! What??? Do you mean Stuff Happens?
OH GGGGeeeesssshhhhhh.....Really?
@@dougsprojects6431 Where did I say that, Doug? Are you off your meds today or just intentionally trying to come across like a putz? If the latter, well done! Congratulations on having never done something in a boat that you regret later. You must be quite an accomplished boater.
I've been running boats for over 40 years and have a USCG Masters License. I ran aground in the center of a channel once. And I have seen dozens of accomplished boaters wind up where they'd rather not be. We're not perfect. So, I am inclined to cut this guy some slack, and not jump in with instant ridicule, like many here have.
Pretty cool to see the Golden Girls out in the water by themselves.
Moving to Boynton Beach April 1st, from Chicago. Can't wait
Boating in Miami is crazy, that was a good Miami boat ramp
It’s pretty wild in Boynton Beach too.
The funny-part is the guy waited 7 hours if he had waited another hour he could've floated out of there with a little thrust. I hope saving that last hour was worth the $500 tow.
@James Patton No, you pay a monthly or yearly fee and it adds up fast.
Stick the same in a savings account and gain the interest.....
@@dougsprojects6431 the yearly fee is pretty cheap with unlimited services.
Jet ski wear ring has left the chat
Haha. He smoked that thing. Will vibrate like mad at high rpm
What a great spot to shoot this video. Please please please more of this 😜🤪🤩
Even with RUclips compressing the heck out of the video you can still see the sand just watching. Some people should not own boats ....... or be able to rent 😂
Real shallow that day even catching the jet skis
I work for red boat company this is a great video, wish we had a ramp like that in our area.
Love this type of video.
Ok I’ve got a little jon boat that only needs a few inches of water with a pole and even I still follow channel markers
At least the last guy saved money at the fuel pump!
I'm so happy you guys came up to Boynton Inlet. I hope you have good footage from the inlet, it gets pretty rough on windy days.
Need another one of these.
Wow! Rough day at Boynton!
Nice video.
7 hours stuck on the sandbar.im proudly standing up to piss off the bow.🧐🏴☠️⚔️😂
So much for competency on the water
Warns them "stay right" Goes LEFT LMAO
The man in the boat just need a beer
Gawwdam this happens a lot... LOL yeeah it's funny the first two times. But someone needs to put a sign up!
That will get you every time
Glad no one or no boat was hurt bad....
I’m waiting to see somebody hit this sandbar hard and turn their walk-thru windshield into a fly-thru! Lol 😂
In California on inland waterways we have Shoal Markers. Very handy. Not sure why there are none of these nifty ATONS in FL.
This happens because people see boats in the area they want to cut through and ignore the red markers. Duh.
That donzi sweet 16 lmao!!!
Red, Right, Return Is the sand bar marked? There are two channel markers,, green, in front of the grounded vessel. Is this just local knowledge? Or a newly formed sand bar?
Hello everyone
Hello
This really enforces my thoughts on the serious need for boaters drivers ed.
Along with regular drivers ed too. The worst.
I think it's pretty much safe to say that anyone on a jet ski has no idea what they are doing.
''... and on the 4th day, stuck bloke discovers *tides*.''
you would think at a spot with this many issues they would dredge the dam thing lmao
Because the sand won’t stay gone...waste of time and money
@James Patton Common sense no longer exists so yea.
@@russellkasprzyk4934 Guess it depends on the spot but where I live they do it every 2 years no problems here its like anything else has to be maintained in high traffic areas..
3136 do you not realize that there is already a full-size Channel within literally feet from where these boats are and not a lot of feet doesn't matter either way I think possibly you're missing the entire point of this video and that is these boaters are not paying close enough attention to the situation there's plenty of Channel there that's why you get to know your area before you make moves weather faster slow in your craft but you also pay attention to channel markers which you can see are many here in the video if you fall the markers and have your wherewithal about you even somewhat even if you're a beginner boater you will avoid situations like this it's nothing to do with dredging the only dredging that needs done is the brains of these people that do these kind of things regularly every weekend somewhere where there's water in the world that's why they call them Weekend Warriors
What is that first center console
I wanna know too xD
U could start a series called boyton bars
Wowww, incredible problems with the sandbars.... poor guys.
EARLY GANG WYAA?!?
I go in and out of Gateway alot. You rely have to take it wide and hit the channel center from like 200' out
How do these sand bars get like this? They move around right? Low tide? Are those signs there to warn about em?
Charts? We don't need no sticking charts.
Markers and warnings are for wimps!
When it's brown you run aground.
How much does it cost just to get towed off sand bar?
Was the Donzi trying to pull the boat off the bar the same guy that took
up the whole boat ramp in another video lol.
He just didn’t want him to be Lonely
I'm not from FL, but like how many sandbars are in this one channel? lol Also lets be real, if this many boats are ending up on it every day is it really marked that well? I'm looking at green marker that's in 10 inches of water haha. not sure how helpful that is. but again NE boater what do I know lol. The Camera angles don't give the best perspective (No fault of the camera guy) you go where you can get a shot I guess.
I wondered that myself. But from watching the volume of people and the amount of shenanigans and incompetence and lack of patience courtesy and respect from so many of these people it is not surprising
But ya prob could use a few more markers
I keep thinking I'm not seeing too many markers either, probably not even enough markers.
I’m coming to Boynton Beach next week when will you be there so I can see you And say hi on camera
Do you not have channel markers in the USA??
