As someone who works in a kitchen I'm surprised to see the chaos so accurately depicted. Especially the running around in a circle panicked and frustrated.
Now Ellen is doubly pained- whatever is ailing her and the fact that she can't- correctly -explain to Jane and Andy how to properly run a kitchen. Get well soon Ms. Rose!
Overcooked gameplay eh! I think Ellen no matter where she is gets a feeling of frustration and anger anytime Oxtra plays Overcooked. 😋 Like Spiderman's "Spidy Sense" Ellen gets warned of incoming bad management decisions by OXBOXTRA in overcooked.🤔
I feel like I should point out that you get a coin bonus if you do them in the right order. This might be why you sometimes struggle to get more stars. I mean it may also be the panicked screaming, who can say? 😆
Unbelievable. I was binge-watching your hitman videos while waiting for my overcooked game to update, and suddenly you upload. What kind of coincidence is this?
I was about to say that I hope Ellen doesn't see this, but by the end I was genuinely impressed. Efficiency wasn't perfect but they were even paying attention to the sequence of orders and washing up regularly, this was good work.
Oranges are orange, Peaches are symbolic of the corrupt monarchy that have been oppressing the Toad race for years and should be stripped of their wealth and power.
Spin on the spot! Spin on the spot! Seriously, though, this is probably the least-chaotic I've ever seen Overcooked from you guys -- possibly because there's only two of you, and neither is Mike or Luke. XD Still, looks like you're having fun, and I hope Ellen is cheered by your at least somewhat competent play. ;P (Seriously, get well soon, Ellen!)
I just started watching OX recently and it's making me weirdly (and surprisingly!) emotional to realised there are English peeps who talk about and celebrate CNY so matter-of-factly. Cheers from a Malaysian who's been living in the UK for over 3 years!
Wonderful! Love this so much, my kids and I love Overcooked 2. You should stream this like your Mario Party with Luke & Ellen. The madness between all four of you would be hilarious. Keep up the great work Jane & Andy & Mike.
Jane : We should open a Restaurant. I have the perfect idea, you gave a little box shaped shop called OX Box, and your dishes are made out of oxes , I like beef anyway
I'm glad Andy chose to say the well wishes in Cantonese rather than the more common dialect of Mandarin. I'm also really impressed with his pronunciation. Very on point
Ellen take care of yourself and get well quickly. I think you can be ?proud? of Jane and Andy, they didn't burn down the kitchen. haha Fun one, Thanks.
Ah man, I saw you online playing this the other day and hoped I would sneak in to the player lobby. Overcooked e-sports should be a thing, been playing this game maybe too much recently 😅
Why not? People everywhere eat loads of mammals. Some European nations are known for rat dishes, so I don't get why it would be worse than beef, pork, horse, etc. or "racist" as others suggest.
@@patrickmccurry1563 Just because people eat them, doesn't mean they're hygienic. I mean, which animal was the one responsible for a few deadly nation ending plagues in medieval Europe, again? lol
@@cthulhufhtagn2483 Fair enough. I know rats are super cute and intelligent. I never actually had one for a pet, but I've known a lot of people who've had them and they are so sweet. And I'm not just saying that because I _was_ born in a rat year. lol
Ellen, if you are reading this, please don't watch this for the sake of your own health. Hope you get better soon! EDIT: Hmmmm, Jane and Andy actually exceeded my expectations. Well played 👏
I think it would only be problematic if left out, or the plate wasn't properly washed afterwards. It's not like safe fish will instantly make nearby fruits dangerous.
So apparently, even though it's the Year of the Rat, it's not clever to have a rat-themed dinner. People can't recognize a good idea when they hear one!

Ellen: *Squints eyes in scrutiny* "Acceptable."

"There's a prawn on the floor. Use that."
I mean some of the restaurants I've seen in my time that's probably about right...
It just makes me think of that episode of Kitchen Nightmares where someone legitimately did try to pick food off on the floor and cook it for someone.
We all know that the best part of Chinese food is the mystery.
Callum Donington not a mystery anymore

"Send Noods" - Andy and Jane 2020
Is noone gonna talk about how they said "Send noods to the wak"?
"Send noods" is a dangerous joke for a youtuber, IMO.
Though I think it might be funny to send them pictures of noodles wearing pants. "Don't worry; these noods aren't nude."

Grapes, peaches, oranges are "round" fruits. Round fruits are thought to bring good fortune. 🍊🍑🍇
With a knife, all fruits can be round fruits.

Jane's "cool cool cool" song at 4:38 sounds quite a bit like the animal village song.....lowkey trolling andy once again
