    I couldn't agree more Adam. Detecting allows you to really relax and help you unwind. Watching your latest video has sufficiently motivated me to return to detect at an old railway station site tomorrow where I have found some 1870's Queen Victoria pennies using the mighty Legend previously. Best find(s) - gold nuggets and worst find(s) an array of metallic junk. Cheers!

    Best: two piece 18th century tombac button. Worst: complete rusty garden fork buried one foot down on beach. Couldn't just leave it so had to lug it around for the rest of the day and the long walk back to the car.

    Best find would be either a pewter Continental Army button from the revolution or a Roman coin, both found here in the US. Worst? The zillions of ring pulls...

      Yep, I'll get new ones soon. Nokta don't make gloves so it'll be a personal purchase.

    This is a tough one best and worst finds there's so many worst finds anything from a washer to a pull tab could be a worst find. I guess I would have to say a very heavily rusted pair of pliers. Best find would be a thick 18 karat gold mens wedding ring with a 1 carat diamond. Back in the early nineties.

    Interestingly, ‘The Texan Detector And Coin Collector’ just did a ‘chill’ video using the Double Score, and now you. So, I guess the Double Score must be the ‘chill’ metal detector. Just turn on an go, not much to mess with.

    Hi Adam, I Just bought Score 2 and I am very satisfied after the first tests that I did. If it is possible make a video about when and how one can use the Ground Suppressor setting. Also, if I want to use Score 2 under water how tight do i have to tighten Charging Input Socket and Search Coil Input Socket in order to avoid water enters the device? Also in wet sand and underwater which mode do you think is better and which frequency (m1, m2 or m3)? Thanks.

    • @DTEKTSUSSEX
      @DTEKTSUSSEX  6 месяцев назад +2

      Hi!
      I'll add that to the list, thank you 😊
      Just make sure the connector/cap are firmly finger tight. Don't force it or you may cause damage.
      I don't really do underwater detecting but my instinct would be M3. It's designed for wet conditions on land so it would make sense to me that it would be the most stable under water.
      Hope that helps!
      Happy hunting 😃

    Adam,what does the nokta double score show on the vdi when you move the coil up and down over the aluminium pieces (space peanuts).Does the vdi fluctuate like the nox800 does over a ring pull?

      I'll be honest I've never found the pumping method particularly useful in the past so I admit I haven't tried it on the Double Score. I'll make a note to test it out 👍

    Quick question Adam, them old pound coins when you take them to the bank do you clean them first, I try to clean the ones I find in the park but it's a pain?

    • @DTEKTSUSSEX
      @DTEKTSUSSEX  6 месяцев назад

      I give them a quick rinse but that's it. It's at the bank's discretion as to whether they'll accept them and some banks might need more. If you get refused just try another branch until you find one that will 👍

    • @DTEKTSUSSEX

      You can't eliminate it completely but using the 'Ferrous' discrimination pattern should help 👍
