In the late 1980s, Ace (Wood Harris) is a young man employed by a Harlem dry cleaning shop, working hard to stay out of the drug business. While making deliveries, he meets Lulu (Esai Morales), a drug dealer who convinces Ace to join him. Ace recruits his friends Mitch (Mekhi Phifer) and Rico (Cam'ron), and the trio become major players in the Harlem drug underworld, a violent business that will test the friends' loyalty and wits as the money rolls in and the dangers grow beyond their control.

Paid In Full is definitely a hood classic 💯. I'm pretty sure we had either the DVD 📀 or VHS 📼 of this movie 😂😂😂.
Sn: Mekhi Phifer in the late 90s - early 2000s was that PRESSURE !! 😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰
I know y’all was crush on him hardddd. He look af though
The real life story that this film is based on is even more disturbing and heartbreaking
I can imagine.
Is there a documentary
@@WretchedDrummer Yes. It’s on RUclips. ruclips.net/video/9PwODBCQAu0/видео.htmlsi=k9RAodz0Bw3QDPm7
@@WretchedDrummer There's been a few cable "true crime" docs on it. A couple at least anyway. There's tons of RUclips docs I believe.
@@ViraL_FootprinT.ex.e can u recommend me some please thanks
Rico somehow reminds me of Bishop in Juice.
Mmmmmhmmm trigger happy af
Old NYC... the real NYC....A YRUE STORY ON TOP OF IT ALL
NYC Is always gon be lit. Crazy this was based on a true story
UPTOWN IN THE 80s to mid 90s was 🔥! Before gentrification Harlem summer nights… DUN… WHAT… forget about it! Fashion, cars, women & hustler’s & I’m from jersey but if you had dope car & gettin money that’s what you did!
I can imagine it was always lit outside
The real Rico (Alpo) was the most legendary Afro-latino hustler from that era. He was released from prison and was murdered during the pandemic. His son Popperazi Po is active on social media
Ohh wow. You know what’s crazy. I’m just remembering how it happened. I knew I wasn’t buggin. It happened by a drive by. I remember reading about it. It just came back to me. Wow that’s crazy
Don’t forget, Alpo was an all around piece of 💩 of a person. Never forget that part
The real Alpo I was from my block East River Projects. Even after his release.. He was always outside
Alpo also testified against men in his organization, as most gangstas do. Which is why we should stop celebrating gangstas so much. Most of them do the very thing they say they would never do: cooperate for a lesser sentence.
Yep Ritch, Azie and Alpo was running Harlem
Check out How High(2001), Belly(1998), Get Rich Or Die Tryin(2005)(50 Cent life movie- I read that 50 said this movie is about 75% accurate), Fresh(1994), ATL(2006), Malibu’s Most Wanted(2003), All About The Benjamins(2002), Above The Rim(1994), Four Brothers(2005), Next Friday(2000), New Jack city(1991), Training Day(2001), Set It Off(1996), Friday After Next(2002), and Money Talks(1997).
The real life Azie Faison who the movie portrays as "Ace" has a really riveting and insightful VLADTV interview of this era of his life, growing up with Rich Porter (rip) aka " Mitch" in Harlem, how he was enticed to go from the cleaners to selling coke, meeting Alpo aka Rico, his feelings about him, getting shot up in that Bronx apt with 4 other people, and of course the ordeal of the Rich's little brother being kidnapped and Rich being killed before he could get him back .
Pat Porter, who is Rich's sister and Azie 's babymother also has a Vladtv interview of these things from her pov having lost two brothers because of the drug game .
Remember, these dudes was like 17 and 18 years old at their PEAK!!😮
Crazyyyy money making Mitch in the beemer

Lmaoooooo I know niggas that act just like him. But come on watching the tape in the spot.. NAH
when i tell you this movie scarred me!!! I was only like 19 when i first saw this *and* i was high when I watched it. Man, I was so devastated. At that age, I didn't catch any of Rico's red flags. So the end had me depressed like i really knew them people lol little Sonnny! 😩😩😭😭😭😭

