I wanted three things out of the Surface 8: - better battery life - a much better CPU - smaller bezels - even if the rest stayed the same! *Welp, I got two out of three it seems based on the leaks!* XD And I know some people actually do defend having them, because it's additional grapping space without touch, which is especially comfortable for drawing while in tablet mode, but this ain't a wacom graphic tablet. You won't need the space for extra buttons or a shortcut remote. Therefore I think something between the current bezels of the 2019 model and the those seen on the surface X would have been perfect! Still enough to give you grappling space, but small enough to increase the screen size in the same form factor! Seeing how it should have enough power under the hood I might still consider getting one though. I just love the idea of drawing on the go with fairly huge PSD files, than dropping the file in a One-Drive or similar cloud based services and than keep going at home on my Wacom. I know it would be possible as well if not esier so on Apple side of things _(especially now with the iPad specific versions of PS and Ai),_ but I need Windows devices for my architecture and general 3D gigs. Building a Windows based eco-system just makes more sense for me! Still, the bezels really bother me!
Please do not buy the pro 7 I’m working in the IT service and the fan is going crazy and hot in touch even after a fresh image ,Microsoft recognise that and they can do nothing just wait for the 8
Smaller bezel makes sense because very few people hold these like they would an iPad. We don’t need the bezels for holding, for example. They don’t serve a lot of good purpose. At this point it’s just lazy engineering to stick to the same form factor. Maybe they’re trying to use up all their stock of the body and lcds?
Purchase Decision needed. I want to know if the surface pro 8/7 plus would be good for working on Microsoft or iPad Pro/MacBook Air will be better ? Thank You😊
Basically: With the Surface pro you got a 2in1 Device (a Windows-powered Notebook and a Tablet) and with the iPad Pro you just get the tablet (but with a mobile OS) or with the MacBook Air you just get the Notebook (but with macOS). So its up to you: if you just want one device that can do both, I would go for the Surface 8 (pls wait), but if you want a great battery life, a fast OS and if you are ok with a mobile OS (iPadOS), than go for the iPad Pro. Remember: You cant run specific programs on an iPad, its still just a mobile device. If you want a full Notebook tho (also with great battery life), go for the Macbook Air (its fast, and you got MacOS (if you like that)). So first I would think about the OS: MacOS, iPad OS (mobile) or Windows. Then, about the type of device you want: A 2-1, a Tablet or a full Notebook. But remember: You can also use the iPad Pro with a keyboard -> so basically as a notebook, but with a mobile OS. However, you have less connectivity options, etc. You see, all of those three devices have their pro and cons, its really up to you, what you need or want. About the price: Basically they´re all almost the same (about $1000 - $1100). Hope that helps!
@@pizzasupplier wow i have also need to this ans.but now you give me perfect ans.but brother i am a gaming person.although i know ipad pro is too much powerful for mobile games.so i want to know can i run Mobile games for surface tab?

Is the mid- to late January timeline for the Pro 8 and Laptop 4 likely to hold? What will be the effect on Pro 7 and Laptop 3 prices upon the introduction of the new devices? I strongly agree with the opinion that the Pro X is a more desirable form factor than the Pro 7. Frankly, I don't see Microsoft's responding well to consumer wishes for any of their retail devices. Microsoft makes its money with business customers and cloud services.
So when you recorded the video you talked about the 8 coming in Jan, now it’s Feb. May we consider that the 7+ is what was rumoured to be the 8? It fits the spec but is only available for corporate customers. I agree with your observations on the 7 and need a device by latest end March... So wait or not?
The Surface Pro 7 is still one of the best detachable. The battery and some driver bugs could be better but overall when it comes to versatility and performance it is a great device. If your workflow fits a convertible you should take a look at the Lenovo Yoga line order HP Envy x360. Both pretty great in my opinion.
The surface pro is meant to provide a tablet experience as well, not just laptop. So you need proper bezels to have a tablet experience, otherwise we endup with our fingers on the screen part.
@@ZigSputnik Yes, but it can be un-necessary power consumption, which is high priority for such device. What would be the benefit of scaling up and down the screen just to fake bezels ?
@@theancientvoice9272 Get rid of the bezels and you significantly increase the screen space. You are getting closer to the next size up without increasing the size of the case. Power consumption is a valid point, but how much more would it be? Have a look at the Dell XPS13 2in1 in a shop. When I first saw the Dell screen I thought it was the 15" model! But the case is so compact. Love at first sight! But unfortunately they are now only offering the 4k screen with the £2k+ options, so that's why I'm looking at the Surface Pro. 1080p is too low res for reading from a 13" screen.
I think the desing could be improved, like bigger ( 14 ) insted of 12.3 or messures like that. Also it could be thinner and coud have the Usb port that every one wants. Adding a better life time at least 20 hours of full work or video play idk... that is what I personally looking for
What you’re saying makes sense. It’s an outdated design, albeit a working one, but they did attempt a small refresh with the Pro X and it would be nice to see them port some of the design queues to the intel lineup.
Microsoft should continue their Surface Pros as tablets - it is its strength while still able to be a laptop. - Improve Windows touch interface (do not sacrifice Window's functionality in the process) - This is 1 one of 2 major things why I stopped using Surface Pro 4 - get rid of that proprietary magsafe connecter and make it as an add on adaptor to USB-C instead. Those 50 people who like the magsafe can still have it as an attachable addon, in the meantime more USB-C Thunderbolt ports can take up that space instead. - get rid off to the kick stand so as to allow the device to be thinner OR give more room for internal specs and larger battery - The use of external keyboard holder can do the job of the kick stand like Apples magic keyboard - but improve on that by allowing more angles of adjustment and to be able to flip all the way round entirely The battery is time is important for many people and allowing more room for a battery as well as optimizing Windows (not the power options) will go along way This is 2 of 2 major reasons why I stopped using Surface Pros since 4. Once MS can sort that out, I am will drop kick my 2020 iPad Pro to family members make the switch and never look back again. iOS running the iPad is killing me and I am sick and tired of Apple having more control over the device than me, not allowing me to install what ever apps I want from where else I want.
A single usb-c port is the deal breaker for me. I returned my sp7 because of this.I was hoping for 2 usb-c this time around but I guess it's not happening.
If anyone has the same requirement, the surface pro x (sq2) has 2 usb c ports. The arm processor can be a turn off (some apps just won't work), but if your use case is somewhat like mine (online work), it fits the bill. It's costly for what you get though!
yup don't waste your money. I bought Surface pro x and I love it, but I wish that Microsoft invest into CPU segment and integrate a CPU as powerful as the M1.
This argument only makes sense if you're actively holding and drawing. Even for people who do that, they would only do it .0001 percent of the time. The big bezels don't make sense. New people aren't going to gravitate towards somethign that still looks like the surface pro 3 of 2014.
I was just going to complain about your other video and now I don't have to because you're being so nice about the computer I just bought and I'm waiting for. You were raining on My parade and I didn't like it LOL....
What do you think about the Microsoft Surface Pro lineup?
As I'd want it primarily for art, I'm hoping for the pen wobble issues to be fixed with an upgrade to wacom tech.
