Masterful work of Modeling Art, Martin. Truly a great build and paint job on your 410. Weathering is Uber Realistic. Glad you painted the figures....did too awesome a job on the interior to install the pilot. Inspirational work for us all to admire. Bravo! Bill
Thanks for your very kind compliment, Bill and happy you like how she turned out. The seated pilot wouldn't fit into his seat, I would have had to chop his legs off from the knees down, so instead of maiming the poor chap, i decided to seat him on the wing leading edge! Have a great weekend mate! Cheers, Martin : )
Great work Martin! The 410 is one of my favorites, with that giant cannon in the nose it just looks manacing.
Thanks Patrick, much appreciated mate! Cheers : )
This plane had so many problems it almost cost Willy Messerschmitt his standing in the Reich. Messerschmitt pulled his own butt out of the fire with the 262. This came out excellent Martin, the camo, shading, staining, and decal work really makes it a stand out. Congrats!
Thanks Bob, much appreciated mate! Cheers : )
Very nice results Martin, you did a great job on the 410. The kit does sound like a great value kit with a great result possible. Very well done my friend and many thanks for sharing this build.
Have fun with your next project,
Joe
Thanks Joe, greatly appreciated. Yes, in my opinion, the latest release kit that includes the painted PE is a great price at $26.83. Next project: I'm back on with my Italeri 1/48 scale "Desert Storm" Tornado...I have the paint on, clear coated her and tomorrow (Monday), I'll make a start on the decals. Hope to have her wrapped up by next weekend, we'll see. Cheers : )
Marvellous model Martin. Beautiful work. Thanks for sharing it all with us. Regards, Alister
You're welcome Alister and thanks for taking the time to watch the video and for your compliment, greatly appreciated mate! Cheers : )
i just can say wow Martin !!! this is once again an outstanding work you have done on this plane. You really bring it to life and the result is absolutely mind blowing. Really do admire your outstanding job. I see i still have allot to learn ;-). It is always a pleasure and instructive to watch your videos
Thanks for your very kind compliment, Jean, much appreciated! You don't have a lot to learn, I've seen your armor builds mate...you make fabulous jobs of armor, something I have a lot to learn about before I attempt my first tank, if I ever do! Have a great weekend! Cheers : )
Hello Martin,
I have just seen the final reveal of the Me 410, and you have done a fantastic job, so as they say on the cooking shows, I give you 10/10, well done mate.
Les
Thanks Les, greatly appreciated mate and I'm happy to hear that you like it as much as a 10! Cheers : )
Wonderful work Martin! Me 410 looks fantastic! Excellent painting technique:) Cheers:)
Thanks Marian, greatly appreciated mate! Cheers : )
Brilliant Martin ! Always great to watch you videos brother ! . Ste 🇬🇧
Thanks Ste, greatly appreciated mate! Cheers : )
Very pretty plane, Lovely paint job and weathering. Nice to see the crew as well.
Thanks Paul, much appreciated mate! Cheers : )
Excellent build, Martin! Once again, you've produced a work of art. I'll confess, I never realized how enormous this aircraft was, until I saw the two pilots for scale. She must have been a foreboding sight in her time. The weathering is brilliant - she's seen a heck of a lot of action! As always :-O
Hello again Trevor, thanks for watching and for your very kind compliment, greatly appreciated. Yes, to see her flying towards you if you were ground forces and that large cannon pointing in your direction, it would be similar to enemy ground forces seeing the A-10 Warthog approaching in today's combat arenas. Cheers : )
Ooh, but that's a lovely build. Congrats bud. I really like how you are building these older school kits and making them look the bizz. Nice one, me duck.
Thanks Will, greatly appreciated mate! I'm especially enjoying the Luftwaffe kits, and just yesterday, one of my channel viewers contacted me to say that they would like to send me a 1/48 scale Dornier 217 bomber, because it's a kit I've wanted to add to my Luftwaffe collection of builds! Tracking shows that it will be arriving tomorrow. Have a great weekend, Will! cheers : )
Great build Martin, really love the weathering, and details, :) Tom
Thanks Tom, much appreciated mate! Cheers : )
Another well turned out kit, Martin. I like the weathering on it and like the inclusion of the figure on the wing.