Lol That’s what those green square things are you see. Sounds like you would be on the sandbar too.
I've said it before and I'll say it again,, some ppl have no business owning/driving a boat..
Too bad you didn’t get the video of the first guy getting stuck on the sand bar. Curious to see how fast he was moving.
I'm guessing he was out there hanging around for awhile while the water was receding on him.
Had to of been going 40+
Not sure if you guys are going with “dock blocker” as the name for the sand bar but “the dock nazi” would definitely be a good one
Sea Tow... AKA, Pirates in Yellow Boats... Even if this gentleman was a Sea Tow customer they would have found excuses NOT to unground him... Get a Boat US membership and sleep well tonight... Good stuff thanks for posting.
Thats the opposite here in Galveston bay!
The red boats claim its a salvage for ungroundings. Sea Tow gets the job done.
That place is a land mine of sand bars. Why don't they dredge that a little?
I don’t think that’s a sandbar anymore. I think it’s an island now! It’s got birds standing on dry ground for cryin out loud! Lol
That looks like the red boat that banged the dock and left the door open on his vehicle blocking the dock. Then they had to get pulled off the ramp
Is it really poorly marked or are these people bad pilots?
Yes.
I'm seeing *some* markers, but they don't appear to go all the way out and around the bars. If you don't know the area, I could see a problem.
people run yachts through there with 6x the draft without issue.
South Florida where we drive cars just like we drive boats, shity
Just drove back from Mississippi. As soon as I hit Martin County the courtesy and cooperation and people all hovering around 78-82 in the 70 was over. 60 in the left lane 180 in the right. Empty lane in front of them. Merge in front of me for zero reason only to slow down. I love the scenery. 95 and the turnpike in southern Florida has the most clueless drivers. The other 800 miles was easy sailing.
That donzi in the first clip was also in another video coming in hot to the dock with no lines or cares in the world.
And had a hard time getting up the ramp as well, I think. Must be a Qualified Captain.
I realize that the camera is on Zoom but none the less that looks like a very narrow channel and usually the channel markers are not high and dry
It is narrow. But it’s very clearly marked and wide enough for two boats to pass. You just need to be in the channel and not merge where you please lol
👍👍😎
He won't make that mistake again. Hopefully the dude brought sunscreen.
Plenty of baboons at boat ramps!
Am I missing something? Are there channel markers that people are disregarding, or are these sandbars not well marked? It’s hard to tell from this vantage point.
He is Living that sand bar Life...Like down in miami
I ALWAYS ask locals what and where to avoid if not familiar with a launch point.
Yeah never send it over ripple water! 😂😂
Rookie mistake! 😜😂😂👍
At least it was only 7 hours. I was on a buddy going through mash at night. He zoomed out his plotter to much and so it didn’t show the island he drove us up one. Highest tide of the month. Right as the tide started to go out. Took three hours using 2x8 we were bringing to the duck camp, prying and pushing it back through mud and mash grass to floatable water.
He keeps saying the island wasn’t on the chart. I zoomed it and and low and behold there it was.
The unnamed island in palmetto bayou has been named Boudreaux island.
My saying after many years of having a boat and then getting ride of it. Better to have a friend with a boat than owning one. Now there is an astrick, unless your friend is a moron
Bronco since your out there for 7 hours how about marking the channel
Why not have safety markers on sandbars?
That's the same donzi from the new video!
Boat karen candy. Wouldnt mind taken 7 hr nap on sandbar
You would probably make a ton of money with a small tug boat.
This sandbar is becoming a big problem, they have to notice the ripple in the water ,I hope someone puts up a flag.🤪🤪🤑😑
@@fastwin493 i know they are called channel markers, but the problem is they move with the tides and a sign should be put up at dock sand bars blocking use caution when navigated the intlet .( or something for those who not formally with this boat ramp. 🤗🤗
Am very familiar with water hazard maps be around boats all my life.
@@fastwin493 I agree they should do something at that boat ramp the markers are a permanent mark but sand bars around that ramp change every day Hopefully they will put up a sign warning people ,one salt to another, 😉
Lol how much does your boat weigh?
Are the Channel makers that small? $500, I would have waited, I spent 7 hours waiting whats one more hour.
When stuck in the sand push sideways on the bow and turn it around except with the cat, won't work.
I bet quite a few newbies get stuck there
Rooke mistake you can't pull the boat from the rear because the rear will dig itself into the mud instead you need to instal the rope in to the front end and pull it from the side.
Absolutely correct.
2:50 i just got my stimmy money
Does the guy on the ski not realize he could probably push it off?
Why when people hit sand do they keep going forward? Everytime people try to go forward instead of just reversing..
If I ever come down to the area I definitely want to go to the boat ramp and watch all this stuff play out. You can't buy this type of entertainment! Not sure why the guy on the V drive was standing over the engine. Definitely didn't help things. The new jet ski the tolerances are now a little looser. Thanks for the entertainment.
I am afraid he need to replace that jet on the jet ski
When it’s brown you run aground 😐...😆😂😂😂
Beached as bro
Broncos guru. Do you run a personal insta? Give me a shout, lol
Got sand?
My question is, why don't they just dredge the sand bar?
The sand bar...
=...SAND TRAP

I wonder how many people are new to this channel and how many are repeat offenders.
I do not know the laws down there buy it amazes me on how many kids are not wearing life jackets
It isn't low water, it is high bottom.
