Oh no, we're back in the Overcooked kitchen O_O Ellen and Luke fight to keep things relatively not-on-fire in Overcooked 2 on Nintendo Switch, in this fresh-out-the-oven E3 gameplay. Enjoy!
Outside Xtra This looks like so much fun
I learned from the devs when they were on Nintendo's stream that if you pre-order the game for Switch you'll get a platypus chef.
Outside Xtra Look on the bright side Luke, at least Ellen didn't get violent this time :)
As a person that makes their living in the food service industry, I'm all for putting "Got to be Cheffing!" on a T-shirt- think of the sales and employee morale boost...
“I’m going to go into the restaurant and tell everybody they’re ordering wrong” I think I know why Luke chose to be a game journalist and not go into retail
Hot air balloon level: "Here's lots of fire, that's helpful for cooking, right?"
Ellen and Luke: "WE'RE MAKING SALAD"
Those are some dedicated chefs. The balloon is on fire and we're falling couple miles down, but we're gonna keep cooking. 5/5 cheffing.
Luke: See, everything is okay!
Narrator: Everything, in fact, was not "okay."
These levels are getting wild. You're cooking in a hot air balloon which crashes into a sushi restaurant. It's like an action movie...but with salad.
“Oh this’ll be easy cause look how compact this is ... so this’ll be simple!” Luke have you heard of the concept famous last words? 😂
I love how FRESH this footage was. Some of the jokes were a little SALTY, but the game itself looks like a real DELICACY. Can't wait for the MAIN COURSE to be released.
what a vegetable medley of puns!!
OMG its like you've writtem video pun scripts for OxBoxTra before 😁
Steve Malone nah, I just like puns
It's as simple as ABC. Always Be Cheffing
It’s time for Ellen Ramsay and Luke Nguyen for another cooking showdown!
I'm not sure my friendships could handle another overcooked game
Luke, Ellen, you know I'll need more of this when it comes out, right? Like a full playthrough.
Outside Xtra + Overcooked = The one time in your life where you kind of hope everything goes on fire.
Is that the Notification Squid in the thumbnail? If it isn't, it should be.
I'm definitely the Ellen of the group when playing Overcooked. :D
I think this is how my gameplay will go if my friends and I play this game. Lots and lots of "Oh no!" and "Why are things on fire?!"
*This should be easier because look how compacted it is* .......
I predict much more screaming and saying "I'm sorry" from the two OX teams when this game comes out.
*Waiter brings out a plate of just lettuce*
Maniac: "I'll have what she's having!"
Ellen did well not getting frustrated with Luke this time round, despite him not paying attention to what people are ordering
As a line cook watching this gives me anxiety. I’m laughing, but I’m anxious. Look at that ticket rack! And clearing newer tickets leaving older ones to die on the line.... ahhhh!
I used to love games like this, but now it just looks like my job :/
Try cooking for high ranking officers and NCO's- not an area where you want to do a bad job...
K Collier im a line cook at a gun range (odd combo I know) may not have the pressure of high ranking officials. It’s an open kitchen too so we do get plenty of unsolicited advice.
Either way best to you! You must be good at what you do.
"Everything is catching fire thats a fun twist" Luke is a pyro and thats why the studio keeps catching on fire
I can't even explain how excited I am that this came out right now. Two hilarious cinnamon rolls playing a hilarious game.. definitely a sign of a great day!
"Everything's catching fire... which is a fun twist" hahaha
Please play this with OxBox. Andy and Jane seemed to love being afraid of Ellen :-)
Brian Daniel I would love to see more cross over videos between Eurogamer and OxBoxTra.
Invade each other's live streams at Rezzex or EGX.
Invade Eurogamer's weekly live stream or OxBoxTras sometimes monthy libe stream 😁
April Fools would be awesome to do videos with swapped ppl or swapped video styles😂😂
Well done. You clearly have your brine directive memorized. Don't interfere with the internals of the kitchen... "Get out, get out!"
I feel like Ellen's panic when playing Overcooked stems from a genuine PTSD fear of cooking.
They really delivered on that whole "how can we make this MORE stressful" thing that clearly everyone wanted... right?
A hot air balloon lands on the restaurant you're dining in, causing a large explosion. You order sushi with sky cucumber, instead of fleeing.
I look forward to seeing Ellen..."take the lead" when the Christmas Challenges roll around....
Sushi and Outside Xtra, my two favourite things!
they should totally make a IRL overcooked, where luke and ellen are preparing food for the whims of our glorious leader, Jane :P
3:10 after watching a couple of Brazzer videos and 3:34 is when come back for seconds
"I accidentally threw away a lettuce" Yes, Luke, you threw one entire lettuce away. :P
Thomas M lettuce think about why! He did that
Making salads on a burning hot air balloon when a storm rolls in. You might say Life is Strange Before the Storm.
I know I'm going to find myself singing Luke's song next time I do dishes!
That was funny. I wanna see more overcooked gameplay
Do they not know what Nori roll is? 😂 The storm freak out was hilarious but I'm not entirely certain you should still be cooking after your hot air balloon has just crashed, unless that's supposed to count as Landing?
You guys really cooked up a storm in the second level ;)
I just kept eyeing that completed dish on the right-hand side. XD
Did they add anything to the sequel? So far it seems like the original.
"everything needs chopping"
My hand regretted that
Michiel Prak That's what happens when you hire Jason Voorhees as head chef
Never forget, always be cheffing
While we would love to watch you play this some more, we don't want Ellen to kill Luke, so maybe get someone in to save Luke if you do decide to play some more Overcooked
Love you guys! And this game. Super excited for another let’s play.
Starts in some sort of street-everyone walks across...
(Next kitchen) in a hot air balloon... walk across now... I dare you...
Said it once and I'll say it again. Your cooking is still better than mine, even with the rats
I preordered this game a month or two ago and am exited to play it when it releases
im impressed no one fell off the blimp
I’m Ellen everyone else who I play this with is Luke
Where are they sending the food on the air balloon? Is it raining food now. The level must be inspired by that one 'Parry Gripp' song. B)
I can’t wait for this game
I hope there will be Gordon ramsay dlc for this
this was fantastically funny.
18th lvl of hell punishment.
I mean to be fair a Caesar salad is just lettuce.
The suffering of Ellen...
This gives me anxiety just watching it!
Chaos
Do these games have tutorials looks kinda hard to play never played before but I want too since thus will have online !!!
looks stressful. I was stressing out just watching.
I order more overcooked!
You both are "player 1"? Where's "player 2"? What did you guys do??
I just want to know when will it come to PC ... :(
this came out a minute ago. wow. the 50th view
Why a hot air balloon. Just why. WHY
Please do a just cause 4 video a
How is this game so stressful to watch?
Yeet
Ellen is super rusty on her cooking skills, must be because she's always eating out during E3.
Luke pretend to be the victim all you want we all know the true victim is game play mechanics and, oh, Ellen of course.
Dare I ask if we can call something an Overcooked gameplay when all the things on fire seemed predestined and neither of them was a horde of rats? It seems so out of character...
17th!