Thanks Brett, much appreciated mate! Cheers : )
Really nice bird ! Great camo job on her ! Very well done
Thanks Kevin, greatly appreciated! : )
awesome work, love the figure sitting on the wing!!!!👍👍👍👍
Thanks Jaime, much appreciated mate! Cheers : )

Thank you Eduard, greatly appreciated and you're welcome! Cheers : )

Thanks Faron, much appreciated mate! Cheers : )
Beautiful work Martin!! Love it!!
Thanks Luis, much appreciated mate! Cheers : )
Hi me old China! This is your best work my friend. The detail, paint tones and the weathering is bang on the button Martin.Mmmm my brain box is ticking over telling me to buy this little beauty lol ;)
Thanks Warren, much appreciated mate! Yes, listen to your brain box, go buy this little beauty, but the newer released kit that includes PE! Cheers : )
superb model!
Thank you Hamilkar, greatly appreciated and thanks for watching. Cheers : )
bloody hell come to think of it that mate is a show stopper really nice paint and camp work the weathering looks really nice how you've faded it in top work
Thanks again Mark, much appreciated. Cheers : )
impressive work Martin.
Thanks Norm, much appreciated mate! Cheers : )
"Breathtaking" and "outstanding" my friend. As a aeronautical engineer friend of mine once described the ME-410--"Epitome of Teutonic"as well as a beautiful aeroplane. I just love the paint work and of course as always the music score.
Thanks Fred, greatly appreciated mate. It is a beautiful piece of German engineering, I love it after becoming familiar with it through this build....it's the Luftwaffe equivalent of the British "Mossie" in my eyes, except it isn't made of wood.
Take care for now,
Cheers,
Martin : )
Your channel looks pretty good Martin...I beg to God for more modeling days in company of my wife, my friends and my Maltese female companion...cheers!!
Thanks Juan, much appreciated.
Your build is so good it convinced me to buy one... DOH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! getting the B-6/R-2 Thanks... I think. LOL
Thanks again, HG, much appreciated! It's a great model, and the newer Revell B-6/R-2 version that you're getting comes with painted PE for the cockpit and the radar antenna on the nose. Have fun with it, but there's one condition...you have to share your results on RUclips! Cheers : )
Hey I forgot to tell you! I had a vey big problem with my canopy on my 47M-1. Panel line accent got in the tape and made a mess! BUT, I have the Mothers plastic headlight restoration kit, so I took a little bit of the cream, put it on a Q-tip, rubbed away and PRESTO! Clear as a bell and didn't remove any of the paint from the frame. NICE!
Oh dear, that wasn't good, but it sounds like your cure is a product I need to look into....thanks for the tip/heads-up! Cheers : )
Outstanding !!
Thanks John, greatly appreciated! Cheers : )
A very impressive model, well done! :D
Thanks Jazz, much appreciated : )
Another incredible model. I honestly think the finish that you're able to achieve on WWII fuselages is the best I've seen anywhere. An everything is done to an incredible standard. Would you consider doing tutorials for the likes of that? I know that there's a fair bit of stuff out there, but not with work being done to this standard. Congratulations again, beautiful work.
Thank you for your very kind compliment, greatly appreciated! Regarding doing tutorials: this year, I'm completely swamped with other commitments, one being the "Me 410 Buddy Build" that I'm hosting until June 30th, then immediately after that, starting on July 1st, I'm hosting a "Airfix 1/24 Hawker Typhoon Buddy Build". I'm also working on a Desert Storm Tornado for a tribute group build. I also have a diorama that has to be done this year, too. As you can see now...there's a lot on my plate, the 1/24 Typhoon will take a lot of my time, it;s filled with lots of lovely details. This 1/48 Me 410 took me 7 weeks of spare time...that Typhoon will keep me busy for 3 to 4 times that. Next year, I will be doing a "Brush painting with Martin" video series....so many people have asked me how I do my brush painting, then I guess the next step would naturally be a "Airbrushing with Martin series", then a "Weathering with Martin" series.