Hood Classic!!
Really was a great film. Hood classic for sure
My older sister used to judge me because I had never seen Paid In Full and a couple of other Black classics, she tried to take my Black card 🤣🤣 by the time I finally watched it and Juice I was like 20 or 21 😅
Don’t even trip sis. These movies are for adults to watch. When these mfs come in my comments chattin about how I’m capping about now watching this shit. I just laugh because it’s okay that I wasn’t a child watching niggas toteup guns and murk people. I would’ve been traumatized lowkey
@@DagiTingz I definitely agree. People forget that some people also grew up in different eras as well. For example, my sister is 20 years older than me (I’m 25) so of course she and other people who were in their teens and young adulthood when these movies dropped would have seen them. Ignore those people because how do they sound 🤣 that’s something that wouldn’t even make sense to lie about
heyy Dagi😸 do you take suggestions? would love to see your take on more hood moviess frr realll NY shii 🫶🏿 mad love twinn

arent you from Ny? This stroy was known in all the 5 borroughs. I remember reading about this when i was hustling up there in Brooklyn. Shit made me move different when i was in the streets
Yes I’m from Ny but my upbringing and era was different. I would always see people from school wanna have the name like rich porter but I never put it together plus growing up in a strict Christian household. That’s the reason why I never saw any of these classics. But I’m glad I get to enjoy them now
can't get a crib with drug money, they gonna want a legit paper trail
you're thinking from a modern perspective. This happened in a whole different era. There were no "paper trails" back then for housing. If you had the money, you had the spot. There wasn't even internet back then lol.
I love this movie
Ayeee I’m glad you could enjoy it again
Please react to Boys In The Hood next !✨
Dagi you should watch The alpo story it's the truth about the paid in full movie
I’ll definitely watch it because I didn’t even know there was a backstory
Okay cool let me know what you think when you watch it
Great reaction, watch city of god next
Thanks gang🫶🏾 don’t worry that’s coming soon
Considering the fact that you haven’t seen some big classics….. Do you at least know the big classic that they were watching at the movies?
Well you gotta understand that I was born in the late 90s so I’m the beginning of Gen Z plus I have strict parents. But I did know these movies were big. I just saved watching them so we could enjoy them together
Yo I Just LUV Me Some Regina Hall, Dats Wifey Right There 🙌🏾🙌🏾🥰😍
Nahhh Detroit was like that back in the day too. We have a whole island that’s a park(a little bigger than Central Park) where we used to hang like they did in front of Willie’s. It was a mix of that opening scene and FreakNik 😂
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
and alpo finally got killed a couple of yrs ago in harlem for all the dirty stuff he did...he killed a bunch of other folks, and they were people who trusted him, from new York to d.c., u should go and research alpo
You know what’s crazy. When he got on killed. I remember seeing it and reading the reports but it slipped my mind that it was Alpo they was talking about. I went into this reaction without doing any research cause I like enjoying it for what it is and then I go into research after watching.
Where u from in Ny? I’m from farrock
I’ll let you take a guess. I won’t confirm nor deny for my privacy but yktv. NYC 🗣️🗣️🗣️
@@DagiTingzI’m from Philly but you give Brooklyn. Lol

Correct me if I’m wrong, but you’re from NY aren’t you lol ? I can kinda tell by the accent. ( I’m from NJ lol)
Yes I’m from NYC 🗣️✨

Sugar hill movie reaction?
Gotchu gang soon
How you like the NY representation
Impressed. We still talk the same and move the same 😂😂😂
Are you from NYC?
Yes I am
@@DagiTingz I can hear it lol. I love this movie
@DagiTingz what part of ny
@@welcome_to_macnelsonworld a lot of people wanna know but for my privacy I won’t disclose but we in the hood 😏
Didn't the real Ricco die last year or something like that? He got shot.
Yeahhh I’m just now remembering how everything happened
hold on, you don't know the real story? please don't let your fellow new yorkers knows this lol
Lmaooooo so here’s the thing right. I remember seeing the reports about when alpo died but I had no idea that this was about him. I like going into my reactions blind so I can just enjoy it for what it is. Then after I finish watching I do the research. When I start Patreon imma start posting what I find too after watching a film
This film basically just show you how foul the street hustle lifestyle can be.
Very much so
