Hyatt Regency Koh Samui Review: Regency Suite

Hyatt Regency Koh Samui is the newest Hyatt Regency in Thailand, besides previously existing Hyatt Regency Hua Hin, Hyatt Regency Phuket and Hyatt Regency Sukhumvit Bangkok (all of which have been previously covered here on Hotelhoppers as well).
As World of Hyatt Globalist, we got upgraded on their Regency Suite, which had partial sea views from the balcony.
Being a new hotel, everything felt very new and fresh. Regency Suite has a resort-focused layout, with areas for relaxing in-suite time, on the balcony, bedroom, living room area and spacious bathroom. We liked the unique shape and decent size of the bathtub, which seems perfect for couples.
Whether you are a World of Hyatt Globalist or not, when staying in the Regency Suite, you'd also have access to Regency Club, which offers soft drinks and some snacks all day, plus happy hour with cocktails and more hot and cold bites in the evening.
The beach felt private and pleasantly windy while chilling on the beachfront recliner chairs.
