This game really does a good job of duplicating what it's like to be a chef for a busy restaurant during the rush. The reason for the name Mincemeat in Mince Pies, is because historical in England meat used to just mean Food, it didn't just apply to animal or fish, the juicy part of fruit also used to be called Meat.
These days the name shouldn't be too much of a mix up since Mince Pies are made out of Mincemeat (fruit), whereas ground up meat is called Minced Meat.

Wish Jane wouldn't help Mike so much it would of been so funny to see the kitchen go up in flames on his first attempt.

    juxtaposition...
Mike: two chefs running like mad around a kitchen.
Andy: pleasant walk thru the wilderness with a bowl of stew.

That was probably the hardest challenge yet. Even MasterChef Ellen could have problems with it! And as Jane did not done it either (in the video) i would call it a moral victory for Mike :)

Can you guys please give Mike another challenge? Jane can't even do this, the supposed professional, can't even get to the end of the level! I'm just saying I like a fair Xmas Challenge 2020.
EDIT: Just realized these aren't live they're pre-recorded, so what I'm asking is most likely impossible. Oh well. At least they acknowledge it lol

On your question of why it's called mincemeat: original recipes from the ~15th century did indeed contain meat, usually mutton, beef or venison, as well as the typical fruit, spice and alcohol. Beef suet was and still is often used as well. The omission of actual meat is only a fairly recent development (20th century). The ones we do in medieval reenactment contain meat 😁
Also, one of their original names was "tartes of flesh" 🙃