Again, thanks for watching and your kind comment!
Cheers,
Martin
Thanks Martin. I'll continue to watch and be inspired in the meantime. The Typhoon is something else, look forward to that.
really nice weathering there mate looks spot on nice Ariel attachment too which is tricky to get to look right and in scale yours look Bob on well done pal all the best from blighty mark
Thanks Mark, much appreciated. The antenna wire are pretty easy to do....it's just .010" fine black EZ-Line that is elastic. Dip one end into some CA glue put that end onto the aerial and hold it there for about 30 seconds and it sets solid. using a toothpick, apply a small spot of CA glue to the vertical stabilizer mounting point and pull the EZ-Line, gently stretching it to make it taut and holding it over the spot of CA glue. Hold it there until set, again, about 30 seconds, then snip off the excess. Easy peasy lemon squeezy mate! Cheers : )
came out brilliant martin
Thanks Damian, greatly appreciated mate! Cheers : )
Perfection!!
Thanks Daniel, much appreciated mate, glad you like how she turned out! Cheers : )
Luv it, Martin! She turned out beautifully and I second what you said about her appearance. She's a good lookin' gal. :) Take care.
Thanks Jens, much appreciated mate! Cheers : )
Looking the part Martin ,well done mate.
Thanks Lee, greatly appreciated mate! Cheers :
Sharp build Martin.
Thanks Eric, much appreciated mate! Cheers : )
That is a really nice build mate.
Al
Thanks Al, greatly appreciated! Cheers : )
Bostin job me duck. trying to get our back in to the vernacular :).
Cheers mate, much appreciated and ha ha....I've been away for too long that it's going to take me a while to catch up with the newer vernacular! That said, when I do visit family back home, I slip right back into me Lesta accent, me duck, it ain't gone away, yet, which is good, innit?! :P
my favourite !
The aircraft. or, this build is your favorite of my models so far?
I think your Me410 is the best so far ; obviously the Me 410 not a patch on the Mosquito ; which it would be comparable with . As you know I always admire your models which are consistently good no matter how bad the model you have started with .
Thanks mate, much appreciated. It's difficult for me to decide out of my more recent Luftwaffe builds that include the 1/32 Arado Ar196A-3, the Bf109G-10 Erla, the Ju88A-1 Bomber, the BF109E-3 and the Heinkell He 111....plus this Me 410, of course....I love all of them, I just love Luftwaffe aircraft....which seems strange coming from England, my favorite aircraft being the Spitfire, the "Battle of Britain" my favorite movie and anything related to the RAF? Maybe I'm a reincarnated Luftwaffe pilot that got shot down in WWII?! :P
Overall probably I like the Spitfire best . I was looking at my Tamiya Spitfire XVI in 1/32 scale . You may remember I did get the seam of with reasonable success . I am thinking of starting it . Never used mixed media before it has metal parts and very detailed engine ; so it's a bit daunting . I think the only way to go is really keep referring very carefully to the instructions ; an expensive model to cock up .
Sorry my other comment was still ambiguous ; I meant your Me410 was the best of the other Me 410s in the buddy build . It would be hard to pick your best build . I really like your Heinkel 111 but there are just too many now even to remember them all ; without going through all the past videos . The 1/24Typhoon is going to be a big project !! saying that reminded me of the Hasegawa 1/48 Typhoon you made quite a long time ago . I bet you'd like the Tamiya 1/32 Mosquito .
That's just awesome
I got a monogram B-29
But I am too intimidated by it lol
Anyways Nice vid!
Thanks Soark, greatly appreciated :) It's only intimidating when you look at them and think about them, once you get stuck in, you'll say to your self "What was I worried about?!" Procrastinate no more and get that bird built! : )
International British Modeler Thanks man!
She's a bit of a looker isn't she? Nice work
Meh, she's okay I suppose...she could have a nice pair of Daimler's to show off, but, I'll need a Meng for that! Cheers mate :)
These subtitles are a scream!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
