Well, the original Beady Long Legs and Burrowing Snagret were originally from Pikmin 1, leaving only the Bug-Eyed Crawmad, which is a Pikmin 3 original. Only the music originated from Pikmin 2.

The only time we hear music from past Pikmin games is in the tutorial with Olimar. In the fight with the Porquillon (the spiny thing), this is the music that plays, but when you find it (as well as the tusked blowhog) in the actual game, it plays different music. This probably means that the boss theme we’ll hear in actual boss fights is the one that we hear in that first trailer when that disco arachnorb was shown.
Don't worry about it, maybe it IS posible tho, after all we only got the demo tutorial to confirm that this arrangement is in the game, and maybe it wouldn't be the only time we'll hear it, but idk, you may also be right (I honestly hope that the disco arachnorb gets his own theme that would be sick)

For each "boss attack" i imagine the high shrill noise is a captain calling the pikmin, and since the 4th one sounds like there are multiple i imagine they all are. I also find it weird that the "boss defense" part had it's harmony and melody swapped compared to the original song Edit:spelling

I wish more of the OG bosses were in Pikmin 3, the only one was the Burrowing Snagret, and even then they turned it into a hybrid of the OG Snagret and the Pileated Snagret
Because the crawmad isn't as intimidating as the other two. The shaggy long legs ang burrowing snagret just appear out of nowhere and both move quickly..all crawmad does is jump out of a hole
@@lewismcdonald985 there might be a hole to show where it's gonna come from but it does still appear instantly without a warning, it's still a beast that isn't as easy to take down than the other smaller creatures and can be a threat if not dealt with correctly like the other mid bosses

This remaster is great but i find it really strange that they decided to make the harmony for the defense cue the melody in this version.
I miss the old boss defense, It added so much tension. (especially with the Snagrets)
