00:00 Intro
02:40 Start of the Movie
16:20 How do people learn to sell stuff
17:00 Dope Boy University Ad/Skit
48:05 News article about "Sonny's" murder
49:00 Final thoughts about Paid in Full Развлечения
The opening scene with Rico, Ace, and Mitch eating at the table set the tone for the rest of the movie...Mitch and Ace should have known from the jump that Rico was going to be problem going forward.
There were so many signs that Rico was trustworthy. How he acted after Ace was shot would have been a big clue for me
They thought they could handle RICO. If you messing with a RICO and your on. You got to put him in his own place and position. As long as he's around he got more hungry. Watching your moves
And sees fear. Get to thinking
He better for that spot.
That Dope Boy University ad was funny af 😂😂😂
😂😂😂 Thank you!
I agree! That was hilarious 😂 😂😂😂!
Rest in Peace Ron Chepha Jones “I see ya shining”
RIP, he was an amazing actor
Oooh yes, I’m excited you got a chance to watch this lmao. Paid in Full is a way better film than Belly, but sadly it didn’t do well at the box office when it premiered.
I finally feel like one of the cool kids 😂😂
The part about mitch's little brother getting kidnapped was actually based on actual events and he was lid by his uncle
Wasn't ALL of it based on actual events? I'm pretty sure it ism these were real people
Yea, I post the newspaper article about the real events in the video
You have earned a subscriber with that Dope Boy University skit!! Comedic genius! 😂😂😂
Thank you so much!!!! ❤️ ❤️
Girl, your questions about drug selling school and your detour into dope boy university had me 🤣😂🤣😅
My brain really just being taking dips, and turns when watching these movies 😂😂😂
Based on a true story, they was only like 16/17 at the time. Ricco real name was Alpo Martinez and he was just murdered in Harlem in 2022
Yes, you are definitely supposed to hate Calvin . 😂
I knew he was a snake!! 😂😂
20:30 it's not a bad buisness model. If you're selling @ a cheaper price but taking competition's customers.. Then you end up making more because they don't have anyone that will buy.. Then once everyone is buying your product.. You up the price.. That's actually a very smart & strategic way of selling your product in buisness.. You undercut your competion with a better product & cheaper price then steal their customers
You're right! Thank you for the information because this can be applied to all forms of business not just street pharmacy
Classic hood movie based on true events from real life Harlem drug kingpins in the 1980's Azie Faison, Alpo Martinez and Richard Porter.
Cam'ron deserved an Oscar for his role as Rico
Yes, my all time favorite movie. Also, love this channel ❤
Thank you for watching!!!! 💕
This was a true story about Rich Porter, Azie, Alpo
Rich Porter (Mitch), Azie (Ace), Alpo (Rico)
SISTA GURL!!!!!!!!!! You gotta be an 80s baby. How have you not seen "Paid In Full"? Wow LOL
At some point in life I just had no interest in any drug related movies. You could probably list every drug centered movie after '98 and I probably have not seen them 🤷🏾♀️
You said Mitch had a bad business model. What?? He took over Harlem by selling less and taking the other dealers customers. He made himself the only play in town and still made millions. It's more money than if he charged higher.
It's not that people like sad movies . But it's sad to say that this a reality for some of us. That's why people watch these movies for some it's entertaining but for some it hits close to home. This is the realest best hood movie in my opinion.
Said it for me 💯
Do Menace II Society next
"Drive Bys" was a West Coast thing.
That makes a lot of sense now that you mention it!
Definitely wasn’t a bad business deal on Aces part. Selling his coke wholesale meant he could up the price/s after taking the other dealers customers.
So glad I found your channel!
Welcome!! 💕💕
This was a great review B!
Thank you for watching!!!
I really enjoyed your video! You had you right there with you!
Thank you!!!! 💕💕
This was a good movie. I remember when it first came out. I have watched it in years.
