‘Overspraying’ has TOTALLY transformed my wearing experience (for the positive) with my fragrances. I own all niche bottles and like you said I don’t get any complaints just A LOT More compliments😊
Joël I started spraying 10 to 15 times everyday and I love this experience. I actually smell my Fragrances and they last way longer like that. I find the scent bubble is way bigger and this brings me a bit more happiness and comfort :)

When applying to the front of the neck, are you applying near the jugular (near jawline) or on each side of Adam’s apple? Does this promote nose blindness? What are your thoughts spraying behind ears?

It really depends on the fragrance you're spraying. High-quality niches don't require 10 sprays personally that's an overkill. I remember spraying 10 sprays or more before just gave me a headache 😫

Joel i was reading something online that was saying if you spray more then 5 it will wear off faster
I like to do layer 15 sprays of red tobacco, 15 sprays of haltane and 15 sprays of sauvage elixir and that gets the job done
10 is certainly overkill in one application. 4 sprays and re-apply during the day works for me more..
It's pretty easy to decide. 1 hour after applying ask someone who is around 1m away, if they have noticed your scent. It's usually depends on type of cologne. Tony Iomi 2 sprays enough. Neroli sauvage 40 sprays ok.

When dealing with Mancera you don't need that many sprays because the juice itself is already potent.
With all du respect before i was over sprayer when i was over spraying i never get compliment now i notices where i spray less i get more compliment with your routine spray try with sauvage elixir or jean paul gaultier élixir you will chok the people

I used to wear Sauvage cool spray a lot. I would just spray one stream down my chest and I'd get compliments for 8-9 hours. Major projection for 4-6. I agree that not all fragrances are equal but I'm convinced that's one reason Sauvage does so well with compliments. I now primarily wear Aventus Pre-reform and I typically go 4-6 and I pull some great attention. To each their own.
Bro I literally tested this today. (Fragrances sprayed listed below) Went to nordstrom, macys and ulta. I sprayed SIXTY sprays of like 10 different fragrances. Waited for them to dry down. Then I stood 4-5 feet away from a few different people and asked if they could smell me. They said no. I'm not kidding. I was like sprsprsprspraprsprsprsprayyyyy. Nobody even noticed me in public.

Most niche fragrances can be oversprayed .
Designers don't use high quality molecules/oils compared to niche houses that's why it's smells harsh and annoying to people if u spray 15 sprays of Dior Sauvage, Versace Eros, Paco Rabanne 1 million.
Try spraying the current Aventus, YSL LNDL with 5 sprays, no one will anything unless they are close to u because they are so watered down and reformulated.
Also fragrance knowledge is important, don't spray more than 3 sprays of Amouage Interlude man or Joop Homme.
What Joel propose is 10 sprays are for niche fragrances, and I own more than 50 niche fragrances. I asked coworkers who sit beside me when I sprayed 15 sprays of ROJA Elysium and they smell nothing unless they smell me with their nose near my neck or shoulder.
Know your fragrances before applying.

Joel I love your stuff but 3-4 is absolutely enough with most fragrances. Just because people aren't telling you they're offended doesn't mean they aren't offended. If you're going 10 sprays you are choking out the entire room. You're going nose blind, which is why you think you need 10.

How often do you smell other peoples fragrance when outside? I personally almost never, only in summer maybe when perfumes project more. Other than that you are totally fine with spraying 7-8 times. On a night out I do 15 with fragrances like Layton oder Side Effect. The compliments are rolling. I want to be smelled and want to make a statement. Indoors in the office is a different story, but it always depends on the fragrance. You could spray a light summertime fragrance 50 times and won't offend anyone :)
@@joelthenose Imagine how annoying it is when someone ten feet away is playing a song loudly on their phone. Do you ever want to tell them "wow cool taste in music bro?". Probably not, you wish they were wearing headphones.
Ten sprays is the fragrance equivalent of that.
@@Victor-sb3rv i respectfully disagree with you, 3-4 sprays of 70% of niche and designer fragances will not be enough to even smell it yourself after an hour or so let alone the people around you.. i do respect the fact that you care about other peoples comfort and you dont want to annoy the people around you by spraying too much cologne but to do so youll will literally have to go above 15 sprays, 7-8 is totally okay, i happen to work at a law firm and i have a really good relationship with all the other lawyers and our legal assistants, we are all very honest and direct to each other and ive never ever got a complaint about my fragance usage, i usually do 7-8 sprays, 5 for important meetings but 7-8 sprays for a daily-work- basis.