Rich was like 20 when he died I think … from what I’ve read he had houses in jersey but he would still always be in Harlem wit his family
oh ok! I wondered how it was so flashy but was still living at home. But what you said does make a lot of sense
They were 16 17 years old....they were teenagers running a million dollar operation @@SistaGurlonFilms
You know the real life Rico came out of jail couple years ago his real name is Alpo Martinez, but he was murdered in 2021
I love the video, keep up the great work
Thank you!
You gotta watch the documentary Game Over. It’ll have you crying when you get to the part about the little brother. A or AZ did a few interviews on Vlad tv also. If you didn’t see that, you gotta watch em
Reading the article about the murder was sad by itself, I cannot imagine watching a documentary. I know I would be a crying mess
Classic hood movie crazy movie the real story was even crazier.
The real story is very sad and crazy!
This is the first time I’ve seen this movie uncut (sort of) through your reaction.
I’ve seen the BET version like 5000 times😂
Also this movie needed more folks from the Wire. I only saw like 3 or 4.
The Wire and this movie came out in the same year so maybe a lot of those actors weren't available or something 🤔 But I do see why people love this movie
love the 80's intro it excellence. +1sib
Thank you!!!
mitch never bought his own crib because hes supposed to be young.
& great business model lol. selling drugs is illegal. its not about how much you can sell for, its about how fast you can flip. fast=more. ACE was playing chess.
16:34 the exact way you just saw …somebody already do the do show you how to the do!!
Makes sense!
such a good movie
Agreed!
Cam really snuff’d that dude in the car.
24:56 9months later but I feel I have to answer that…he was arrested and charged for murder …and the charges were dropped lack of evidence
Ohhhh ok! Thank you!
I enjoyed your reaction Sis keep it up
Thank you for watching!!
Na this a hood classic fashoooooo
Don't forget that Loaded Weapon sweet. 😉
Ace didn’t snitch technically he gave a fake plug to Rico
No u don’t up the price the less the price the more money u make especially if your shit is good u make money faster that’s why In the dope boys started selling crack it was a cheaper and better way to get high that was a time where all that shit was still new
Ultimately I don't really care how well any drug dealer did selling a substance that devastated the black community, especially during that time. I'll just be really honest. If yall say he did it right then that's great
my movie!
1:44 i did not know that.
I just recently found it out myself
My folks was users that’s how I learned street prices
I'm sorry to hear that you had to experience that
Rico is based off of Alpo Martinez he was killed back in 2021
I was actually surprised when I learned that Alpo was still living until 2021. Based on what I had read about his crimes, reputation, and temper I fully expected that someone would have killed him years ago. That sounds bad to say but that's usually how people with his lifestyle end up.
@@SistaGurlonFilms Yeah that's true unfortunately he couldn't stay out of the hood, I don't know why he didn't move out of the state when he got out of prison
that would have been the best decision for him but I have a feeling his ego was too big to leave
@@SistaGurlonFilms Yeah you might be right about that one
This review was hilarious lol
Thank you for watching!!!
You should watch Roll Bounce from 2005 i think you like it,if you haven't seen it its like a teen coming of age movie but that's all i say because i dont wanna spoil it including the setting if you haven seen it.
I've watched Roll Bounce a couple of times. It's decent but not anything I would want to watch again
I meant ICE
Their smacking during the dinner scene 🤢. Over there acting like it’s goodfellas.
Right!!! That was irking me so bad!!! 😂😂
Never liked this film because at this point they were glorifying it, the originators of this genre of modern black film juice, boyz n the hood and south central and menace were cautionary tales where the message was clear. But good in your reaction that you liked the movie and all.
This film was based off a true story tho they jus had to change the name of the character
Right I need more training lol
😂😂😂
I LOVE UR REACTION TO THIS BEAUTIFUL BLACK QUEEN THIS MOVIE 🎥🍿 WAS SOMETHING ELSE LOVE 😘 CAMRON WAS SOMETHING ELSE LOL 😆😁 ITS A VERY HOOD EMOTIONAL MOVIE THO those diamonds scene was something else 😮😊

0:57 the way some folks don't appreciate getting old. Be lying on their age
Are you referring to me not appreciating getting old?
